Posted 13 years agoOn this day, we celebrate our third year together, we've had rough times, rougher times, and some fucking hard times, but we've also found a happiness unrivaled and unparalleled, never did I think I'd find someone who could make me feel the way you do. My darling Rikka Hyou, I love you today just as I loved you the first time I set eyes upon you, and no matter how much I believe you deserve way better than I can provide, you stand by me, you hold me and you love me, and all I can do is thank you and promise that I'll love you forever.
Moving on
Posted 14 years agoSo it seems life has thrown another curveball our way.
We received notice from the estate agents that we are to vacate our house in two months time. Essentially we've been evicted.
Cue an hour of moping and feeling rather upset by the situation.
However, all is not lost, a friend has come to our aid and essentially offered us a room in his house to rent.
So it looks like in two months time, we'll have a housemate and a new place to live.

Posted 15 years agoAnyone (crazy enough) might remember a few months ago I wrote about wanting a tattoo, one that depicted a paw print and a dragon's wing.
Well, I finally got one sorted!
The final design was provided by the ever amazing

1. Who eats more?
I think we can give each other a run for their money on this one. At a push I'd say Rikka COULD eat more than me, but would complain for hours after that he was full!
2. Who said “I love you” first?
Pretty certain it was me....at what should have been an embarrassingly early stage of our relationship. We had both agreed it was the right time to say it though...and it was magical when we did.
3. Who is the morning person?
Me. No two ways about it, he really is the sleepy feline.
4. Who sings better?
Him, I can't hold a tone to save my life. Rikka has the sweetest singing voice for certain songs, but for others, I've had to ask him to stop XD
5. Who’s older?
Me, by 5 years.
6. Who’s smarter?
Him, He can do math! I can't XD
7. Whose temper is worse?
Mine, I think....I don't think I've properly pissed him off, but I don't plan on doing so either!

We try to share things, but this one he does a little more due to his college time.

Again, shared as much as possible, but I seem to get this one a little more often.

I sleep on the left, him on the right, it works out really well where the bed is in the middle of the room, no one gets disturbed by mid-night wakeups.

Right now, mine, due to him having a haircut last weekend!

The prospect of four hours driving tomorrow isn't a nice one...45mins to Basingstoke to pick Rikka and Snowdog up, and then the journey up to Manchester.
I'm sure all will be fantastic when we get there...it's just...the getting there...

Posted 16 years agoSo I'm looking to get a tattoo done, and as I'm so outta money, I can't commission an artist to do me a design, so I grabbed my wacom and set to work...
I have managed to get a single design done in this last hour or so, and just wanting a lil feedback if possible from my friends here as to how it looks, any improvements or adjustments that might help...or if I've been an idiot and should start again! XD

1 | What is the name of your fursona?
Kamira...or Rae...or if we are being REALLY fussy...Kamirae
2 | Where did the name of your fursona come from?
I have always, for as long as I remember, had a drawing towards huskies, and dragons, those two have become the fursonas for my two halves.
Their names are just what felt natural to me.
3 | What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
Kamira is a Husky
Rae is a Dragon
Kamirae is a mix of the two...and what I strive to become.
4 | What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eyes/etc.
Kamira has black and white fur, typical husky, though he has bright purple eyes (mine were purple flecked at birth). His defining features are these eyes and the dragon marking/tattoo across his chest, that is also purple. On his back there are purple lines running down from his shoulderblades as if they were wings. Kamira always wears a bandanna which holds his long spikey black hair back that is tipped with purple.
Rae is a black feral dragon with a purple paw print marking on his chest, mirroring Kamira's dragon marking. Purple eyes, purple lines down his wings and a purple tounge are what make Rae.
5 | What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
Kamira is how I like to be, happy, bouncy and fun, carefree and loyal. He will always stand up for his friends and loves to be social.
Rae is how I hate being, Sad, depressive, mistrusting, brooding and violent.
The two represent the split halves of my personality, a result of something from my childhood.
I fight a constant battle of supression of Rae, trying to be the happy husky, but I can't deny the existance of the dragon, hence the markings.
Kamirae is what I wish to become, a balance of the two sides, a whole entity.
6 | What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
I wish I could say the eye colouring, however that faded from me a few years after birth, however it is still something unique and meaningful, so I guess that counts.
7 | What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?
Depends on which one I met...
If Kamira, I'd probably have a great time and play frisbee or something.
If Rae, I'd probably end up as a dragon's dinner -_-

If Kamira, I'd thank him for allowing me to express myself.
If Rae, I'd....well, I don't know, I guess I'd thank him for giving me the strength to carry on, but I'd curse him for the way my life has been torn to shreds because of him on so many occasions.

Kamira hasn't really changed in the years I have been him, he has gotten a little older, and alot more playful, in line with myself becoming more social.

I am just another fur, one that likes to take up a pen every now and then.
