Last year I moved to Sydney, Australia. I've now spent more than a year here and gotten through first year of Engineering at UNSW with a nice Credit average. I've made tons of new friends and have been having more fun than ever. I've also been mountain biking at some sick places around here too.
As my Aussie friends know, I haven't stopped taking photos! I've just been posting them all on Facebook and not FA because well...I'm sure we all know why. The last thing I wanna do after uploading and tagging 100 photos is upload them again to FA one at a time.
But don't worry! Soon I will begin posting my best shots from 2013. I'm quite pleased with how I've progressed and gotten more and more good shots from all the photos I take. I hope those of you who haven't seen them before like em!
In other news, I'm going to Confurgence in Melbourne next weekend. Very pumped. I just got a SB-700 flash and will be experimenting with that there. Look out for some of those photos in the next few weeks too!

Got the Tokina 11-16mm
Posted 13 years agoWell, I finally have it, the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 ultra wide zoom. It's pretty awesome. I easily shot photos of a ceremony from the front row of seats yesterday, which was great. I can't wait to go shoot nature with it too. I bet most of my photos on here will be with this lens.
Shot my first...10 GB of photos?!?!?
Posted 13 years agoI suppose I should update this. Heh, if you haven't noticed, I got a D90. Turns out that roll of film was the only one I'd really shoot and develop.
And now it seems I've added 10 GB of images to my computer in the past few weeks. Damn, this thing really rocks! After I got my 35mm 1.8G I've been super pleased with my images. I'll have to post some more soon.
Half of the good ones are flowers, haha. I must be pretty gay!
Spring is here and I'm ready for the colors to come alive. Can't wait to get the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8. I better start saving.

Shot my first roll of film
Posted 13 years agoLast night, I dug out my parents' little used Nikon N60 35mm SLR. I was envious of 
's peni-I mean, cameras, so I found what I could.
Today I bought batteries and film and went to Castlewood State Park to wander around and shoot things. It was the first full roll of film I'd ever shot, being handed digital cameras almost exclusively as I grew up. I never took any pictures with this camera when my parents used it.
I posted 9 of the pics that looked good, with some real simple editing for exposure, color, and cropping.
