Yesterday our cat named Boopers didn't finish his breakfast, had trouble using his back legs, groaned, and even spent most of the early day moving to secluded places... to die. We we're expecting he'd pass in his sleep but he was trying you move around this morning, back legs still not working well. A few hours later I found him writhing in a dark puddle of what was likely his own urine. Once my mom got home from work we knew we couldn't put it off any longer. We went to the vet to have him put down. We said our goodbyes and held him as the doctors sedated and put him down. It was hard for me to look at him as it happened. But it's over. He doesn't have to suffer anymore. The tears we shed are a testament to how much he meant to us. We will never forget him. He lived a full life for a cat, about 16 years.

I was surprised to find my mom came home only an hour after leaving for work. She told me she recieved news that one of her coworkers died. The guy was just 19 and ended up in a motorcycle accident. Apparently it was fast as they found him dead on the scene. That's not the most horrifying thing. I saw where it took place just the other night. The intersection had been closed off by police while I was on my way for a late night bite. I never would have thought that of all things someone died, let alone one of my mom's coworkers. I met the guy too, quiet and kept to himself. Just makes you think about what we take for granted, ya know?

After probably 16 or so years, it seems like our cat, named Boopers, is starting to reach the end of his life. Yesterday his back legs started to give out as he walked around and he'd just sit around. I tried to feel his legs to see if there was any pain, but he never yelped or outright objected what I was doing. My mom and I are fairly sure that he's reaching his time. The thought has been mulling over in my mind since last night. It's been a while since we had to let a pet go. We'll be doing what we can to take care of him until my mom takes him to the vet for likely his last day some time in a week. It's gonna be hard to let him go, but that's just life in the end. I'll always love him, even after he passes. It'll be sad, but we've made good memories with him. That's what really counts

(Update 3/21) So far he's actually doing fairly well. He has a harder time jumping up and stepping down, so we moved his water glass from the countertop to the floor by his food bowls. Otherwise he can wobble his way around and take care of himself. We're keeping an eye on him though, but so far things aren't going as bad as expected.

(Update 4/10) Well, he's finally deteriorated further as he is now mostly blind. We've known he's been partly blind for probably half a year now, but now it seems to have hit full scale. He's having trouble navigating and I even found he didn't make it to his litterbox one time. We plan to move his litterbox closer to his food but I'm worried how things will progress moving forward.

I'm in wait right now to have a procedure that I'll need 6 weeks to recover from. It's for my urethra which I've been having to go in for 3 times in the past two years. This should be the definitive surgery so I won't have to come back for this issue.

Finally picked up the first volume yesterday and I'm already hooked. For those who don't know, BEASTARS is a manga that is animal people, their society and their struggles. Primarily herbivores vs carnivores. Heck, the first scene is a murder. The topics portrayed are just so deep that I'm eager for more. The anime adaption of the manga is coming out in Japan in October as well. I'd highly recommend this for anyone looking for a more dark Zootopia-like story.

I know my last couple journals have been downers so let's change that.
Thanks to the generosity of my dad's gf, I had the opportunity to go to Denfur this past weekend. I had an amazing time as I had gotten to partial for the first time in a setting like this. I participated in charades and had a lot of fun. But even just wearing a partial, gods I was melting so often XD. Seeing the dance offs was amazing as always. You guys can do amazing things in full suit. I had to leave early Sunday due to a urinary scare where my steam was weak. I wanted to go home just in case the next time nothing came at all. Thankfully the next time was a stronger flow, but it was better to be safe than sorry. For those unaware, I had to go to the hospital last year because my urine flow got blocked.
Aside from the day I missed, I had a great time and look forward to being able to go again next year. Thank you to the people I got to meet and hang out with and thank you to the furry community in general. Stay great

Who to trust, how to feel, I just want time to go back or at least move in more favorable ways than it does...

Life has been a beautiful kick in the ass lately due to lack of conviction, being broke, and playing the waiting game with people.
But aside from that is love in general. Though  sento_silvermoon's passing still makes me sad when I think about it, I've been able to move on from the grief of the event dragging me down. But trying to fill that space where he once was.... well, you can guess. Recent events haven't exactly been helping my mood either. Thus, I apologise to anyone I've been cross towards lately. I wish I was a stronger person, but change has never been easy for me.

P.S. People seem to be misunderstanding. I HAVE moved on from the tragedy that happened, but I'm trying to fill the romantic space that it left behind.

I was told that as of March 22nd, 5:50 pm,  sentosilvermoon , aka Samuel died of heart failure. This information was given by his brother, William, who contacted me today. It would be appreciated if word was spread to Sento' s other friends on here. We have lost a good fiend.

Sam, even though we never meet in person, I was happy to call you my boyfriend. I'm sorry.... Rest in peace....

So a couple days ago I drove myself to the hospital because I was unable to urinate. They failed to put two different catheters in as my bladder was obstructed and I was sent to surgery. They found out I had an urethra stone blocking entrance and removed it. I was sent home with medication and such with a catheter in me for the second time in my life. They take that out inn a couple days and next week I'll likely get another procedure done to fully fix the scar tissue that's been bugging me since puberty. I'm doing fine for now, just having trouble sleeping. Hopefully this all goes quick and clean.

Hey everyone, been a while. I've finally gotten a job. Been working it for little over a month now and that has left me a bit drained, thus the lack of contact with some of you. Also, I now have a Switch and my own smart phone. Very exciting process on my end considering I've wasted how many years since graduating high school? Anyway, hope you're all doing well.

The demo of my RPG is now available on RPG Maker Fes for the 3DS. Please let me know what you think and any tips for how to improve our what to try in the future. I especially need help on vehicles, automatic minecarts in particular.

Excel Souls is an RPG I'm working on in RPG Maker FES. It's a typical fantasy RPG with dungeons to explore and bosses to take down. Failed the first time because of a stupid mistake, but today I passed my driving test! Feels good to get that out of the way finally :-P

How do you react/feel when you see the full moon?

My mom had made arrangements to fly out to see grandma tomorrow. We just got the news that her mom, my grandmother, died earlier this afternoon. We only got the news that she was sick on Saturday. It happened so fast... At least she didn't suffer long. My mom is still flying out there to attend a ceremony tomorrow and to bring back the car she was promised. I'll be home alone for about a week to look after the cat. Thanks to my grandparents on my father's side, mom has the money to go see her. Just about everyone we know has been very supportive and giving us their best wishes. Thank you guys to for taking the time to read and for your support.

My grandma is at stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer and is looking really bad now. My mom has to make her way over there practically tomorrow or at least this week. I'll be staying home by myself to look after the cat. My grandpa (father's side) is going to give us some money so she can fly out there and we'll also use it to leave some food for me while she's away. It's happening so fast. I had no idea that when I walked to mom's work two days ago that I'd hear that her mom has cancer. I haven't seen my grandma much, but I know she's done a lot for us. I'm gonna miss her

Yesterday after my mom got to work, we learned that my grandma (mom's side) was in the hospital and diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer. The time frame is that she has 2 or 3 months left. My mom is trying to figure out the best way to get to her since she can't drive out of town. Plans are in the works right now and I don't know if I'll be able to go with her. Can't leave our cat alone at home. Again, things are just in the works right now so we don't know what's gonna happen yet.

Who else is anxious and ready for the best Zelda game ever on March 3rd? I can hardly contain my excitement X3

Whether it's issues with money, work, or family, a lot of us seem to be having a rough time right now. In particular,  sento_silvermoon is losing his father to cancer. It would be appreciated if you could go and give him a hug or three. Sento, I hope the best for you and I'm sorry I can't do more.
