its a 9 millimeter gangrenous cyst in my hand.

Posted 8 years agoin a few days im getting a MRI of my hand, since the xray showed nothing in my bones he wants to investigate it other ways. its also possible that this is just how my hand is gonna be from now on.
currently, my hand has kinda evened out. as in its not worsening but its not healing further. i cant flex my hand back or bear any weight with it. or twist. so my range of movement it limited, the tremors arent so bad now.
to keep up hand excersizings, every day for a few hours im working on a refined sketch of something. im not confident yet to use full lineart, and with the sketch tools i use the stabilizer feature looks better.

all the sketching exercizes have been culminating to two pictures. pictures of which ill be coloring later, and auctioning off. their lines are refined so dont worry, they dont look bad! just not as crisp as my usual stuff
buuuut i think yall will like em regardless
i just think from now on, i cant go on those hardcore nonstop art binges where i try to plow through tons of commission work, thats probably what did this all to beging with and i ignored my needs

it took me a week to do this one sketch, but im veerry carefuly cleaning it and souping it up to make it purchase worthy, and i think its something really special.

Posted 8 years agomy next doc appt is the 24th, in the meantime ive been doing hand exercises and ive been able to to a few hours of sketching a day. lots of short light strokes, still a bit of tremor issues, but im optimistic.

my current inability to draw aside (even then i may try to force some adopt colorings) income is thin.
with it being winter, my roomate isnt bein called in much to his on-call job at the water company.
mamma works salary so cant make more
and me = outta order
ive sold all the things i can, ive sold some personal characters, belongings. ive pulled all my strings i got.

for over a month now, ive been having medical troubles with my wrists. ive been going to doctors and trying different ways to remedy my injury. Ive had electrode testing for carpal tunnel, ive been given concentrated potassium tablets, and ill be going in again soon to try some other things. while all this is happening i cant draw anything, and art is my only income. i am hoping that my wrists can be remedied sooner rather than later, but until then we need help making sure the bills are payed and groceries are in the house.
this isnt particularly how i wanted to bring in the new years, and ive been working very hard in order to get my buisness back at full speed but this bump was unavoidable.

Posted 8 years agoso, after shaking the metaphorical pressure tree long enough. the guy with the stolen purple sergal finally stopped evading and sat down calmly and spoke with me.
we were able to come to an amicable peace where we both got resolution.
rather than lay out the entire convoluted process (and beleive me, this was waaaay more complex than it needed to be)
ill summarize
we made good, and eventually, he did give up the seller who sold him the stolen sergal. it took 4 days and alot more trouble than necessary but the real thief is now found.
so i dont want people harassing him in the future, me and him cleared the whole thing up
-and a little note to the real owner of the sergal design that was taken
he is fortfitting the ripped design, so you dont have to worry.
me and him made a deal and he is getting a different one

i made the yellow green design not long ago, and sold it to someone. that design has an owner. yesterday i was notified by another artist on FA that some guy on FB named Márton Schmidt (who mods banned last night for his actions) tried to commission her to do art of the purply sergal.

she knew my art and suspected it stolen and i confirmed it with her. i confronted him and he was immediately defensive and dodged my questions, at first i even gave him the benefit of the doubt.

he spoke to me with no interest in other than telling me it belonged to him and i just should basically go away and its his. I asked for information about the "seller" he claims gave it to him. but when i asked about the mystery seller he had all kinds of excuses to give me. saying he doesnt remember, that he didnt have access to the PayPal he used anymore because its his dads and hes a "big important buisness man". then doing the "oh i dont understand english well".

we had a long back and forth that resulted in me publicly asking if anyone had information about this kid. i was then supplied with his FA, DA, and even the knowledge that his girlfriend is a well known art theif as well. also evidence of lying on his profiles about his age (before he took down his FB photos you can see clearly he is around 12 years old).

as i started accumilating information he went tottaly nuclear and began spiraling the interaction into trying to scare me off, but since im not born YESTERDAY i knew he was trying to get out of the situation by feigning suicide.

Posted 8 years agoso the concentrated potassium did nothing for my wrists, so im gonna be going back to the doctors again to see what other treatments he has in mind. im thinking of suggesting we try treatments for arthritis this time, as almost ALL my joints are in pain now, so it seems a worthy course of action

one of my friends gave me one of those electro therapy things where you put two nodes on, and it sends pulses between them. its not helping my hands, but it worked AMAZING on my neck problems. ive never had so much range of motion in my neck and it feels so nice
so while im not seein progress in anything else, MY NECK FEELS GREAT, so ill take that victory.

Posted 8 years agoalmost a month ago my hands/wrists have gotten to the point where i had to take a break from drawing/crafting alltogether in an attempt to let them rest and get better, but so far im still having trouble..i tried to draw again recently and my hands tremble, making it impossible to ensure quality.
im seeing doctors, taking meds, and genneraly experimenting to find a proper way to deal with my issues but till then i have no way whatsoever to make any money at all. to pay my bills, to get groceries, to buy misc. needs.

Posted 8 years agothe day before yesterday i went back to my neurologist with the xrays of my wrist and MRI of my neck and she says its not come back with anything
im considering going to get a second opinion elsewhere, but Dr Karjal has given me a weeks supply of these high concentrated pottassium pills and told me to call in a week and see if its helped any
as far as art goes, ive tried to do some work, but my hand has a tremble to it now. so to maintain art quality im gonna wait till the end of the week of my meds and see if i can draw steadily then
ill keep yall posted on my hands

ive been pretty silent online for a while lately, and its because typing isnt even comfortable to me right now.
a few days ago i went to a neurologist to look at my hands/wrists to find out whats going on. good news is i dont have carpel tunnel. bad news, she didnt know what it WAS.
she either suspects its connected to my neck issues, or that years of walking with forearm canes ive worn something out, next week i am schedualed to go to radiology and get xrays and an MRI to investigate further, till then im strapped up in wrist braces.
im really anxious about this..art is my life and my livelyhood and one of my biggest fears is my drawing hand having to be retired.
so im hoping that its an easy fix and i can get back to my daily habits. i miss talking with my friends, i miss drawing and i dont know what to do with myself all day having minimal use of my hands
please be patient with me as im seeing doctors and trying to fix this

even my sleep issues
the last half year ive been seeing alot more deterioration of my conditions and its currently to the point where im taking a sabbatical from my art because its more stress than my wrists can handle. ill be going in to be seen for it next week, and depending on whats going on, i could need surgery.
but again. thats up to the doctor to decide.
im also experiencing burning hot numbness in my thighs, which my new primary says is either a result of my back, or my weight. i have so much going on with my health, but hopefuly a few things can be adressed then.
because of my inability to draw RIGHT this moment, i am looking around on craigslist to find some kinda work. if anyone of you lives in southern maryland, has some extra cash and a house that needs cleaning/organizing/cooking shoot me a note. i babysit, i petsit, i can keep your elderly family memebers company. im open to suggestions

psychological lapse

trauma nightmares have been plauging me, ill wake up sobbing or screaming, im having trouble falling asleep, im not sleeping well and its making me hyper anxious

you are obligated to give me your paypal within 30 minutes of making said claim.
or else you forfit your hold
because this is becomming an issue now. and this is a personal peeve of mine. where people pop in and say "hey ill buy"
then im like "yeashure. whats your paypal so i can invoice you"
but then they vanish for hours/days to;oh i dont know. go jog a cross state marathon or something.....
ive been left hanging before, and what this does isnt just mildly inconveniant or annoying. it also hurts my buisness.
because if you leave me waiting, other potential buyers could come up and i have to decline them because im waiting on you. someone who im not even sure is ever gonna answer me back.
and if you decide later to not buy at all, you've permanently hurt my chances to resell, because reposts never get the same attention the second time around. now i have twice as hard a time to sell it.
and also, the time i am sitting and refreshing my page every minute waiting for you to answer is time i could be using to actually work on buisness.
so if you have the time to comment you want it, then you have the time to also note me your paypal at the same time.

Posted 8 years agoso. ive been feelin like shit the past couple days so i treated myself to a lil $13 starter quill set that came with a quill, a small container of ink, and a small container of quill cleaner. and i put tip to ink to paper and i immediately fell irravokably in love
it was a magical moment, the second the ink began flowing smooth and thick. it sparked something in me that i think ive been neglecting for a long time. my love for traditional art.
since i started commissions, i went full digital as traditional was far more laborous and id have to regularly buy new materials. but this...this shall be just for me. my secret delight. im going to be an ink master
so that brings me to my questions
what quill heads aught i get in the future? i have a fine tip right now but i did see there were other types.
what is the best ink brand? i have a lil black one branded Dr.Ph. Martin's. it seems good to me but ive no frame of reference.
if i got a black sketchbook, could i get white ink and write on it? i dont know how ink seeps or soaks. so i dont wanna waste money and time if its not gonna show up on the black paper
and lastly. if you arent a Quiller anymore. might you still have ink laying around you dont use anymore?? ink is apparently like $9-12 per JAR. and i aint able to drop 50 bucks on a few jars of ink right this second. would you be willing to donate your old inkwells to someone new into the inkworld??
also, hints or other info i may need!
