since we had already put in our 30day notice , and our goal was to NOT have to stay a whole nother year in our current apartment, we decided to rent a house instead of buying for now. after spending two weeks looking at and apply to houses for rent, today we finally did it...
we applied and were approved !! aahhhh

We should be moving into our new house on the 28th ;; until then commissions should be going on as normal, since most of our things are already packed! and hopefully it wont take more than just the weekend to unpack enough for me to get to work!

HEY KIDS so uhh, moving is delayed. We ended up loosing the house we were offering (and about to fucking close!) on.

To keep it short; Since we had already put in our 30 day notice with our apartment, expecting to have begun moving last wednesday, theres just NO way we would be able to attempt to buy another house before we have to be out of here.
So were going to look into renting a house for a few months until we can try to buy again.

In the mean time, I will be working on commissions mostly like usual. My output of YCHs MAY be a little higher than my output of finished commissions for a hot sec tho; ychs are stress relieving and easy to make and of course, extra money during moving time is helpful lol
But my work output shouldn't be affected to much since were pretty much totally packed, its just a matter of us going to look at houses now.

SOMEWHAT SCARED TO POST THIS... Because nothing is technically finalized... but we should be closing on our house this week (wednesday!)
If that does happen we'll be taking the rest of the week to move!

But point is, packing crunch time is here, and moving day is almost here hopefully, so commission work will be slowing down a bit. Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that I made it home safe from FWA.
So now, art will be back on a regular schedule.. for now lmao

I'm actually going to be moving soon! At the end of the month, wife and I will be moving into a house! We're (kinda) moving in with my mom, because at the moment she lives with her ex husband and hes horrible and she does not want to live there anymore
But shes also dating someone now and kinda living with him so although itll technically be her house as well, she wont actually be living with us? xD idk, im just excited to have a yard. We have a house picked out and are currently in the process of buying it (thats right, not renting, buying!) and I think we close on the 29th of May?
So for the rest of the month we'll be packing, then the last week of May will be dedicated to actually moving everything over to the new house, hopefully!

I shouldnt need to take to much time off work but ill let you all know if that changes.

Hey everyone! So, I'm not sure if i mentioned this before, but my moms dog Caesar is getting up in age and along with that comes some lil bumps and lumps and things growing on him.

Hes got four right now; a large fluid filled cyst on his neck that we have to drain regularily
A tumor on his left eye that looks similar to a wart
a possible lipoma in his left armpit
and a rather angry looking bump on his right shoulder

I want to try really hard to get the latter three removed. I tried last year, took him in for several checkups, signed him up for a wellness plan, had the date in place for surgery, but was essentially scammed by the vet i went to. They told me signing him up for the wellness plan would give him a yearly dental cleaning, in which the vet could simplly take care of those things while he was already under. however, the morning i went in, they tried to slap with a nearly $2000 bill that i simply couldn't begin to afford.

Last week i found another vet who gave me a much better estimate, and now I really want to work towards getting those things removed. I wanted to set up a gofundme because between my unstable income and just a mess of a life, its really difficult for me to really save up that amount of money.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know we left last night to start to long drive home

it’s probably going to take us AT LEAST four days to get home, maybe longer if we hit bad snow weather (again)

we left a lil late yesterday and ended up not even making it out of washington because the snow pretty much doubled the time it would have normally taken us

Hey everyone! Just wanted to update you all on a few things. First up, my upcoming trip to WA!

If you missed it, I'm going to WA soon to help my sister move. Me and yukikitty will be flying to WA on the 14th and begin driving back to NC with my sister on the 21st, probably
other than the day we fly in, no dates are totally concrete, so if anything changes I'll probably update on my (main) twitter account.
We're GUESSING itll take a week to get back here, but thats a huge estimate because none of us have ever driven this far before (my longest drives prior to this have been from NC to Ontario, and the most we would need to do is maybe spend one night in a hotel or something.

I'll be taking my laptop with me so I can still work while I'm there, but as we'll be helping her pack, I'm not totally sure how much I'll be able to actually work!

Hiii guys! My family went back home on Friday and which means I am finally going to be able to get back to work ;w;;

I had a blast with them here, even if it got exaughsting at the end haha. my nana and grandma got to meet by baby nephews and i think said newphews FINALLY realize that... i am their family lmao. i dont see them to often so they dont remember me well

we also went to myrtle beach!! that was a lot of fun! We didnt swim, we just walked along the boardwalk but it was so nice and we had a little picnic0

UHM other than that i actually don't remember much of what we did lmao. i guess we mostly just hung out and caught up! it was really nice.

and yesterdaaaaaay we went to the aquarium for yukikitty 's birthday and it was so fun!! I loved all the fish so much... there were some baby turtle and i wanted to cry and SOME STINGRAYS AND HORSESHOE CRABS AND SHARKS I GOT TO PET!!

My Nana and Grandma are visiting from Canada, and its been like, 5?! years since I've seen them!!
They flew in today, and will be here until the 26th. My wifes birthday is also the 26th but were celebrating on the 27th, so, I probably wont really be back until the 28th or 29th!!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know the hurricane has passed and im doing okay!

Our power went on and off a decent amount on friday night, but thankfully ended up actually staying on for (as far as i know) the rest of the time. BUT ON SATURDAY OH HO HO we got a real nice little notice telling us that anyone within 1 mile of the cape fear river had to evacuate by 3pm the next day
were 0.8 miles away :3

we were able to pack up everything that night and leave the next morning without and problems , tho carrying everything to the car in the rain was terrible
we went to my moms who isnt far from us but, is technically in another county so we were all safe there

thank goodness we were able to come back home yesterday with pretty much no damage. flooding didnt reach us, and though there were some downed trees in our neighborhood, non around us. there is a bit of leaking in the ceiling of our bedroom though :')

bUT UH we should be getting it fixed soon and all! and art and commission work should be back on track now too!
