I've finally completed my program in college, an as an official graduate I am now officially more broke than before! Which means its time to get back to commissions. Woohoo!

I'd like to offer something new and different for a promotion this time around, so I'm throwing to the table some custom character designs for $50 a pop. ($20 less than normal)
This would entail me coming up with an image of a new character based on your suggestions (species, gender, personality quirks,. etc) These will have a basic splash or fill backdrop, no shading.

I have a question for those of you who are fursuit makers and enjoy dabbling with faux fur. I'm about to start crafting a Kappy set - and I'm on the lookout for the longest pile of faux fur I can find. Does anyone have any advice?

This is obviously for a skunk - I'd like the fur on the tail to be as long as possible to keep it kind of believable. With that being said, what are the best airbrushable faux furs? Are there any you'd recommend above others? Are there any that are above 2" in length?

 glitterpills and I arrived in Cancun on Saturday - with a bit of an adventure right off the get go. We weren't able to meet up with the other people at the airport as planned, so Leon and I were stuck wandering around for a little while. Felt a little lost! However the airport staff were remarkably kind - helping us locate their flight and terminal, and even letting me call my family's Canada number from his cellphone. Eternal gratuity!

We've been enjoying the sun and the beach since we arrived - and especially enjoying the festivities here at the resort. It's a great experience being in a tropical place during Christmas, something I've never had the opportunity to do before! It's so strange sitting in a little sundress outside during December. Bizaaarre!

Tomorrow we're hitting up the Coba Maya ruins - Leon and I are setting out to climb to the top! 140 feet apparently, lets work off all the cervesa's! Afterwards we get the opportunity to visit a real Mayan village, get to see their lifestyle first hand and learn to prepare some meals with them. How exciting!

The day afterwards we're visiting Xel-Ha - a lagoon where the salt water meets with fresh water - where we'll be lounging around in the water, snorkeling, and having a lazy day on the coast. We'll also have the opportunity to feed some sharks, and manta rays!

Hey there my fuzzy family! Something's come up with one of my close friends and I'm extending word on his behalf... since this community is very much tight knit and family like, I'm hoping someone can see it in their hearts to help a friend :)

The lovely  DeynaOtter is just on the butt end of a move to a new state, and after getting work in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he's found himself in a rush to find new residence. Starting December he'll be looking for a place to stay for the next couple months just to find an apartment and build up a little more money for security deposits and first month's rent. He's willing to pay compensation as well, with a budget of $350 a month plus utilities. It's important he finds a place ASAP.

Deyna is a 27 year old (as of Dec 6, even!) male, with a well behaved feline companion, Emma. Deyna is a full time worker, a quiet introvert - and Emma is quiet and friendly, and prefers to hide if uncomfortable or disturbed (nonviolent).

I just wanna give you guys a heads up that I'll be hosting a SKETCH STREAM this afternoon! This is a chance for people to grab some cheap arts from me and get to see it unveiled before their eyes!
These will be digital - which means if you'd like some light tones added to the sketch I can do this for an additional $8.

My examples are a little outdated - these will end up being much cleaner in today's stream. (I normally only use sketches through the progression of the drawing, so they're not often refined to be finished pieces and posted.)

These will be $15 to $20 depending on complexity of the character. Can throw in a sketched background for $5 as well, and tone for $8. These will be full bodied sketches!

I'm on the lookout for some quirky containers to grow plants in! I'm looking to preferably take off your hands what you would have otherwise discarded. Gotta reuse stuff!

I'm ideally looking for things that are unique - clay pots, vases or anything typical... and even stuff like ornaments and other decorative objects if they have enough space for soil & plants to grow inside!

If you think you have something - I'd love to trade a little basic coloured bust for it! That's waist up, flat colours with shadows! All done digitally - which is about a $50 value! I'll gladly offer more or pay more for valuable items, but I'm really just looking for recycling or stuff you would be throwing out.

I'm on the lookout for someone who is fluent in Python scripting that can sit down with me on IM for a short time and talk with me! I'm in dire need of someone to answer some really basic questions I have regarding the script formatting!

I have a question for you taxidermy artists out there! I fell upon a tiny lil skull from a Ground Squirrel back at home - the flesh completely eaten away and the skull left within the grass. The skull itself is in flawless condition - no damage at all!
I'd like to clean this up and keep it as an ornament, should I still boil the skull even though the flesh has been eaten away? (Will that damage just the bone if it has no flesh if I boil it anyways?)

I've got a general idea of the process involved in preparing it, but any advice is welcome! How should I go upon cleaning this? :)
