more wasting of my goddamned time

to everyone thats watched me/commissioned me the last 3 years, knows that i had a hell of a time after my divorce and i became helplessly backed up with art work and to keep bills payed i had to make mountains of adoptables to sell to avoid taking on even more comissions which in turn kept me from spending time working on my owed art. doing so for the last some years has been infinitely draining, and had almost completely smothered my love for my work.

and my spinal/tailbone/wrist/neck issues just makes it harder to do work without even the backlog


so, i wanted to announce that when/if i get approved for SSI, i will be refunding (not all but most) of my commissions. and taking a hiatus to just draw for myself.



i know it may seem selfish of me to have had people waiting so long, only to refund it. but artisticaly, ive been fallin apart. id loath starting up my program. every peice just had to be smushed out of my pen.

and im making a new rule, that my workloads will now no longer exceed 7 commissions at a time. i never want to be so behind ever again. it was stressful, and sapped all the satisfaction for my work out of me.


i should be getting my SSI answer any day now. and if im approved, ill start contacting folks

now all thats left to wait for roughtly a month and see if i get approved or not

the burnout finnaly caught me. after 3 and ahalf years of major backlog



i didnt want to for a while, but im left with only one really viable option. start drawing for myself again. start stoking my artistic fires by allowing myself time to feed my OWN creativity. i always felt guilty before anytime id do something myself, and felt like my watchers would secretly hate me if i did but a good friend of mine is putting money behind my work so that i dont have to spend myself out on adopts ALL the fukin time and actualy do content that will get me somewhere

so now ill be doing a blend of commissions and personal art as well, and not have to flounder around with adopts to keep outta the poor house. so dont be surprised when you see more me stuff comin out


im hoping that this is what i need to get back to my A game i once had before the great "taking a million projects so i could afford to leave my husband" disaster of 2015

i dont know if others are having issues again, but i didnt get anything again this month


are they still having charge issues for anyone elsed?

myself and my friend were relatively new to the clan anyhow so it was a case of "we hardly knew you, and we want to be a smaller group"

well, the last few months my lower spine issues have been migrating into my tailbone and ive been working on finding a way to sit at my computer without suffering for it but as of the last couple days ive been bed ridden.
i have only been living here a month now so i still need to find a new primary doctor so i can get a new MRI and figure out whats going on and seek a solution.

for now tho, i need to find a long term solution for my sitting problem. im looking into alternative chairs right now, but what im most concerned for is making sure im able to keep working on my art so i can pay my bills


so for now, im gonna be pitching sales of my adopts from my bed till i can figure something out

i just went on my patreon to get my grocery muns and nothing is there??

and it says i have 0 patrons??


i think its weird all of them would vanish on the same day???

after having a meltdown over making sergals, i think....im going to temporarily close all sergal customs for the time being. im striving to try to take better care of my mental health and physical health, and i just need to step away from the sergal adopts for that
(not saying im not taking sergal commissions. those are fine, i just dont want to touch my sergal base atm)

but i DO still need to make some kind of adopts because that is how i avoid taking new commissions and getting re-backed up with work. adopts are what pays my bills, and allow me to keep my queue down. now, once i get SSI then im going to stop making adopts except for a few here and there. because once i have SSI i will have tottal freedom to just worked on all my owed art.

im putting priority right now on the YCHs, but as i find time ill make the new bases

over the last few years ive been playing catch up with my commissions. i just was never able to get back to steadyness since being with my ex husband and him ruining our finances.

the last five years ive been doing almost nothing but sergal adopts to generate income while i slowly chip away at my comm list.
and while i dont hate sergals in particular, just making serg adopts endlessly day in and out is killing away my artistic desires. ive tried making different adopt bases so i could get some variety but none were received well. the naga women, the betta dragons, i even just recently outsourced and bought a werewolf base all in attempts to variety up my adopts work but there is nearly no response to anything but sergals


please. im begging yall

tell me what adopts yall wanna see. list off your top 5 most wanted adopts, cause if i gotta keep on making sergals every single month my mojo is just gonna fucking die and all my art will suffer for it quality wise

the last 4 days ive been having alooot of unpacking to do. some of it just couldnt be unboxed till i had a place to put it so i found a local lady with a HUGE ass bamboo desk she wanted to be rid of and it gave me all the tabletop space for my reptiles and all the drawers i needed to put away my misc scraft shit and knick nacks. as of today my work desk is set up, my computer all arranged, my devices all located and my clusterfuck of chords all where they should be.

im spent...today was half art day half bed day.

still have like 3 large boxes worth of stuff to find places for but the bulk of my stuff is where it needs to be

and since im finding myself in the rare position that i dont have any bills till the 15th of next month. im gonna do owed commission work
for the next two weeks.

but so far, im loving the new place. NOT loving how cop heavy the area is tho, so far ive been pulled over twice
i really cant go on the road again untill i get my registration re-sent to me and i pony up the cash to get my right blinker and my left brake light looked at cause apparently i just got all kindsa lights goin out on me :/ as well as my right front light. like wtf.

a month ago i had like two solid weeks of trauma nightmares endlessly. to the point i was afraid to go to sleep, so i called my mental health provider in tears begging for them to find me a better sleeping solution. well, a few days later i got a pamplet for a sleep study place.

my appointment was on the 31st, and i attended it. they hooked me up to like 25 nodules for reading brain activity, movement, breathing, eye patterns ect.


today i went in to hear the results and turns out, ive got Sleep Apnea! who knew

so the sleep study place will be calling me again to set up another sleep study, where this time im gonna be hooked up to sleep with not just wires, but a PAP machine. a special one with mask hose and machine that will be remote controlled and throughout the night they will play with settings and intensity to see what i sleep best on. then when they got all the data they will actualy put in a order for a custom made sleep machine for me and from now on i have to wear it while i sleep to make sure im not suffocatin in my dang sleep



i remember what my grandfathers machine looked like and how loud it was. so i hope that the tech has evolved to be quieter and less bulky than back then

AS OF TODAY I NOW HAVE MY CAR, ITS REPAIRED, ITS PASSED INSPECTION AND I HAVE NOW PUT A 1 YEAR STICKER ON THE TAGS SO ITS ALL FUCKING GOOD TO GO AND IT WAS SO MUCH WORK BUT I MADE IT BEFORE THE DEADLINE AND IM ALL DONE AND READY FOR THE MOVEOUT!!!!!!!

as for the adopts. i THOUGHT i was gonna have a surplus of the loan left over since i found cheaper means to get my car set up, but i got a little carried away and felt i could safely get a bunch of things ive needed for a while, but havent had the cash for. like a new external hard-drive because mine is entirely filled up. or a new special neck pillow cause mine was actualy starting to degenerate. and a bunch of smaller things ive just put off for a while. but it added up fast and i almost wasnt able TO get my liscense stickers today. 80 dollars does not a good bank account make.

so im gonna make a few really nice sergal males to try to be sure i got money for food, my bills and my last month of rent. ill probably make like 4 and auction them for really fast speed sales of 24 hours

and last but not least, my moving day has been set.
on june 20th, at 9am. im packing up and moving OUT. so when i do move, expect me to be rather busy for a week whilst i unpack and get situated in my new place. not to say i wont be online, i dont need to pack my laptop in a box. just expect me to be back n forth from onine to moving in. <3
