There's about 343 million people in the USA (rounded up). For this specific case, that number is probably less because the administration has a hard-on for public money not going to undocumented immigrants (which wouldn't happen anyway?) but let's give this a very undue favorable lean and say that all 343 million people will be covered.

I wouldn't put much trust in numbers given by the CDC these days, for a wide variety of reasons, but they list average weight (for adults over 20) as 199lb for men, 171lb for women - we'll tilt the numbers even further and just say the midpoint of about 185 is the average weight for everyone (including babies).

After some reflection I've removed my discord username from my profile, and replaced it with a link to my personal discord server.

I've been getting hit a bit too often by people who are obviously only interested in getting me to commission them, which wouldn't be too bad in and of itself (I know people gotta advertise their art, especially when they're just starting out) but they take hours or days of trying to chat me up and build a false rapport before actually making the sales pitch. It's getting tiring and makes me suspicious of anyone new contacting me.

If you want to advertise your work or commission availability to me, the Kalo Division Fanclub discord server has a dedicated channel for advertisements. You can join, chat with the people there, and then drop your link/commission info and I'll check it out. GENERAL GOINGS ON

I moved! This was a couple months ago, and I probably already mentioned it in a journal, but it's still affecting my schedule. Dealing with getting the new house fixed up, dealing with getting the old house fixed up and on the market, fixing things and then *re*-fixing things we thought were fixed... Signing the paperwork and moving all of our junk was only the start.

I also have been traveling around a lot. I'd planned all these trips months ago, bought nonrefundable tickets and made nonrefundable reservations and... then we moved, so instead of enjoying my shiny new house I've been out of it for about one week out of every month, on average. Oops.

Right now I've just arrived home from Reno, having just attended BLFC. It was a blast, though probably going to skip next year for a couple of reasons (that are no fault of the convention itself). Might hit up some different conventions around the country instead, and make plans in 2027 (maybe).

Okay, on to projects.

IMAGE PROMPT CHALLENGE

It's been a while since I posted, but progress is being made in the background. Part of it is that I've been traveling this month (this is also why I put my deadline in November) and haven't always had the right combination of time, energy, and privacy to write smut.

... Also my laptop's keyboard broke a little bit. Not enough to be wholly unusable, but enough to add some much unneeded friction to the writing process while I've been traveling. (I picked up a cheap bluetooth keyboard as a temporary workaround but it's still not ideal.)

I'm still taking suggestions for this challenge, by the way. There's been fewer suggestions than I expected, so while it isn't a guarantee, there's a pretty good chance yours might get picked.

Backlog has grown a little bit, but it's far from unmanageable this time. One good afternoon of focusing on posting should catch me up.

In addition to the main animation, which will be in first person view, there'll be an alternate version animated in third person view! I need to stress that I paid the animator only for the first person view, this alternate version is something he's made of his own volition and on his own time.

I'm setting a challenge for myself: between now and the end of November, I'm going to finish and post 30 short stories (500-3000 words each).

The theme I'm doing is "Picture Inspired". I'll take existing furry art and use that as inspiration for these stories - desciribing what's going on, coming up with some backstory that lead to that point, or narrating the aftermath, stuff like that. For an example check out Fox's New Features, which was inspired by this image, or Ruth's Break which I wrote based on one of my own commissions.

For this, I am taking suggestions on what images to use. If you've got a favorite piece of art, and want to see it get the story treatment, here's your chance!

Art that's just pinups or characters posing for the camera isn't going to inspire much. Actions (characters doing something) interactions (characters doing something to each other) or situations (the environment doing something to the characters) might work a lot better.
Comic pages or images that are heavy on dialogue might not be good choices, since those are telling a story already. This Campus Avenue image has about the right amount.
Fetishes I'm not into are not disqualifying, since I'm trying to expand my range of what I can write, but please pick out good images for that since I'll be looking at those a little more harshly.

So - the promised 8/8 art upload flood was maybe more of a trickle.

I uploaded 21 things, which is pretty good! But I've got about twice that many still sitting in my to-upload folder.

A large part of it is that I had to finish up Heartbite to post it today, which took longer than I expected. Speaking of which, Heartbite V0.8 is out! Go check it out! It's my new baby and I want everyone to go look at it (if you're comfortable with reading it).

... Going to upload a bunch of art. Some of it's vore, a lot of it isn't, just stuff that's filled up my backlog.

I'm also going go dedicate the day to working on Heartbite, and seeing if I can't bring it to a point I'm happy with for the public (beta) release by the end of the day.

Long time followers might remember me talking about Heartbite, which is my combination nonfatal-vore/petplay setting for roleplay and stories. It is more or less the 'main' canon for most of my characters - there's a few exceptions, like the teacher/breeding fetish stuff doesn't take place there, my pokemon OC's aren't there, and all of Ari's "I work at an office that allows nudity and encourages fucking in the open" stuff isn't there... but the vast majority of it is.

I've mentioned Heartbite a few times, and made various attempts at explaining it, but I feel like I mostly haven't really satisfactoraly explained it in any level of sufficient detail. So it's always been this sort of background element that surfaces in a few scattered stories, or in descriptions of artwork I commission...

... So this week I decided that I would write at least a few things down about it.

And then I kept writing. And kept writing.

... And right now, it's sitting at a meaty 12,000 words of worldbuilding, lore, and general information. And I'm not even considering it finished yet.

It's goal is to tie together (most of) my characters into one cohesive setting, provide rules on how the world works, give a feel for what it's like living in this world... and ultimately be a single document that I can simply hand off to anyone who'd like to make their own Heartbite stories or art, or do roleplaying in it, or whatever else.

I've been working on this setting on and off for nearly 8 years, mostly through brainstorming, private roleplays, and commissioned art/stories... so I'm really stoked to be getting it all down on paper to share it. I want to get it properly finished before I post it, but look for it being posted in the near future.

Looking for beta readers! I've got something that's not quite done yet, but could use some feedback on how to develop it further.

This is for a nonfatal vore worldbuilding guide/roleplay guide. It does not use graphic language or describe vore scenes in detail, but it is still very vore-focused. It also has a lot of petplay focus, if that is something that would bother you. If neither of those are a problem for you, great!

This is still being written. It's missing a lot of things - locations, character profiles, example scenarios, some more worldbuilding about technology level and the like, and optional rules for taking vore/petplay/furries out of the setting, among a great many other things. The final product is, if I'm allowed to be ambitious about it, about 4x as long as it currently is. But for now I'm just looking for feedback on what's there so far.

I'm looking for constructive feedback. "I liked X" or "I didn't like X" is nice, but less useful than "I did/didn't like X because of Y".
