A handsome little boy-- Riz and I named him Ivaan. :)
He was born on 4/29/12 at approx 10:20pm (I can't remember the exact time as I was ill at the time).
Hes roughly 4 weeks (1month) early... birth weight was 6lbs 11oz, Hes the picture of perfection, if you ask me.
Now, I mentioned I was ill... and basically... the whole reason he was born so early is from my being ill. I have this... tear on my uterus, which lead to my amniotic fluid leaking out and becoming infected (filled with bacteria). This condition is rare-- VERY few women get it. :( Too bad ANY women get it... no one should have to go through that. Due to the fluid getting all icky, my body more or less went into shock. I couldn't even really hold down water, was running a fever (hit at 102.8 before they took him from me).
This means that I will probably NEVER have another child because it puts me at too much risk... Which kinda sucks, I'd have liked at least one more kid, but... I do have a precious little boy to keep me busy, so thats a plus, right?

Then find out that the father? The guy I've been living with? Yep, hes cheating on me. Always makes things better.

I want to go back to Arkansas. :/ At least then I don't have to worry about why someone gets in from work then vanishes for 2-3 hours.
I wouldn't feel so... hidden and alone all the time, either.
If I go, he gets stuck with medical bills for the pregnancy up to where I am now... If I don't go, I think I'll go nuts trying to hide from his mother because he doesn't want his family to know about his "mistake".
And he says he "loves me". Fuck that noise.

Holiday Traditions

For me, its definitely listening to Trans-Siberian Orchestra-- I have to listen to them the last few days before Christmas... My family always opened gifts on Christmas Eve, starting with my dad and grandpa (because thats their birthday!) and then everyone else got to open stuff after that. :) One thing I always loved was how my dad got us all beef jerky and a can of Cheez-Whiz. Just isn't Christmas without it!

Posted 13 years agoNot sure how many of you have heard of this, but theres a new website out there (BallBids.com) AUCTIONING ball pythons for pennies on the dollar. Many of us have called them out as a scam and they're now attacking all members of the community, regarding us as morons.
Those of you who feel this is no big deal, think about what this could mean to us as a whole: We already have PETA and USHS breathing down our necks and trying to ban our animals, claiming we see them as nothing more than a commodity. How do you think they'll see this penny auction? We need to get this handled and fast before things get waaay out of hand.

Its an egg-shaped thing on a cord thats attached to a remote, which you use to set the vibration speed. The lightest setting is more than enough for me, but we felt adventurous and went with the highest setting... then added in some romping... at the same time. Lets just say... ladies, beware. MAY cause rolling orgasm. I had NO idea how to deal with it. So, in that respect, I tip my hat to Rizel. You were right, dear. >> (Last time I'll say those words. Ever.)

Posted 14 years agoToday is the 2 year anniversary of the house fire that took the lives of both my grandmother and my aunt.
Something I've realized on here is that people tend to get all bent out of shape over things that are relatively small... rather than to be thankful for the things they do have.
I'll admit to whining/complaining on here; I realize people need to vent... but I find it utterly disrespectful to the people who care for you to say that "your life is over", etc etc... Basically, if you don't want to actually talk about it, why say anything in a public area? Can't you write in a RL diary and get the same effect, minus the people asking, "Whats wrong? D:" and trying to get you to talk about it? (Sorry if you take this personally, I see too many of these journals, and I do feel the need to say something.)
If you genuinely feel that your life is over, look around... realize that there is plenty to live for-- you just have to actually stand up on your own two legs and keep moving. No sense in sitting and dwelling on the past-- the past won't change. You're the one who has to get up and be a stronger person.
I feel like I've grown so much in the two short years since the death of my grandmother-- When she passed away, I remember that she and I were NOT on speaking terms... I had gone so far as to tell her I never wanted to see her again. That still haunts me to this day, because I could have been a better person and just told her that I loved her and was simply angry with her... but instead, I wanted to make her hurt. And I did... I just didn't realize that she would no longer be in my life at all come the next day. I went through the biggest battle of my life after that... I felt absolutely AWFUL... I thoroughly considered suicide... but what would that do? Nothing. It wouldn't bring back the two people who died... and would have likely killed my dad. He had just lost the only 2 people in his family (parents, siblings, etc) that he had anything much to do with, and losing his first child would certainly not help.
So, again, I ask... what in the world REALLY makes a person think life is over? Loss of a pet? Debt? These things are small and temporary... unfortunate, but manageable. Please think of the people who care for you when you get into these moods...

How do you respond to someone you know has cheated on you multiple times, says they want to make everything "right", while adding more and more girls, texting them at all hours of the night and talking about sex with them? It makes me uncomfortable, but he thinks this is perfectly fine, even after I've said it makes me uneasy and I'd rather him NOT do it. He says its an "easy topic to talk about" and that its "just talk."
Hell, I wish he gave me HALF the time he puts into those other girls. He comes home and onto the computer he goes, then sits up until some ungodly hour before coming to bed, by which time, I'm already long-since asleep.
I don't know what to do anymore... and to be honest, I don't know if I even WANT to be here at this point. >. <

Burt needs surgery. He is not my dog but he is a close friend's dog. He is otherwise healthy but he tore ligaments in both his legs. Surgery is going to cost $2000 and that is only for one leg. The truth of it is, she may not be able to afford this even with help. The bill at this point is going to be overwhelming. She has a job but that is a lot of money to suddenly have to pay and Burt can not walk at all at this point.
I'm offering sketch commissions: 5$ for icons, 10$ for character sketches, 30$ for colored sketchwork and anything else can be negotiated. These are my standard commission prices but the money will be donated, all of it. Donations on the site are trackable, so my friend can verify what was donated and by whom. Even if you can only donate a dollar, I will draw you something.
If you can't donate, but are willing to pass this along, please do. Keep in mind if I am overwhelmed by donations (i don't expect it but I'll still put the disclaimer here) there will be a "waiting period" because I do have a full time job and a household to keep up with. Either way, give your pet a hug. You never know when its going to be time to say goodbye.
Won't you help or spread the word so the poor pup can have a better chance at getting the surgery it needs? :c
