MFM (First Con)
Posted 4 years agoSo, for the longest, I've always said I wouldn't plan to actually go to a convention until I got a suit first to maximize the fun I'd have there. I know you don't need one to enjoy yourself, but obviously having one would make it all the more fun. But, I'm in a city now that will actually be hosting one (MFM) so it would be a good idea for me to just swing by and get a little experience under my belt I feel. It'd be the cheapest con I could attend since I wouldn't need a hotel and I already know where I'd want to go out to eat (likely just back to my apt, haha). So this will be the first con I actually attend, despite not having a suit yet. Let me know if you'll be there too, if for some reason you come across this journal and decide to give it a read.

As a vore lover myself, I still must say, however, that's a hard no from me. I don't care the reason, I will never be okay with that method of vore...

Posted 5 years agoSo, it's been a while since I've really done anything for my watchers here, and somehow I'm still steadily getting more people stalking me despite my inactivity on FA these days. But any who, I think I'm gonna host another little duo commission with one of my stalkers here. Would feel bad to end my birthday month without doing anything. So, simply give yourself a number and post your ref below. I'll give it to about July 5 before a selection is made, and I'll discuss details of the commission with the lucky winner. 500 Watcher Raffle Special
Posted 7 years agoYeah, I hit 500 watches some time ago, but never had the money for one of these up until this point. So I was never able to properly thank everyone the way it seems people are thanked here, by throwing free art in your faces, haha. I recall making a journal long ago saying I would eventually do this, but no idea where that went. Might have deleted it back when I had planned to quit the fandom. Who knows. But any who... Yea~! 500 watchers!! Honestly hadn't noticed I had this many 'til now. Must say, didn't think I'd ever get that many people watching me. But I'm sure no one wants to here me ramble about that. So let's get down to business.
I'm sure you all know how this works, make a post, get a number, and in a week or so I'll draw for the winner. Easy. But, now for the rules:
1. Only my CURRENT watchers are welcome to join. No new watchers for this one, sorry. Giving priority to those that have been here from the start. Don't worry, if you came after 500, you're still eligible.
2. There will only be one entry per person.
3. You must have a picture reference of your sona/character you'll be using.
4. Don't bug me about updates regarding the raffle. Not sure when I'll actually get to commissioning this, depends on how much it'll cost. You won't have to pay anything yourself. I got it covered. This is a thank you after all.

Posted 8 years agoSo, I was inactive on FA for a good bit, about 2 months to be exact, and let my submissions build up, as I have done in the past. It wasn't as bad as the previous time, I believe it was 13k the last time I let it build up. This time it was only 7k. But rather than nuking them all like last time, I went through and cleared them all one by one to fave the pics I like as I would normally. And I must say, I'm very glad I did. Was a lot of art worth looking through.

Posted 8 years agoYeah, that's right, I'm 24 now for those wanting to keep track. And for those that don't care, well...YOU GET TO KNOW ANYWAY! NOW WORSHIP ME ON MY DAY OF BIRTH! Yes, I was born, not hatched for those who pay more close attention to my dragon. I was not actually born a dragon so. Shocking I know.
CHARACTER UPDATE! (An important Journal for once)
Posted 8 years agoSo, if you look at my werewolf reference sheets, you'll notice a few difference. First off, I did a little touch-up on the coloring so it's a little more smooth and I added paw padding color. But, bragging aside, the main focus here is that I have more tattoos and I have a name change. I've been trying to move away from the random Japanese word-names for a while now. And I've finally found something I'm comfortable with using as a name. Rotag Zyqarri. I will mainly be going by RJ, though. That will be my nickname, the "J" coming from Jr. Yes, I'm a Jr.
Rotag is Native American meaning "born of fire" and Zyqarri is African meaning "angel". As you can see, I'm still keeping my fire and angel theme. For those that weren't aware, Kashou Tenshi was supposed to mean Burn Angel. It might not have, though, given I just Google-translated the words I wanted to use in Japanese. Odds are they weren't good for actual people names apart from Tenshi. But anyway, yeah, my name should mean something along the lines of me being an Angel Born of Fire.
Now, for the explanation on the four tattoos across my body. Rather than going with random tribal markings and making my sona unnecessarily complicated, I opted to just get a few tattoos that help distinguish me from others and best represent me. In order from left to right as displayed by the tattoo reference log below the color log, they are as follow:
NSOROMMA
"child of the heavens [stars] "
- symbol of guardianship
- A reminder that God is the father and watches over all people.
HYE WON HYE
"that which does not burn "
- symbol of imperishability and endurance
- This symbol gets its meaning from traditional priests that were able to walk on fire without burning their feet, an inspiration to others to endure and overcome difficulties.
SESA WO SUBAN
"Change or transform your character "
- symbol of life transformation
- This symbol combines two separate adinkra symbols, the "Morning Star" which can mean a new start to the day, placed inside the wheel, representing rotation or independent movement.
AKOFENA
"sword of war "
- symbol of courage, valor, and heroism
- The crossed swords were a popular motif in the heraldic shields of many former Akan states. In addition to recognizing courage and valor, the swords can represent legitimate state authority.

My Unfriendly Quirks (For those trying to get to know me)

Just be patient with me. It takes a lot for me to open up to anyone and actually show I have some form of emotions.
Alright, so I feel I should make something like this explaining how I am about friends, or rather people in general, since I do sometimes get people that approach me and actually want to get to know me but I'm sure I end up pushing them away because of my apparent personality. While the core of my personality is extremely kind and caring, as I would hope it would be for anyone, it takes A LOT for anyone to get to that part of me and, on the surface, I will ALWAYS appear distant and overall grumpy. However, this DOES NOT mean I don't want to talk to you or get to know you. It's just how I am with anyone I don't already consider a close friend. And even then I do that to them all the time. But they like it when I act like a grump who doesn't want attention so. With that said, if you don't like someone who doesn't bluntly say how much they care or always shower you with affection, you probably shouldn't try to be my friend in the first place because that's not my style. I will always care for my friends, but I'm not going to say it 24/7 as I see most would like for me to do.
The other problem with me is that I've never marked myself as a good conversationalist. I will always try to respond if I can, if a feel there's a response to actually be made that isn't just one word, but apart from that, in the fandom, I've always been a Weredragon of action. RP has been the thing I've lived for for a long while, before I eventually lost interest. So I always let my actions do the talking as I was a bit on the antisocial side of the spectrum. But that also mean, since I don't really RP anymore, it's near impossible for anyone to get close to me like how it was in the past. I'm trying to get back into the RP scene but my overall laziness and lack of motivation prevents me from doing so. But if you really want to keep me talking, you just gotta push for it and find something that peeks my interest for a conversation. (If you just try asking what I like, you'll likely get short-worded responses.)
My final quirk, that I don't really even think is an actual quirk but definitely something worth mentioning, and it's actually a two-parter note, when I am actually starting to befriend you, I don't expect for me to always be the one to have to approach you for a conversation or whatever. If it gets to this point, I will legit stop going to you first and wait for you to message me first. It's my weird way of seeing how much the other person actually cares, even though I know it's not the best way to go about things since everyone is different when it comes to interacting with others, as I've discovered over the years. But all the same, I don't want to feel as I'm the one doing all the work in a friendship scenario, if we're already close enough to be considered friends. The second part of this, if you approach me first and we don't know each other, don't expect for me to push a conversation forward because I won't. If you came to me, I assume you took some interest in me. So show me why you did and why I should want to be you friend and talk to you. Most of the time I get people that talk to me for maybe a few minutes, then they disappear when they see I'm not the most talkative person. Very few push past that. I take that as a sign that I wasn't worth your time in your eyes.
But yeah, these are the major quirks I have that prevent me from making friends. Just thought I'd make mention of them for the future people that try and get to know me, not that I expect it to help you on your quest of befriending this weird dragon-wolf-werewolf beast. But at least you'll know what to expect so. Do I expect to even get more friends by this point? Mm....not really, honestly. Do I think I'm worth befriending? Well, depends on what it is you seek from a friend. To some I'm the best friend you could ever find. Some even say I'm far too good of a friend. But others say I have problems and they can't be around me so.... As I said, just depends on what you're wanting.
It should be noted I'm the type that doesn't like to surround himself with a mass of people, nor do I like having friends that already have a mountain of friends they try and talk to. That just makes me feel like another number, despite what you may say on it. I've always been more closely attached to people that have very few friends, if any at all as I had a knack for finding people that can't ever keep friends like me, and then we bond and stay close. But people that have to divide their time between so many people, we don't get along well.
So what am I looking for now, exactly, some of you may ask? Well, I'm still open to RP, but it'll be EXTREMELY hard to get me back into it. But I'm mostly just wanting to find a friend I can do things with other than only RP. Again, I love RP, but I don't want that to be the only thing we have to do together. I've learned that friendships like that don't last long, or at all if I'm not in an RP mood. I would like to have someone that enjoys doing the same things like gaming and watching shows or videos. So we'd have other things to do and talk about.

Each Monday I'm gonna to post a random song that I feel will get you through the week.
