ITS MY BIRTHDAY YAY!

So lets come out of the gate with it. My mother has cancer, she has brain and lung cancer from years of smoking cigarettes. Since then I have had to pull away from doing all sorts of things bit by bit and now well here we are waiting for her on Hospis. These last few months have been the most grating. In late may I was apart of a accident that left me battered, bruised and carless while also taking care of my mother. Then my mother fell and had to hospitalized then moved to a rehab/nursing home until late august. What does that mean for all of you? For a small part of you, I might be having to unsub and reduce my patron spending. Otherwise, not too much honestly its not like I was producing much of anything but, just in case anyone was like, hey were has that cookie monching asshole been? Here. Here it is. I am not asking for donations or pity I just know folks are wondering where I have been/are in life so here it is.

It birthday, yay birthday! 2022 may not have started the greatest for mwah but overall I am happy with it. And I am glad ya'll were there having a great time with mwah!

Now, I happily write for my friends but, now I have more of a interest to branching out. That is right I wish to write stories for folks for money. Now this is still in the planning stages, mostly pricing to make sure I can make money while not screwing over folks on FA.

Above all else however I need to see if there is any interest in this sort of thing! In regards to content, I am not above adult situations as you can see throughout my stories. I am also willing to discuss ideas that are not present throughout the various stories I have made. However the only kinks I will not budge upon are, Watersports, Underage anything, and obscene acts of violence for sexual gratification.

For a AC related journal. Its been a bit hasn't it certainly let some things settle down and able to sit back and get things back together.

Thursday: Surprisingly all the things that could have went wrong did not go wrong on my way to Anthrocon! My flight was on time, I got there two hours early, and the flight was quite enjoyable in fact! Thank you American Airlines! As for the con itself, I did not think it could be so flipping active early on but I was wroooong. From panel to panel my boyfriend and I watched. I was super surprised how open and enjoyable everyone was at the con! Suffice to say by the time we went home to our lovely hotel my feet were SHOT.

Friday: Bright and early we got up to go to the scalie meet up for  Klussnave with bleary eyed and feet sore me bitching until we got a shuttle to the con. Suffice to say even with all the soreness of my feet we did happily enjoy quite a few panels. Opening ceremonies was great, then Scalies was enjoyable and I got to meet  TriggerNyar who seemed like nice folks! From there we went to the first time fur con panel where even as an experienced con goer I had a lot of fun! From there however I was on a mission. I was here to shove money at folks and that is precisely what I did. I went to king goro's booth and bought me some pins for a friend! Bought a sketchbook and drawing from  JAEH and also got to meet  MilkyBody over at their booths. Nice folks all around! Fastfoward to about 8 o clock we went to see the two hour show put on by Uncle Kage and Akail and both of them were a laughing riot! From there we went to convention horror stories with plenty of guest hosts coming in to share their stories. One of which involved a semi truck and a sharp right turn.

Saturday: This was a pretty slow day overall mostly walking around and eating food. Furry Jurry was actually more entertaining then one would think. It was basically a phoenix wright live action with furries; props for Boozey Badger for making quite the show! Though things quickly ramped up later that night with the Dragget show live. Where we witnessed one of the host's Boozey Badger's two year old son say their first word. Followed by Blood Blood blood. We tried to stay late that night but, I was simply too tried and the late night show and we both left.

Sunday: With the wind down of the con upon us Kluss and I decided to take one more look around the dealer's room; which by the way was annoying set up. There I got to meet up with both Jaeh and Milkybody for one last time. Besides that however we got to meet up with  PanScolipede  GrineX and a few others before we had to leave for my flight.

Overall the I'd like to say the trip was well worth its wait and its cost. I'd certainly make plans to go back to Anthrocon 2019 if I can and I hope to see you guys there next year!

I know some of your Inbox's are flooded with this game singing its praises saying you should play it and all that. Well, this journal is only going to be my own perspective with this and, well. I am going to basically say the same thing. If you have the money and time for this story you should absolutely give this a shot! Now if you are not a fan of VN (visual novel) Games I perfectly understand. However if you are a fan of stories with plenty of twists and turns hoo-boy does this game have plenty of those.

For those who are worried about the voice acting being grating or un-fitting you will be surprised to hear for such a small project that the voices are very well done. Morgana, Tam-Tam and Darius in particular stand out the best. Millia's voice tends to not have too much range but, she is nice enough to listen to. However, like many VN games, the voice acting is limited to certain scenes to make their points known.

For those who feel the 'kinks' in the game might dissuade your purchase, well yes there is weight gain, yes there is muscle growth. There is plenty of Transformations however, with the theme of the game being, Become What You Seek, I feel it fits the story to have these within the story. And yes there are ways to make sure everyone in the party transform, and ways to keep them from transforming. Though many of the transformations in this game are to the kin of a Monkey's paw sometimes. Oh and if you think the MC is excluded from transforming, well sorry to say she transform the most.

Now for the bad, Millia is the only character you can play as in the story. For those hoping for a male PC, you are best looking else where. For those hoping to explore a sprawling ocean adventure going island to island for this magical treasure hunt, you can not choose which island you go to. The path you go down chooses however, in which order you get to go to each island, or which islands you exclude from your path. Though even I as a player did feel whiplash every time there was a scene transition and I was suddenly on a different island; especially when a crew member exclaims we had been traveling for a year, that line made me double take. Endings in this game also are a mix bag but, with over twenty to choose from some had to be stinkers. Also there are very limited options in regards to settings. Screen resolutions are non-existent with only a option for full screen, windowed, stretched and non stretched. Some of the choices in this game however are the choices I prefer not having, the sort of no we can't actually do that choices. Like making a tiny corgi be bait with the giant gryphon stalking the caves is met with a, no we can't do that. Or shooting cannon balls at a temple because someone is too thick to escape the temple.

Onto the good now! All hail the skip button, it'll allow you to speed you along to your next choice. However I tend to not use the skip button all too often because I enjoy watching all the characters bounce off one another. Transformations are a major thing to the crew, and you. You feel the impact of your many choices in this game and many of them are not for the better. Save states in this game can be used whenever you wish with the escape key allowing you to revisit transformation sequences and romance scenes whenever you wish; if you don't wish to pay for the art book DLC. There are plenty of options in regards to text speed and setting up what the skip button actually skips. The artwork of course is done by  Volkenfox and if you liked his style before you will enjoy it all the more in PF here. Every one of the characters has their own feel and style, no two characters look alike here, even spoiler characters in the many story paths. Speaking of story, this is not only a well written character driven story but, the little bit of world building in this game does paint a sort of Sinbad or Dark Crystal Vibe within the game itself.

To sum up, Pirates Fate is a great example of a VN game allowing for a great story to be told with plenty a lot of player input. Personally instead of a score scale I prefer a buy, sale, rent, and stay away from. For those who enjoy Volkenfox's work with TF Wright I would say this a certainly a buy. For those who just heard of this game and want to try it out, either pick it up during its release sale or wait for a holiday sale. This game gets a full recommendation for this little ol fox! Now, get out there and become what you seek, because I should be asleep at this time of night.
