hey guys. looks like im back


last you've all heard from me was when i was struck in a hit-n-run car accident. i was in bad shape there for a while. and since then, a lot has changed. but ill try not to make this TOO wordy.

there is a mass in my chest, needing removed. im diabetic now. im officially in a wheelchair now. i need to be accompanied everywhere i go. my heart is acting up. im on so many meds that i take edibles to manage all the side effects. iiiiiim a hot mess. and medically, its a juggling act.

which is why ive been basically absent. constant doctor appointments.
i was away because i physically was unable to keep working on my computer as my setup was previously. i had my tower hooked up to the tv at the foot of my bed, where id lay on my belly and draw on my tablet, face like a foot from the tv. it wasn't ideal in the first place. but after getting payout from my insurance, i was able to use a bit of it to get a hospital grade wall mounted screen arm, and its mounted above my bed.
the reason im only NOW writing this, is because even with the wall mounted screen, i wasn't able to get on because my tower was over 10 years old, and even with 3 different adapters i could not get my screen to display my old computer.

so today, with the help of my mates mother. we got a new tower.


i have programs to purchase, settings to customize, things to transfer and organize. y'all know how it is.

but im on my way to making my return.
and no, your art has not been forgotten. im just taking this new life of mine one step at a time.

There's still too much happening with me medically for me to say anything definitely. I'm being checked for some serious illness that's unrelated to the crash. Along with the crash itself. But I won't comment on these till I know anything for sure.

But I'm getting a wall mounted computer screen arm which will enable me to draw while laying on my back while in bed. It's been ordered and when able my boyfriends dad is gonna help us mount it.

And I'll be back in action

For the last 2 months I've been recovering from a car accident.

Some guy shot thru a solid red light march 31st and totaled my car. I was driving, and my mate was in the passenger seat but thankfully he sustained no injuries aside from a scrape.

He had to take off an entire week to take care of me. Feed, dress, shower, and carry me to the restroom. I'm not yet able to quantify the extent of my injuries, as I'm still recovering. And the exams I underwent in the ER revealed some other anomalies that I'm still working through. My liver is in questionable condition and I have a mass in my chest needing investigating. Needless to say I have much on my plate.

I couldn't have made it this far without the unwavering support of my mate Mcgee.
And I realized that it was time for me to get yall up to speed.

ATM, I'm also recovering from some chemical burns in my throat (unrelated to the accident) every day I'm finding new shit on me that's broken or new limits I didn't have before. It's also looking like my years of walking with crutches and canes may be coming to an end. I'm looking into wheelchair options now. I have issues with sitting for lengths of time so that will be it's own challenge, but if any of you know anything about plus size wheelchair options I'm all ears.


I wasn't in great shape beforehand. This is now the 3rd car accident I've been in and I don't know what I'm gonna be like when everything finally settles.



Going forward.

In regarding art. I'm going to have to put a full pause on everything. I am incapable of making any content whatsoever at this time. And for my art to continue I will have to find some new way to work. Because I can't sit at a desk, and I can't sit up in bed. Drawing on my stomach is also improbable as well. I'm going to have to come up with a way I can draw while reclined and for now being creative and Jerry rigging some kind of setup isn't my focused priority ATM. I couldn't right now even if I wanted to

at first i thought "wow, thats suspiciously affordable" and didnt have high hopes, but wow. this thing really made me eat my words


its like 50ish bucks, has the lovely glossy face i like drawing on, its fairly large and hefty so it stays in place.
and its got 12 customizeable shortcut buttons. so all my favorite key commands are now just a press on the tablet. and since im used to drawing on a teeny tablet, i can also adjust my "workspace" size. so i can keep that same square size as my old one.

the pen has customizeability as well, really. this is a great tablet


ill be a little bit, familiarizing myself with my new tablet. but i think im good now!

i really reccomend this, for anyone wanting to get into drawing, with a super attainable price. <3

so my old tablet was a wacom from like, 12 years ago. came in a special bundle box.

it had a glossy face, like drawing on glass. but now its ded. and all the tablets i see nowadays are either fancy with a digital screen for a face, or that icky paper matte finish face that makes me shutter when drawing on.


anyone know of a reasonably affordable tablet with a sexy gloss face???? i cant get back to drawing till i get a new tablet

my drawing tablet served me well for 12 years and it died completing the last commission i posted.

a few years ago i DID get myself a backup tablet, for the day mine would finally pass on. but upon receiving it, (a newer version of my wacom tablet) i really didnt like it. my old tablet has a glossy face and i adored that. but the newer ones have a paper matte finish and it felt SUPER wrong when id make strokes on it. but, at the time. i couldnt find a exact copy of my old tablet. after all, it was an old model. i tried looking for like..some kinda gloss ad on to put on it? but nothing


ill be shoppin around for a new one. it looks like the specific type im after just doesnt exist anymore.



incidentally, my car also had to be in the shop for 4 days (and potentially more cause i dont think they fixed it right) so ill be taking up detailed sketch commissions.

i will ONLY be taking commissions one at a time for the time being. less stressful that way.

er...well, we got a ROOM in a house

after 5 months of looking we finnaly got a break. its a beautiful house, and its so close to my mates job, he would prolly WALK there lol




it was a "the stars alligned" sorta thing. see, yesterday we drove out to do paperwork for this other place we were persuing (this was our first genuine win, everywhere else we striked out) but we showed up, talked details, did a final walkaround for my boyfriend to see since i was doing the hunting.
it was pen in hand, contract on the table, and we were just beaming that we finnaly did it. but then i casually asked "oh by the wayyyy. we dont have cats or dogs, but...how do you feel about aquarium pets???like.....say, a gecko???" he was like ya ya thats fine. my mate gently nudged me and gave me a "now tell him about the python" glance. i tensed up, took a deep breath annnddd

and the second i said snake, it was over. i could physically FEEL that contract evaporating from the table. i tried to explain how harmless and sweet a ball python is. that it wasnt one of those giant snakes, it would be locked up, ect. but we were already too far gone. he said he didnt care, but his wife would (the landlord lived in the house). wife who didnt even live in the house. wife that wouldnt be in the US for a whole year. no haggling re-opened the opportunuty. man, i tried so hard to keep composure till we left the house and i just started cryin man. it was either the house or my baby, and i just couldnt do it. ive been uprooted so many times in my life and almost every times ive had to sell or give away my babies. i wasnt going to do it this time though, so me and my mate had a cry, got in the car and i took him to work.

but on that drive home, i was desperate for a new venue to persue. i was thinking about just goin home and bein sad and playin videogames the rest of the day but on the side of the road i started lookin and thats when i found this place. our new place.

it was late. after 8:30, but i called anyway. first ring, didnt answer. so i called again. and dude picked up, i set up to meet the very next morning. and he liked us. he WAS gonna give it to some other person but saw our need was greater. he checked us out, we passed all the prerequisites, and we signed the contracts today!!!

im thrilled to announce that this weekend we will be haulin stuff over, settling in. and startin the "living on our own" portion of our lives <3 <3 <3

it finally arrived, its hooked up, i got a wifi dongle for it and its set up. i made attempts to reinstall my art program but i dont think its gonna let me.
tho thankfully, it seems my 2017 version is 5 years old so now its VERY affordable and i might just buy a new copy and be done with it.

its 10pm right now so i cant do much else for tonight. but this is progress!

a shout-out to my buddy Keith for makin it happen for me, he was Integral in obtaining a computer so affordable for me and on such short notice. its supposedly even better than the one i was using before.

I'm happy to announce after a month of no answers, the movers finnaly brought my stuuufffffff. Well, most of it anyhow.


I'm not at my new place yet. For now I'm staying with my mates family. And bunking on a floor matress. The REAL apartment move is likely gonna be early to late july. If we can swing it, late june.

Just last night I dug out the art station setup and got everything plugged and set. My mouse's batteries however exploded during the move so I gotta wait a couple days for my new one to come it. But once it does, based on my mates sleep schedual and mine, I will only really have a roughly 3hr time span here and there to work on art. So wips will be coming, just a lil slower than usual.

Once were in our actual apartment tho, I will be back at full steam :3

Today was the big day, where the movers were to pick up my belongings and ship em off to my new destination. Plane tickets are bought, all arrangements made. And I, to the best of my abilities arranged the movers and vehicle hauling services.

Apparently the moving industry is RIFE with scammers and greedy lying brokers.

This undfortunately came to be the case. Not only did me and my mate fall prey to a broker with a massive down payment of 1,300 dollars but the movers showed up and the actual delivery fee was 3 times the amount we were estimated for.
Safeship grossly oversold just how much space the moving truck was gonna have for my belongings. So the movers actually show up and i expected to pay around 800 for pickup. I had to talk them DOWN to 2,000. And I will have to pony up an additional 2,000 when my stuff gets there.


And this isnt even considering the cost of getting my car transported.

Half my belongings are having to be left behind. I guess to be picked up at a later date. None of my furnishings or animal enclosures could go with me


To compensate for this egregious companies practices
Instead of only taking 5 small commissions for my next itinerary
I'm looking to take 5 larger scale commissions.
( we need 2,000 ideally altogether but any way we can get close to that number is good)

I have big plans to be moving to California in a month and a half.

we are currently in the process of hunting out a 3-4 bedroom house with good rent. Ill be living with my boyfriends family in march but We have a soft date of June for the move-in the new place. Time can be adjusted.


Currently the we are gonna go for a apartment Or House whichever one ends up being most reasonable. We will be getting a pet friendly place, but there may be an animal limit. Myself and my mate have a cat, 3 reptiles and plans for a small dog.

-Anyone looking to apply needs to be willing and prepared to have a job lined up before the move even happens so that transition would be seamless.

-Roomate MUST be LGBTQ friendly. Handicapped friendly

-no smokers

-i have a ptsd and general anxiety disorder diagnosis so any potential roomies can NOT bring drama or have anger issues.

-all rent and utilities will be evenly split.

-a degree of maturity is wanted. Clean up after yourself and dont mess communal space. We are all adults.
