Because I'm quitting my job!!

I'll be out by the 11th and you know what that means-more art and more time to do the things I love to do. However I'll hardly be able to do anything between now and then-I'm working every day but Wednesday next week and the week after that, with a few 13 hour days lmao

But, yeah, I hope to see y'all there, finish some commissions, do some streams, you know. I also have something fairly big in the works with a friend of mine that I'll hope to make more posts about in the future! I'm also hoping to give my Subscribestar some new life with new posts and more posts.

I know most of the time when I post a journal it's like yelling into the void but I figured I'd write this up here.

My irl job is giving me a lot of physical and mental wear and all beginning to get to be too much for me soooooooo I was basically planning on quitting near the end of September to focus on art related ventures. I want to clear up my commissions soon, which isn't working during a work week normally pushing over 40 hours (I'm supposed to be part time, only 30 hours) but I'm going to try and use what free time I have to finish outstanding commissions, there's not many but there's a few (You know who you are lmao)

So I guess that's really that-I hope y'all will continue to support me through it, it's a bit hard to make this decision but I'm not in a good mental state at this job anymore. I actually have a good deal of art to post from a while back that I'll try to get around to posting lol

I'm somewhat being forced to upgrade as my old tablet of almost 10 years has started to break down-the USB port on the side has started to bug out a lot on me so it doesn't stay connected. It has a secondary usb port that does work but is also a tiny bit iffy.

I'm down for commissions to help cover the the bill but no pressure! I'm hoping it won't hurt my bank account too hard lmao

My old one works well enough to get work done and the new tablet will be delivered in about 10 days or so. I'm busting through my current work atm to be able to get new work done.

It's still heavily under construction but I'm hoping to have things to post to it by tomorrow!

So it's been slow trying to get work done but I'm slowly finishing commissions as much as I can.

But I have a pretty big thing to make a note of here- I'll be moving soon! My first and only move so far, out into the world on my own with my bf. Not really "on my own" but you know lmao
But I figured I'd make a post about it because I'll probably be without my own internet for a while until we can get all the things sorted out. EDIT: I should have mentioned I'm literally moving probably like next Monday. (Around May 4th)

I stopped posting "Going Live" notifications after I had someone complain about a title discrepancy so to avoid any problems in the future I only announce on Twitter and Discord. My last thing, does anyone have any pointers/tips for new people moving out? Anything I should keep in mind or buy before leaving this house? We're not moving too terribly far from my parent's house so if needed I can always borrow items and can move items from one place to another without needing to hire anyone or anything but is there anything you would tell someone who has no experience with

Also, some interesting news, I'm helping out some people on an RPG game as a concept/promo artist! At the moment we don't have a title for the game but I hope we can finish it and release it to the public! I'm going to post art created for it on the website as well, as it finishes up more. I can do sprites of a certain dimension as long as you let me know the sizes (Like 64x64 but resizing them may not be that easy?)

Drawn icons can be any size and resized for your needs. 

Sprite icons can be animated for an extra $1. Animation includes blinking, moving ears, and slight expression changes.

I bought some shipping envelopes that are more rigid than the ones I use for my keychains and magnets.

I may also sell these separately (but honestly, if someone from here would want to buy one, just going through Etsy is easier for all parties as far as I know.)

I'll also be gearing up to sell needle felt projects, which may have expensive initial shipping costs as I'm not sure what is effective for shipping a small felt piece. I bought two boxes that are 6x6x6 and will easily hold any projects, but the price will be somewhat higher to ship. I'm always going to be looking for cheaper alternatives~

So, I've been contacted by a few friends now that someone has been using "Queen Kami" as a display name on Telegram. Their username isn't that but I also don't want to share the username publicly.

This isn't a problem, at the moment, as they don't seem to be causing any trouble but just keep an eye out on it if someone starts trying to shit post under that name. Make sure you read the username, not display names! I think I have a telegram, and if I do it's probably under a username like QueenKami or KamiKitty/KittyKami and will most likely also have my art as the display icon.

I figured I'd share this as two people have told me about it, and I've just asked them to keep an eye on them incase they start trying anything, you know? If so I may have them request a name change or something? I dunno, I'm not too worried about it, I doubt they know me and I've found many user tags as Queen Kami over the years on Twitter and Tumblr and so on.

Just figured I'd write this so if someone sees something suspicious they don't think it's me.
