So I've kinda just been using FA as a way to communicate with people and to look at and fav stoof. I'm mainly uploading pics on my twitter now [at]KairooSays :3 I'll probably upload more here later on, maybe when I my refurb is done x3 but we'll see. I know I have some pics that need to be uploaded, but I need to figure out where I put them xp lolz

But yes, this account is still active, I'm just not uploading much these days :P

Fursuitting allows me to bring smiles and joy to any young kids who see me, and the same goes for other fursuitters. This is a well known and obvious concept with fursuitters, but every once-in-a-while a kid reacts in a special and heart touching way that becomes a cherished memory for the suitter.

Over a year ago I was in a parade in P-Town for the annual Carnival. During the parade, as I was giving high-fives to kids, a young girl, about the age of 5, grabbed my paw and hugged it. I had come to see the experience as my favorite fursuitting experience as it was so sweet x3. I still cherish this memory, but yesterday, Saturday Sept. 6th, as I partialed at the local King Richards Fair furmeet, a young girl did something so heartwarming that I was speechless and almost brought to tears.

After the final jousting event at KRF I was headed to go meet up with my friends to go to the cookout that night. I had Kai's head and his paws in my hand, as I wasn't supposed to wear it for the event as it would spook the horses. I hadn't even thought to put him back on as I was distracted by the conversation a friend and I where having. As we walked, a young girl in a pink princess outfit and what looked like 3 simple snowflake designs on her face stopped me. She looked to be around 8 years old. She pointed at Kai and asked if I'd put him back on. I smiled and agreed. Her mother turned her around and told her to close her eyes as I "transformed" into Kairoo. I knelt down once I got Kai on and had her turn back around. Once she saw me her eye's lit up. She ran over to me and hugged me. She then looked at me and asked: "Will you walk with me?" then she put her hand out to me. I smiled behind Kai's head and agreed. I never expected the walk we had to be as touching as it ended up being.

With my paw in hand, she led me back towards the jousting arena. I started up a conversation and asked if she had enjoyed the fair. She said yes, then went on about how she was a real princess. She introduced herself as Princess Rose and told me how she had magical powers. I looked at her and asked her what kind of powers she had. She paused for a second and said she just had magical powers. "Ok." I said. "Can you prove it then?". She looked at me and responded with: "Well... I made you transform, didn't I?" This made me laugh on the inside. She had me. I had no way of challenging that response.

By now she had gotten curious. She asked me my name and I responded with Kairoo Dragonfox. She responded by saying that not all foxes where nice, but I was, and she liked that I was. after a bit more of walking and surprisingly intelligent conversation from someone her age, we reached the gates where they were leading the horses and actors out of the jousting arena. One of the workers there looked at her and asked: "Who did you want to see, honey?" She looked up at him confused at his question and said: "The horses of course." Sadly they had all gone through the gates and getting ready to go back in their pens, so she wasn't able to see them sadly, but she understood and asked me if I'd walk he back to her mother. Of course I said yes.

We spoke more, and her mother met with us half way back. Before letting go of my paw, she squeezed it a bit and told me she could feel my bones, and knew I was real. She then told me about the other days she would be at the fair. I told her that if I was able to come back to the fair, I'd look for her. I followed my friends back to the meet up area at the picnic tables. I was almost speechless for the next hour following the experience. I didn't feel like I had walked with someone of her age. She acted so much older then I was expecting. I could feel that she was someone who believed in and loved the idea of magic. She hadn't cared that she saw me out of suit. Princess Rose had looked past the idea of the suit and saw Kairoo for Kairoo. I really don't know how to better explain this in words, but hopefully that gives you the idea of where I'm going with this.

Fursuitting brings magic to kids. I know it's corny, but experiencing a heart touching moment like I have has really been eye-opening for me. I'm overjoyed that I was able to experience this, and I hope to bring more smiles to kids and people in the future, weather it's from a simple high-five, or a conversation filled walk! X3

Ok, ya, this journal is late, but I've been being lazy about doing it and busy catching up on work since I got back xp Annyyywwwwaaaaayyyyyy AC was really fun this year x3 and real quick, a BIG THANKIES to  DJHak and  ares91 for putting up with my crazyness and surviving a 10 hour drive to and from AC. If it weren't for them, I may not have been able to get there easily *Gives them both big, dragonfoxie, thankies huggles* I got to meet a bunch of the other dancer furs finally along with ones I haven't seen since FurFright x3 I would list them, but I don't want to accidentally leave someone out xp BUTT I'm so happy I got to meet them regardless and I can't wait to see all of them again *wags fast and happily* and I want to again thank them all for making my AC this year an amazing and fun one with all the parties that happened. And I want to thank them for giving me more dancing tips and helping me get better as a dancer :3

Along with meeting them, I also got to meet this really awesome blue and white furred guy named Atris through one of the dancer furs x3 He had the best and cutest British voice and the most adorable partial x3 And speaking of blue and white furred cuties, I also got to see  ~Angeal~ again, along with his adorable bf  joxthalonewolf :D I missed them so much since I got to meet them last year x3 There where also a lot of other people I got to meet this year, which was really awesome :3

On the note of this though, I want to also give a shout out to  Ghostt who accidentally got my song at the dance comp due to a technical difficulty, or something xp Regardless of the fact that it wasn't my fault that this happened, I still feel really bad that it did xp but I do want to congratulate him on pushing through it and still pulling of an amazing dance routine to it :3 and for that *Gives  Ghostt big, dragonfoxie, you are an amazing dancer huggles*

I also wanted to add that I forgot to get my shirt this year xp so if anyone has a medium/large they want to give/sell me, I'd be really grateful x3

OK! just some real quick updates along with this journal :3

First of, for the (I believe) 11 people that have started watching me since AC, THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH *GIVES YOU ALL BIG, DRAGONFOXIE, THANK YOU HUGGLES*

On this note, I am now at over 300 watchers x3 which means that dragonfoxie huggles are now at 300% :D I'm also adding this to my main page now because why not? x3?

Ok, yep, this journal is late, I am lazy, this is a fact XD I've also been busy with the 3 jobs I'm balancing this summer... yep... OK moving on so Elliots Spring Gathering was AMAZING!!! I've never flown before (ironically), nor have I even been half that far out west :3 AND I got to hang out with the amazing  djwolf and meet one of the coolest bunnies I have ever met, eh, actually, I'm going to go with one of the coolest people in general I have ever met. I don't know what their FA is, but their name was Yama :D

Now I was thinking about going on and listing each night seperatly, but tbh, they were all pretty much the same. Full of dancing and partying in the suite, playing some CAH, and meeting awesome people. Though, Sunday night of the con (I believe that was the night) I did end up getting really drunk XD and that was fun x3 Through this experience I did meet  Limin who got me some water and  Maolfunction who kept me standing for most the night :3

As for the dances that went on until 2am, I got to dance with  HappyAngelTiger a lot, and dayum, he can dance :D I had a great time with him ;P

Now I can't remember EVERYONE I met sadly, it's also 4am so I kinda don't want to be hunting right now XD BUT I dd get to meet and hang out with  orona Who had a really cute British accent <3 and  hotrodwolf1989 who was a really cool guy.

As for the trip home, it was interesting XD I ended up having an unexpected landing in Omaha which ended up in me getting to meet the artist  Sapphwolf (I believe this is his FA, I just searched them while writing this XD). And I thank both him for the ride from and to the airport, and his friend and their wife for giving me a place to sleep for the night :3

If you are attending any of the  MassFurBowl and would rather get some sleep in before having to drive all the way back home, I do, and have always, allowed my room to be used as a resting spot for furs after the event. Before asking to use my room, please be aware of the infrmation below:



Rules:

Please be aware, this is not my house. I rent a room from my landlord, but they do not mind me having people over. They have requested that I enforce 2 rules when people stay in my room for the night:

1) No Showers. Sadly, since I am paying them such a cheap price because they are parents of a friend of mine, they do not allow any of my guest to use the shower. If you absolutely need one, I will take with my landlords, but I can't guarantee anything.

2) You cannot be in the house when I am not. Due to my landlords un-trusting nature after past experiences, she does not want any of my guests in the house when I am not there. This should not be of any concern to you as I normally take the next day off and am home all day, so you are free to leave whenever normally, but things can chance, and I still would like anyone who needs my room to be aware of this.

3) I can only hold 1 guest. If it's absolutely necessary I can hold up to 3, but I would need to make sure this is ok with my landlords, so again, there is no guarantee here. I basically keep it at a first come first serve basis when it comes to renting my room space for the night.

4) Please be quiet. When we enter the house, there are a lot of pets. Some of these are pugs, and love to bark. The daughter gets very angry and yellie if they start barking which can cause me to get in trouble with my landlords later.

5) If it turns out you do not need the room, please contact me ASAP. I will contact you around 1 week before the bowl to make sure you are still coming and need the room space.

13-15: Must have parent/guardian permission
12 and under: No, unless for special reasons.

Reserving:

You can reserve a space up to two meets in advance to be fair to other people. I will be commenting on this journal about what months have been reserved, and by who.



"Payment":

I require no payment at all for this room as it is just a nice gesture from me to you, and to the  MassFurBowl . I do however have one request. If you are staying in my room, I ask that you try to help me get to and from the bowl as I have no form of personal transportation myself. My suit is carried in a gym bag, and my head stays outside of the bag.




Caution:

Please be aware that my landlord owns many pets, most of which live in the house. So, if you have any allergies to being in the same area as dogs, cats, fish, ferrets and/or horses, I would suggest not using my room. All of these animals live in the house, except for the horses. My landlord keeps them at another location. I only mention them as there may be traces of horse hair in the house. I doubt it would have any affect, but I still want to mention this.



Sleeping Arrangements:

Normally I allow people staying over to have my bed as I've slept on a lot of floors and I don't mind sleeping on them. My bed is a small, one person bed. If you are willing to bring a sleeping bag, especially if there is going to be more than one of you, I'm not stopping you. My floor does not have a rug.

Just got back from a fun MassFurBowl mini con! There where about 80 attendees, some of which I knew, some of which I hadn't seen in months, and the rest where ones I got to meet :3 I was so happy to see  ares91 ,  djhak ,  Kivu ,  Jake_Bolt ,  erp101 , and  BoltTheSuperDog again, especially since he had his new and cute suit x3 also, I'd like to thank  Kamillex and  JaiyDaWoof for being hella awesome snuggle budies :3 and thankies again to  runrunner for the ride home. And a BIG THANK YOU to  BerettaFusion ,  Strobes , and, of course, the amazing  Gale_Frostbane for pulling together an AWESOMELY FANTASTIC celebration for the 25th massFurbowl meet. So, after much thought, I've decided to make one of these journals, mainly because 2013 was one of the best and most memorable years of my life thus far, and I want to write it down for memories (this is a journal, right? XD) If this journal is tldr btw, I've shortened it at the bottom :P Also, I've never done one of these before, so I'm just going to write it like I want it x3 ANYWAY here's Kairoo's 2013, year in review journal:

January 2013 was when I finally moved out of my mothers house. I was so happy to leave, and for two reasons. Reason one was that her bf and I where ready to kill each other. The second was because I was getting a great deal on a room :3 Then I got my fursuit not too long after from  tunny . From then on, I attended all my local meets with my suit, as you all know x3

March came rolling around, and I found out that my landlord was in the St. Patrick's parade for a local dog part. I wasn't going to let this chance to show off my suit go away. I talked to her, and decided to do it without the wings to reduce the questions. PLUS, I'm green, it worked :P 2 and a half hours of a parade later, I was dead tired and wanting water so bad, regardless of the low temperature. Though, to be honest, I had a friggen blast, and hope I get to do it again this year!

July held a lot of firsts. What I mean by this is I went to AC13. This was my first AC, my first fur con, AND my first vacation I've taken without blood family. I went up with  berettafusion . I had a friggen BLAST and met A LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of awesome people there. I'm not going to specifically mention EVERYONE, because I know it won't fit, but you all know who you are ;3 Here's the after journal of that con for me: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4821330/ . I canNOT wait to go again this year.

A couple months later (I can't recall which xp) I went to Provence Town Carnival ride and joined in the parade with a bunch of other fur friends of mine :3 This ended up being longer than the parade I did in March by half an hour. I had a GREAT time with everyone, regardless that my suit got horribly dirty xp. The fire we had that night was very memorable for me too. I can't wait to do this again, but this time, hopefully with a float :P

THEN October came in a couple months after. I had been invited to go to FurFright13 by some really awesome people, mainly because they wanted me to do the dance comp, which I DID! I got to meet a hella lot more people here too. I found it to be more of a relaxing con, and was able to meet and talk with a lot of cool people in the fandom. When the dance comp rolled around though, I recall waiting to go on, felling half extremely excited, and half horribly scared to go on infront of a over packed room, but I did, and I don't regret it :P I didn't place, but that's fine :3 I had an AMAZING time, and I can't wait to go up on stage again and shake my tail for everyone :3 I dance to entertain, I love to entertain, and I now practice religiously everyday, more than I was before, to keep entertaining all of you for many more cons to come x3

ALL of the cape bowls I've attended this year where amazing! We broke our record of attendees this year, and had a great Christmas meet imo :3 And I CANNOT wait for the one we're having this month x3

What does 2014 hold in store for this dragonfoxie? I plan on attending 6 different cons, all of which are listed at the bottom of my FA page :P I intend on improving myself in both appearance and dance and money, and I can't wait to see everyone again and to meet more awesome people. I don't bite... much, and I'm extreamly kind hearted, ask anyone :P If you see me at a con, give me hugs, I love them :3 I see all furries as family, not strangers. And when you see me on stage, I hope to entertain you as much as I can x3

So yes, 2013, you were a blast, but 2014, you will be better, I can promise you that :3

I do agree that this is the LONGEST journal entry I've done yet :P but incase it's TLDR:

2013 was a friggen blast! I moved out of my mothers and got my suit not too long after. I went to AC13 and FF13 and met ALOT of awesome people in the fandom. I was 2 parades, one being 2.5 hours, and the other 3 hours. I got to be in the FF13 dance comp, and was happy to entertain a over packed room full of people. All of the cape bowls for 2013 were AMAZING and I can't wait for more to come, especially out January 2014 one! Speaking of 2014, I have many plans. I'm going to 6 diffrent cons, improving myself in both appearance and dance and money, and I can't wait to meet more awesome people like I did in 2013! Say hi and give me hugs! I'm a friendly dragonfoxie :3 and I can't wait to do what I love, and get up on stage to hopefully entertain you for many more cons to come :3

So just a quick update for everyone. While FA was down, I created a Weasyl account. So I will be updating and checking this site now just as frequently as I will be checking my Weasyl :3

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL YOU FURS!!! I am truthfully thankful of all my furry friends out there, and my watchers, and my  dancerfurs family, and everyone else in this crazy fandom ;3

So I really wanted to make a journal thanking all of my 200+ watchers right now x3 All of you crazy fur butt's are friggen awesome! I know it's not a lot of watchers compared to most furs on FA, but I had 100 watchers some time around the end of AC13 and now I've gained another 100 in 4 months! That puts the biggest smile on my face *wags* So I hope I can keep all of you smiling with my dancing and crazy antics and whatever else it is I'm going to be throwing on my FA page for the next 100 watchers and beyond that even :3

Btw, I was going to make a journal like this around the time of my first 100 watchers, but I got distracted and forgot xp SO I made it a point to do this journal :P

I had a bloody AMAZING time at my first furfright this year!!!

I got to meet a bunch of awesome furs like  The_Remix and  Flinch two really awesome furs and amazing dancers who I've learned a lot from in the couple of days I got to hang out with them. Then I can't forget about  Flip~ and  Erp101 two great snugglers X3 Then theres  khahak, who I had a fun time eating with at the dead dog dance. I also can't forget about this cutie I ran into several times at the con  CrowChimaera24. And as always, it was sooo awesome to run into one of the cutest things on this crazy planet  ino89777, A great dancer, and beautiful person.

And among everything else, it was so great to be apart of the dance comp. Thanks to the tips I got from both  dexraccoon and  JD_Puppy I was able to improve my dance and have a lot of fun. And again, a big THANK YOU to everyone I knew and met at FurFright this year for making it a fun con. If I'm forgetting anyone, I'm sorry, but I met so many people that it's hard for me to remember everyone :P but don't worry, you're still awesome ;3

So my cell has been broken for a little over a week now, so anyone who has tried to contact me in that time, no I was not ignoring you, I just didn't have a phone :P I would have made a journal when my phone broke, but silly me didn't expect sprint to be a D and take forever to look at it and fix it xp

So, my first AC was friggen amazing! X3 i made so many new and awesome friends like  ~Angeal~  DJwolf  Tyno_Surf  Mint-Solstice  Drakefur  cheesebeagle and many others x3



I have a bunch of pics which I will be uploading to my FA soon x3 *wags* i got so many pictures of and with some awesome people x3 at the same time I was also able to get my tail to  NeoPanTyger video, and to both of the filmings of  dancingduke video :3 I can not wait to see the results because the choreography for both was a challenge to learn XD



I was so happy to meet some awesome people such as  RedRusker, everyone from  Kitty-Loves-Monster,  Immelmann the artist who created one of my top favorite comics, "Concessions", and one of the people involved with the comic  Roommates, another comic I am currently in love with, and also the artist  fasttrack37d, among many others. I also was happy to meet some of the people from  shenanigans and get to talk with the voice of Sheen and  Fatigue x3

Ok, so here's whats going on today:

If you guys don't know, I rent a room in a house with my landlord, her husband, and her daughter, BUT TODAY THEY ARE ALL OUT OF THE HOUSE ALMOST ALL DAY!!! They are going to Anime Boston, and I have the house to myself *cheers* x3 So, in no particular order, here's what I aim to get done for who ever is reading this journal (because I like to pretend I have fans... XD):

1. DANCE VIDEO(S)!!! I'm think 1 - 3... maybe more, idk x3 I just want to show off what I CAN do ^.^ This will be in partial suit as I have to do this inside for it is raining xp (I mean, I love rain, but not today...) and there's barely any room for the full suit in the house, what with my bad-a wings and the fact that I'm a MAJOR KLUTZ XD

2. A live stream for idk what yet x3 I'm think a "ask me" kind of style, why not x3 This will most likely be in partial suit...

3. I'm also considering like going on chatroulette or something 'cause why not x3 again, in partial suit x3 This would also be filmed and put on my youtube page x3

Just sayin', this doesn't happen often, and while I could do this with them here, it would be harder as these are people who always hear that tree fall in the forest XP so music (loud enough for me to dance to) and/or talking loudly/Loling could get them mad sadly xp
