Stupid hotmail.
General | Posted 17 years agoWell, my email account got hacked today. I swear I'm never going to use hotmail again. So now I've lost a bunch of emails and my MSN account. I now have to go around all through my bookmarks and change everything I had registered to it. I emailed hotmail but I don't expect much help there. So now I'm looking around trying to find any other email that is compatable with MSN so I can get another friends list on it. Bit of a short journal entry here, but yeah. Oh and also I got this interesting little email today from valve about my Team Fortress 2 account.
Hi.
Yesterday, we reset your Medic achievements because we mistakenly believed you had hacked around the system to get them. Today we discovered a bug in our code that resulted in you being incorrectly flagged as cheating. As a result, I'm emailing you to apologize for our error, and to let you know that we've decided to award you the full set of Medic achievements.
Have fun with the Ubersaw,
Robin Walker.
So yeah, that was awesome for TF2, I guess. Don't have to bust my ass trying to get achievments now. Oh and yeah, that email was in my backup account I used to filter spam. Guess that's all to say for now.

A true classic series.
General | Posted 18 years agoSo yesterday I was out checking out a new PC and Console video game store that opened. I went there to price check Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity compared to Wal-Mart when I saw something incredible. Sitting right there on the PC shelf, sandwiched between Crysis and The Orange Box was something that almost brought me to tears from joy. The King's Quest Collection. That's right, Sierra's biggest hit adventure series before they got bought out. And I'm talking the proper King's Quest games. Mask of Eternity can kiss my ass. If anyone doesn't know what the King's Quest series is, shame on you...SHAME! Turn off your World of Warcraft and whatever FPS action game you are playing and try these games out. They're from back when playing a game required a functional brain. I wouldn't call them educational, but they are bordering on intellectual. Take for instance this one puzzle from the first game. There is a gnome spinning straw into gold and he wants you to guess his name. Say it right and you get what you need to progress, get it wrong and you still continue, but you get the crap ending. His name is not what you think. No clues at all, you have to figure out that his name is Rumplestiltskin backwards, using a backwards alphabet. Reverse the name, then take the actual alphabet and reverse it, then rewrite his name. Meh, whatever. Seriously, go get these games and play them as soon as possible. They are the greatest adventure games there are. Story wise, I would say start with the first one, but if you want to settle in slowly to the game type, start with number Six or Seven. But I tell yeah, I was so happy when I brought this home that I almost went to sleep holding the box. Now go get the game series, play it, enjoy it. And if you don't like the series, well I'll just have to cut out your eyes because you don't know a good game when you see it. ^_^
Some info
General | Posted 18 years agoOk first off, I have yet to hear one person say Kardrack properly. People are constantly trying to say it on Team Fortress 2 and Counterstrike: Source over the microphone and it's just shameful. I've heard people say Kardiac, Karderak, Kar-derak, and even Kardurok. Look, it's not gonna sound like it looks because I say it with my accent. (Hispanic Portuguese if you are wondering.) It's more like Karhd drahk and you gotta roll the Rs a little bit. Also, In-character wise, no. Kardrack is not my fursona's name, just an alias. This info's to some folks I role-play with sometimes. His real name is simply my name. And folks that can't say Kardrack over mic, just say Kard. It's so much easier.
I guess it was gonna happen eventually.
General | Posted 18 years agoI've had my junk on photobucket and DA for a while now, so I guess it was about time to move my stuff to FA. Also I guess people nagging me to post my stuff here may have influenced it a bit. I don't intend to draw anything new unless something really inspires me somehow and my stuff pretty much all blows anyway. Ah well, maybe someday I'll put something else here or maybe one of the short stories I've written.
