Geniuinely, I haven't even paid rent yet, and we don't have money for fucking food this month. I keep hoping things will improve but, it hasn't, I am doing my absolute best. Az and I have been skipping meals just to ensure we can maybe eat, but idk how long that will last. x_x

Well, we thought this month might be smoother -- but a few bills came for about $400 in total more than we expected, which actually affected people in our building too (one of the $100 charges was a valve the water company charged EVERYONE to change in their respective apartments. They said we could do it in payments but they lied :) ).

Part of what sucks, right now, is all the development for Anthropolis has been through me and Az's funds -- We're already about $1,000 down over the whole project on what we've worked on so far... If you wanna support the project, for now, buying commissions from me and adopts would be fantastic. At the moment we dont want to ask for real funding until we have more to show of the project -- so for now this would be more supporting me and Azael personally while we get back on our feet.... We have 30 days on this month to survive. ._.;;;

As of today, both mine and Azael's banks are empty, and pretty not great since there's 21 days left in the month since he got paid.

What's really really fucked us over has been school debt that has taken what little money we've had at the end of the month.

I need to be honest with you all - I'm feeling really discouraged about my artwork lately. Spending hours or even days on pieces only to see minimal engagement has been wearing me down. I constantly question if my art is good enough or if I should just give up and go back to a day job.

It's hard not to compare myself to others, even though I try not to. The silence after posting something I poured myself into just... hurts. I've reached a point where I don't even look forward to sharing my work anymore because that feeling of disappointment has become so familiar.

If my work resonates with you, I'd be so grateful if you could share it. I feel vulnerable even asking this, but I really do feel trapped in this small bubble and don't know how to break through.

I'm doing my absolute best to catch up on projects, though my motivation has taken a hit. I appreciate your patience as I work through this difficult creative period. Even when I complete something, I struggle to feel good about it.

Thank you for listening. I wanted to be honest rather than pretending everything's fine. I'm still here, still creating, and hoping things will get better.

So I'm in a bit of a tough spot this month and could really use some support from you all.

What happened: I got hit with some expensive visa stuff recently that totally drained my funds. On top of that, both me and Azael need our meds which cost about $150 for me and $100 for him (we're on the same medication).

I've been trying super hard to cover everything with my art income, but I'm coming up short for food and rent this month. I really hate asking for help, but I'm kind of stuck right now, and worried about feeding myself, Azael, and the dog rn... Not to mention, I couldn't pay rent to pay the visa stuff and medicine. Luckily we rent from family, so they're understanding, but I really don't want to abuse that and make him wait longer for our responsibilities to be paid D: 😞

I'm reaching out because I'm in a difficult situation with my visa application. I need to come up with $400 immediately to pay my application fee.
The deadline for my application is March 28th, and I'm already behind schedule. Missing this deadline could seriously impact my immigration status and future plans.

A few things, I am taking driving courses (god why) because my US license expired and I have to get it here in Colombia if I want to drive -- it sucks, but theyre nice enough to give me accommodations since I only speak english (WELL).

Second thing, I have had to go to the dentist and am now in treatment with one, I had a gum infection *ow* and she has helped w the pain relief and now I am working on the treatment plan with her to start undoing some of the bad crap Ive done to myh teeth -- luckily, only aethstic which can be fixed ^^ My teeth are still strong and I am so grateful for that.


Fiiiinnnaalll note, please bear with me sometimes just the stress of 8994328 people talking to me at once can make me go hide in my safe place for a while. I am trying my best, but I am not good at asserting myself (As every time I do, I look like an asshole. I promise im not, I am just SO bad at it that I freak out and im emotional. Im working on it but its hard). So please, if I ever don't answer a message, give me a couple days and try again. I will try to respond, or if you really can't reach me, please message I really do want to catch up, and if I've missed anyone, please reach out, I want to in 2025 finally get rid of my queue and I am working hard on that. So please, be patient with this dork and message him if I am being too annoying. I really don't mean to be, I am working on it, but sometimes my self esteem is so low I can't talk to anyone without anxiety.

Seriously thank you so much to all who donated and spread the word. The car is in about 80% working order; it still has a few leaks but the mechanic said that as long as we check the oil faithfully it should be okay but it does need those extra fixes soon, but not as big a deal as the fixes they did. We pretty much told them to get it working and as safe to drive as possible while sticking to the budget of what we were able to come up with with the donations and everything! Seriously, this year has been a roller coaster and I think I would've called it quits without all of your help. I really appreciate it! I am gonna clean up my gallery and journals now since the emergency is over.

It was nice to get a couple days out, respite, it kinda feels like the world decided me and Az NEEDED a break...even tho he still had to work, but he got to chill a bit with me. I am hoping to maybe plan a vacation during december to do something small or go some places on weekends more often, it really is good for one's mental health to get out of the cave every now and again and I think I gained a small appreciation for that x3!


Today I am going to rest, I am *beat* I did more walking in those 5 days than I did in 6 months... I did decide however, I REALLY want to get an electric bicycle. I am VERY unhealthy and out of shape as you all know at this point...it embarrasses me to admit, but it is what it is, and I can do better yeah? So I am thinking of trying to save up for an e-bike (Why an ebike? My town is like....98% HILL and I think I would literally die without the assistance, ESPECIALLY in the beginning). I gotta do research on brands and reliability and what's good...Anybody know? I have seen some online on mercado libre (our amazon) for like $500ish. I gotta see if they'd be any good.

One more hotel night 🥲 this shit really add up fast.
