Or more seriously, over a year later (about a year and 4 months really) I have actually started work on some of those comissions I took back in 2010 ... yeah, I'm really going to do those ... SURPRISE!!!

I just had to actually get good enough at drawing to be able to pull something off that I am comfortable releaseing on the general public ... hence the very-unfinished-sketch I just dropped into ma gallery.

In other news I need to bring all the feeds at Furry Audio Projects back up to speed (due to my extended abnsence from the net earlyer this year, and my total abandonment from the 'friend' who was going to keep them upto date for me ... you know who you are and I will kill you later) since they are stuck back in May or something ... that will kill an evening I'm sure, not to mention actually adding in the pages to the shiny new site and ... hmmm, okay that part may not come off quite so fast, I do have a few pieces of art to draw.

Merf, hate to do this, but unfortunately Sketchfest for March has to be put back a week: I have an inspection on Tuesday I need to clean for, and my Niece is being Christened on the Sunday. Which means I'll be busy all weekend. BUT, I can't see any reason it wont happen on the 11th to the 14th of March. Sorry guys, but I couldn't get out of them even if I -wanted- too.

... So, my artwork is back underway, and I'm actually starting to like what I'm producing on my tablet (assuming something else on the Draconic-bitch doesn't blow up ... lesson people, if you build a new pc, just replace EVERYTHING, not almost everything ...)

http://www.FurryAudioProjects.com is being built up ... no thats not the one being advertised on FA, this is something different entirely - my site is a hub site with a huge RSS feed encompasing podcasts, music and audiobooks but my site itself contains no actual content - it mearly links you to the sites of others ... or it will when the broken alpha version comes down and is replaced by the real thing ... yes so the only thing that really works on the site right now is the RSS feed ...

Anyways, since I'm really not busy in any way what so ever ... who thinks this 6 limbed Driger should actually go ahead and launch his podcast finally? Its going to be sort of a general news, interview, special guest weekly kinda of thing which ... okay I have no real idea how its going to play out episode wise because the idea in my head is a little 'wierd' ... but thoughts people?


p.s. Yes it was just my power supply that blew up :)

... my computer's power supply fried on Saturday and its replacement won't be here till the end of this week ... so I'm kinda 'vanished' for the next few days, assuming the only thing thats blown is the PSU which I can't check till the new PSU turns up *crosses my fingers* here's hoping ...

... damn, no one mentioned to me that these things have a bit of a learning curve to them ... don't rest your paw on it (that messes it up some), don't try to watch what you draw when looking down (that doesn't work for this cheepy tablet that doesn't have a built in screen), don't try to do a finished piece of artwork the first time you take the damn thing out of the box because you're gonna head-desk yourself to death ...

well I guess the whole idea behind these images I'm doing is to ...
a) apparently learn to draw again since to my mind this thing is WAYYYY different that what I have been used to ...
b) oh dear god, I have to color with this thing too? ... how the hell is that going to work ...
c) learn how to use Open Canvas better (yes yes, I have photoshop CS4 but I opened it, got lost with all the toys - I think simpler is better right now)
d) give up on perfection on the first damn image and stop erasing half of what I draw after I draw it because it's not quite right ... I can always re-do the ones I hate the result of later after I improve ...

Since there has been a little confusion over the numbers and what they tend to mean I have decided to throw up a journal here to explain things a little better :)

1st Number
0-Sketch : 1-Inked : 2-Full color : 3-Thumbnail : 4-Chibi : 5-Sketch : 6-Inked : 7-Full color : 8-Thumbnail : 9-Chibi

So the 1st digit of the random number I am giving out represents the type of artwork you get - everything from a simple sketch to a full color image, a thumbnail or a chibi-sytle image


2nd Number
0-Foot : 1-Hand : 2-Head : 3-Crotch : 4-Tail : 5-Body : 6-Torso : 7-Tongue : 8-Back : 9-Ears

This 2nd digit refers to the focus of the image - so a hand image would result in an image focusing on the hand, but not necessarily just of your hand. The same obviously goes for the other areas.


3rd Number
0-Clean : 1-R rated : 2-X+ rated : 3-Clean : 4-R rated : 5-X+ rated : 6-Clean : 7-R rated : 8-X+ rated : 9-Clean

The 3rd digit sets the tone of the picture, clean (obvious), r rated (nudity but not sexual) or x+ rated (defiantly sexual).


4th Number
0-Water : 1-Toys : 2-Bondage : 3-Food : 4-Sports : 5-Blood : 6-Plushie : 7-Dance : 8-Weapons : 9-Size

This 4th digit actually refers to props more than anything in the image - so water would refer to either a setting such as a pool, or maybe a bottle of water, sports things such as soccer or football, size is probably the weirdest in there. But saying that all of them could have different meanings in an x+ image - toys for example can stop meaning kids toys and start meaning something alot more adult :)


5th Number
0-1 character : 1-2 character : 2-1 character : 3-3 character : 4-1 character : 5-1 character : 6-4 character : 7-1 character : 8-2 character : 9-1 character

This final digit refers to the number of characters in the image including your own. So 1 would be a solo image of just your character, 2 would have another character in there, 3 would have 2 more and 4 would have 3 more. These characters can be randomly generated or picked by you. Also these extra characters may not be fully in the image, it much just be a paw or tail or something depending on the image and its size and type.

Well, I haven't finished making the whole list up yet ... but I've scrolled through what I have left and notes ... and I have signed myself up for over 575 pieces of art ...

But yes, I should have this big list created in the next few days and I shall post it up on here along with all the stats for the various different categories as well :)

Okay, so I want to pick up my drawing again after many many years ... so this is how this is going to roll *smerks evily* oh and you don't pay a thing, this is 100% FREE ...

I {insert name here} am allowing Kaito to use my character {insert name here} in a piece of artwork to be drawn by Kaito, in a randomly generated scenario as described in the journal above, without fear nor favor towards the result.

Why such a wierd entry format you ask? Well let me explain ...

Once you enter a number will be randomly generated for you from http://www.random.org/ between 0 and 99999 the result of which will set the boundaries for the artwork in question, the rest of the scenario being figured out by my twisted imagination. Any 'low' number (for example 43) will be made up with zeros (so 43 = 00043 in our example).

... well the humidity is coming back, last weeks rain kinda killed it off for a few days but now it looks like the temperature is on the rise again, and that needle is draggin the humidity up with it ... NY is gonna be sticky all over again :/ uggies ...

... thats right kiddies www.furryaudioprojects.com is starting to move. The domain is registed, the site is in alpha and not going to release in its sparkly form for a while (okay Flain, this Drupal stuff isn't THAT hard, but its still a pain to get it to do exactly what I want) but it will shift up shortly in good old HTML format.

Soo ... you're looking at me and wondering just what FurryAudioProjects is right? ...

Furry Audio Projects is a gateway website (or will be soon) linking everyone out there to the world of furry podcasts and music (audio books, and anything else ... well ... audio). Its going to feature forums (naturally) and a bunch of other things that are currently making me pound my head onto my desk.

Its also going to have links to every podcast website, RSS feeds for all the shows ... oh and if you're anything like me there will be the one feed to rule them all ... thats right ONE feed ... one really REALLY big feed which will feature all the shows on the site.

What would I like from you the humble listening public?
