I apologize for my extended absence of art/updates... I've been EXTREMELY stressed lately.

Mostly because of this "Robotics Club" thing I was invited to be in. It was alright to begin with... Sort of... But as of late, since we've decided to "Build a team" and enter a robotics competition, things haven't gone so well. I've had some trouble with the person in charge of the whole ordeal, (Not a teacher, a volunteer parent person lady) and she's been REALLY getting under my skin lately. The objective of our team is to create a (scale model) lunar rover of sorts. So far, we've done nothing. For the past few weeks, I have pretty much been on the sidelines doing, well, nothing. That really irritates me, because I really want to start designing or building prototypes for the competition. Can I do that? No. I've got to be like the unpaid intern that just jots down notes of "key points during the day."
I got about a paragraph of "useful information."
Honestly, I've been brainstorming ideas for lunar rovers since I was four or so. I offered to make the video portion of the project, which is my forte, to which was replied with a shrug and an "I guess..." kind of answer. Now she's asked someone else to do the video. (Someone who has NO CLUE really how to go about doing that.)
We also need a logo, so I came up with a few, and she said something like, "Well, I'm going to have some other people make some logo's too, and then we'll pick one." Or other people thought it should be different and then showed me their (completely bogus) idea.
I think I'm going to leave that team, because if anything, they make me feel as if I'm slowing THEM down.

On another, more pleasing note, awards were given at school today. I got a handful of things like "Most Inspirational" in drama, a plaque n choir, high GPA awards (4.0) etc... So that brightened my mood a bit. but sadly, this was the last day for our seniors... Meaning most likely, after the graduation ceremony, (which I have to play in the band for) will most likely be the last time I see one of my good friends for a long while.

Again, I'm sorry for the lack of art stuffs, I've just been lacking motivation and feeling a bit depressed.

Other than that, I'm JUST FINE! =P

Lately I've had a few ideas that I was considering to draw, but when I have free time, I lack motivation. When I DON'T have time, all I want to do is draw! I just don't really like the lonely feeling I get when I do draw though... I hate being alone. =/


In other news, I'm officially done with Choir this year! I even got a plaque! :D
Not quite done with band though, I've still got to play for the graduation Saturday after next...? Something like that...
Um... I guess the only thing else that's kind of cool is that I'm 99.9% positive I'm the only one in my grade that kept a 4.0 year-round. =P

Well, I'm back from the country club's bruncheon, the food was MUCH better than last week. We celebrated Mother's Day there, along with my ninety-four-year-old great aunt, and a few of her friends and step son. We took her hame afterwards, and after that, we then went to the theatre, and on my mother's request, we went and saw "Dark Shadows." Still in our fancy clothes! XD

I can be formal when I want to be, but not so much other times!

Anyways, you know how I was almost going to be guaranteed the lifeguarding position this year? Well, then there were only 2 spots for hiring this year. (19 total, but with 17 returning lifeguards.) Also, to add to those odds, there were FOURTEEN APPLICANTS!!! Yesterday I found out that I didn't make the cut. I shook it off, because I figured that the people who were accepted were juniors or seniors who have applied multiple times through the years but didn't make it in. It made sense, because I believe I am one of the most experienced swimmers in our town, having over ten years of swimming at that pool... And taking private lessons... And taking more private lessons once I passed all of the swimming levels to hone my skills and technique... Anyways, I wasn't completely crushed about it, but then I found out who DID get the jobs... Two classmates, (Ironically both are past piano students of my mother's.) One of them, a girl, is OKAY... But during the "Guard Start", which I was unable to attend most days due to videography classes, and which I'm not sure if EITHER of them passed, but when I WAS there, I helped THEM with form, and sort of taught them how to swim, because they really aren't the best swimmers. The guy, an old friend of mine, in fact the only person who's EVER stayed with me at a relatives house, and who suddenly started to completely ignore my existence a few years back. I'm not sure HOW he got the job.
I guess I'll just volunteer to help with lessons again this year... For no pay... For four days a week... And maybe I'll be able to go through the "Guard Start" course this year, and HOPEFULLY get hired next year. =[

On another note, I was one of two freshmen in my city to get a 4.0... Yay...

I'm off to my 93-year-old aunt's BIRTHDAY PARTY! (Turning the big 94!) Then she's coming back with us to stay for a few days...
On top of that, I have to complete a "time travel company" pamphlet thing... Last year it was a group project and they got 2 weeks to complete it. This year with our sub, we got 3 DAYS to work on it ALONE and as HOMEWORK. Plus, I have another LONG assignement for vocab, and ANOTHER LONGER assignement review thingy. It's funny, I NEVER get homework, but I do now. IN ONE CLASS. And it makes me sad because it USED to be my favorite class too. =/
I'll probably upload my pamphlet thing if you want to see the results of a three day deadline on a project this big.

On the up side, I've been able to fulfill my inner furry by playing as the tiger on that old PS1 game "Crash Team Racing." You thought it was odd when I said I was playing PS2 games on my computer with an X-Box 360 controller? Now I figured out how to play PS1 games on my PHONE with a Wii remote! =D

My cat finally did I mean. He's been in there for HOURS!

Sorry for the misleading title! I just wanted to let you guys know that I might not be submitting that much starting Wednesday and going for who knows how long... I just found out that my 93-year-old great aunt is going to be staying for a while, coming back with us from her 94th birthday party at the country club. I know what your thinking, and she's not like your typical 93 (soon to be 94) year old! She owns her own plastic-molding company, lives in a new luxury condo, and DRIVES HERSELF TO WORK ALMOST EVERY DAY!!! So now for the next few days will be filled with stories, most likely told over, and over, and over... And not to mention hour-long Yahtzee games! =D
Fun times ahead... Yeah...
But seriously, she's great! She's the closest thing to a grandparent I've got.

Does this mean my "Happy Dance" animation will be delayed? Not really! That's the beauty of the template system! =3

I'm feeling much better, as you might have noticed by the sudden increase in submissions from me. Started feeling better yesterday, (In fact, I was so wired with energy I could barely sit still! And that's REALLY unusual for me.)

I have some things I want to get finished, but I'm not sure what order to do them in... What would you guys like to see first?

Oh what fun it is to be able to go to school and not be able to think straight! I apparently missed the whole week that we started to seriously get into TRIGONOMETRY, so I have no idea where to even start. I know I'm doing it wrong when I confused a graphic calculator with my equations...
Uuugh, I finally went to the doc yesterday, and I apparently have a REALLY high pain tolerance, because I have a terrible sinus infection. That leads to headaches, toothaches, and POSSIBLY SWELLING OF THE BRAIN. No, but seriously, I really can't think straight at all. My mind is... I forgot what I was typing just now... X$
Anyways, I just hope I'm better in time for the Prom... (Saturday)

Better than I WAS anyways... (I was completely bedridden.) The symptoms are suppose to linger for up to two weeks according to the doctor... Hooray...

I absolutely HATE this! I can't do ANYTHING! Most likely I'll have to miss school AGAIN tomorrow, bringing my days gone during this to five(?) days! I can't even remember...
Missing school would be somewhat barible if: 1- I didn't get homework. And 2- If I felt even the slightest bit alright. I haven't really used my computer in DAYS, (extremely unlike me,) and I can't even play something like "Angry Birds" without either getting woozy or dizzy! I've literally been sitting at home doing nothing but watching random British shows on Netflix! Hopefully I'll be able to go to school by Wednesday! :C

I've been sick for a few days now, but today seems to be the worst... I could hardly sleep, my stomach's upset, and I can't think straight. :(

I just had a daydream about a Japanese guy riding a camel somewhere in Canada, and he was making those little yellow line segments on the road, except they were red and somehow powder-based because it was coming out of a satchel or something on the camel! Then a policemen confiscated the camel because his car broke down and he needed it for a car chase... Sounds plausible, right? O-o
