my Patreon has reached its $300 goalmarker, which brings the comic back up into action
(mind you, the comic itself is still free, the reason my patreon affects OBAWS productivity is because i am a digital artist for a living. and obaw's production is dependant on my free time)


so, on top of OBAW's great ressurection, there will be a character changing with the "shitty boyfriend" character.
i am no longer on good standing with the owner of that sona, so i did a recasting. ill also be tweaking the prior pages to reflect the new boyfriend, so dont be confused if you see the dragon gone! no you arent crazy!

and i will be re-working the previous pages he appeared in so all the illustration is cohesive.
so, when the comic starts back up, evil ex will now be a dark grey wolf.

i was in an abuisive marriage, and i fled halfway across the country since it was my only option available to me. plans i made with the people there fell through, and i was stranded without a home for a month.

in a effort to promote my Patreon account, ive decided to make a SPECIAL new status for my watchers

im still working on coming up with incentives for my patrons, and those that give their support to my works.

i update my comics when i can, but THIS is a way that YOU, my viewers can make it happen more often and faster

okay, so as of now i am not getting foodstamps anymore.

this means we have to come up with $300+ a month now on our own. we are now deemed making "too much" to get assistance and because of this. i am temporarily discontinuing projects that are considered "freebies"

meaning i am not taking trades
i am halting my "of black and white" comic till further notice
no gift art
no contests

any trades i have previously agreed to i want to say i am canceling, because right now we JUST make our bills. only just.
we have no spare funds for food, so i cannot afford to exhert any of my time anymore to projects that arent bringing in income.
i might rarely do art for myself, but aside from a rare personal day i am only taking buisness related work.

we wont be eating otherwise.

also, a few people have paid $5 to get to be featured in my black and white comic. i want to say right now that if you WANT to stay with it you can. but you now have the option to get a refund. because i dont know when i can start it back up again, im really really going to have to crack down on my work to keep food in the house. so if you want your $5 back, speak now and ill give it back.
and im sorry. i didnt want this to happen, but its out of my control.


im still closed for commissions but i urge people to consider my adopts or spread the word of my adoptables. i do make customs of them as well. on my pain profile  kaprikaaz

i was in a car accident a week ago, so ive been bedridden and hospitalized since.
im still working on recovery, and im not ready just yet to get back to work. but i promise that ill make extra pages when im back to make up for the missed upload days.

ive had a few people ask me "if your comic is donation fueled" (meaning makes more page uploads a week)
how much gets me how much??


well, i thought about it. and for every $5 i get, that week ill upload an extra page.
and if i get too many donations for one week, ill bump them into the next week (i cant make like 10 pages a week or something)
