So I thought of a new character today while at work.

She is a combination of things found on the coat of arms of the countries that my family came from. So, Ireland, Poland, and Czechoslovakia. Got the idea when I saw this pic http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12414666/ and got curious and looked up the other countries. Which are as follows:

Info: Karma Doubotsuai was a friend of the grand King Philip, and is now a good friend of his son. She lost one son as a still birth, and two in the great war of the false king, during which she was pregnant with Reed, and held captive by the dark king himself! She was hailed as a hero upon her return after staring death in the face, apparently wounding the bastard king when he beligerantly killed someone's mate for no reason except his own enjoyment. She disliked the attention she recieved, not wanting to outshine her own, and much more heroic children who died to deliver her species. It is because of her that the species Akuchi Dragon was renamed Karma Dragon.

Her father killed himself when she was young, throwing himself under a train to end his poor, depressive life. She has nothing but the upmost respect for him, and would defend his honor to the death. She has had many mates, and nearly as many children, proving her fertility. Her kids call her one hell of a mother, and if their track record is any indication, this rings true by and by. Family as a concept is number one to her.

Artist's thoughts: Karma is me. She has my history and background, but all the mates, children, and a few other things don't apply to me completely. I care for her more than I realize, I believe. That being said, both times that I was going to drop the dragons and stop drawing this shit, it was Tweak who saved his species.

She's as tall as I am, but I'm heavier than her, so in some respects she is what I want to be. I do have two brothers and two sisters, and my father died by his own will, exactly as I described and drew (well...I did use some artistic license, I wasn't there after all...).

I tend to torture Karma with things, and I do it to myself too. When I was in high school, I used to draw her killing herself a lot. I did it because I felt like doing it, but I wasn't brave enough. Karma gives me the ability to work things out without anyone really getting hurt.

Would that make her my therapist? That's kind of fucked up.

Wolf Fruit - a sweet fruit shaped like a wolfs head, the attached leaves look like ears; they grow in "packs", which range from five to nine individual fruits. They are about the size of a plum.
Connor Ale - Amber colored ale in white bottles with blue lettering; owned by some lucky fox named Connor .
Akuchi Dragons a.k.a. Karma Dragons
A furred reptile. Equally comfortable on two legs or four. They possess large ears, which are usually held in a relaxed position at the sides of the head, though they can become fully erect, and are used mostly to express emotions. They are covered in fur and also have longer fur on their head and tail, the former of which can be styled as they see fit. Some however, do not grow the longer hair on one or both places, and others still cut it off. Depending on the weather, their coat is thicker or thinner, with some choosing to shave themselves comepletly in the heat. They are the most numerous species on the planet, and have formed a peaceful union with most other groups.
Furries[Which includes all animal groupings, except those listed otherwise.]
Furries are named for their most numerous members, the Mammals, but their kin include Birds, Reptiles, Amphibians, Fish, Insects and any hybrid thereof. There is also the Unknown Brethren, which consists mostly of a few odd species which contain five or less individuals total.
Dinosaurs
Dinosaurs are a dying breed as it were. Though they number many more than the Awls, they equal far less than any of the other tribes on this planet. Some species are on the verge of extinction, with ten or less individuals remaining.
Scaled Dragons
Twin-crested Green Dragon
A flying reptilian species. They have the large wings required for flight. Two rear legs with three toes foreward, one up and back, rest on the end of powerful legs. They possess a three-pronged, webbed crest on each side of their heads, which usually betrays their feelings. Their tails are long, but not capable of grasping. They are larger than any other species on the planet, and tend to throw their weight around.
Two-horned Red Dragon
Rather small dragons that glide more often than truly flying. They are only a little larger than Akuchi Dragons, if that. They are not as aggressive as the other two species of scaled dragons, and had been communicating with other tribes of the world, much to the dismay of thier larger kin. They are essentially erradicated by the end of the first great war. Youngblood is the last.
Short-tailed Black Dragon
The most vicious dragons. More than twice the size of Two-horned Reds, but not even half the size of Twin-crested Greens. They are fast and fierce, blue flamed firebreathers. Their tails are short, reaching about halfway down their feet and never touching the ground when they stand upright. They have a pair of "asswings" which serve two purposes; to make themselves appear larger in times of defense, and to cool down their insides after using their firey weapon. They number about as many as the Awl clan, and were nearly all wiped out by the time the disease started to spread. Thirk, a warrior, stands out.
Awls
Awls are an avian species. They have sharp beaks and talons. Feathers stop halfway down their forearms and run down to, but do not cover, the rear feet. They have scalie wings, and a line of spikes running down their long, non-prehensile tails. They are not very great in number compared to the other species on the planet. They live in caverns, big enough for a male, female, and their chicks. They number only in the thousands, but their ferocity more than makes up for that. They hold massive pit battles and public executions of prisoners, both of their own kin and of those unlucky enough to have been abducted by them. When an Awl has betrayed his flock, he will be marked as a traitor through the slashing of a lower-case "t" on his forehead. He will then be de-spiked; a process in which the tail-spikes will be pulled out one at a time as he screams in undying agony. He will then be hung from a pillar by the entrance of the grand arena, left to bleed to death as members of his breathren curse and insult him, spit on him, perhaps even throw things at him. The leader of the Awl clan wears jewelery made of the spikes of those executed, and also those of previous kings.
