Welp, it's official, my gaming laptop is little more then a glorified paperweight now since I can't get into it without breaking it and I don't have the money to take it to a professional.

Turns out the issue isn't with the power source but something internal.

Seeing as I'm broke for at least another year, that means I won't even have a chance to repair or get a new one for that long.

So much for getting the will to draw with a working laptop.

While I am happy that FA is back, the outage did at least get me to draw again...

and yes, I'm an owl... it would take to long to explain and it's very personal reason, but am a screech owl now.

Gremlins are taking over my account!!!!




Ok, I kid, the only Gremlin here is me XD which is what this journal is all about... it seems that we finally pined down just what I am and boy was it a suprise. A Gremlin, no not one of those little buggers from those movies, but an honest to goodness modern mythical creature called a Gremlin.

Gremlins, the fae of the modern world, the mechnically inclined spirits that were never given a proper form by those who first encounted it yet we all can identify one when seen, that kind of gremlin. Sure, the growing pains were tough, we tend to break more then we fix, but that's just how engineering goes when you have to figure it all out for yourself. Like seriously, there is a reason why the gremlin encounters have become relatively isolated to the early days of different technology. By the time I was born, most the mechanical stuff had been figured out, so I got to play with the new fangled home computers growing up... I can't tell you how many times I broke something either hardware or software while experimenting with them, but I'm pretty confident in the hardware aspect now... soft ware is still, wishy washy oops I borked it again.

Anyways, that was the main point of this journal, informing that I'm a gremlin, I can shapeshift as all chaotic gnomish fae can for some reason, and I'm hoping to get into drawing more so I can make more gremlins to fill my account with...

After getting a lot of my life and mind to a better state... I've decided to delete my current inkbunny account, as trying to undo all the old cub art favorites I had done from the unhealthy fetishization of my little nature... was just impossible.

So, I'm just wiping it clean out right.

I'm not leaving inkbunny, as I like to fallow some artists on multiple sites so that I don't accidnetally miss some of their work because one site's watch folder got too crowded... but it won't be through the old account.

Instead I'm going to start fresh with a new inkbunny account in about 3 days (after the original is wipped in 2 days)

I'm still a little, but I'm a healthy little now, nothing but cuddles and cuteness when I'm in little mode... like I was meant to be XP

also trying to start drawing more... still having trouble but... I have ideas, lots of ideas for cute drawings and even a complete overhaul of my one original species creation... hopefully I can actually get it to paper...

Well... that was interesting... so after much testing with becoming very very very very relaxed, we have discovered what my kind's natural form is... and it's rather bizarre... apparently when completely relaxed... and now whenever I want too... I turn into the genderless equivalent of an oversized tribble or a fluffy cute anime slime... and I'm quoting partially here: A furry semi-deflated beachball

I can't really explain what it's like to be a ball of fur... other then feeling when things touch me, being capable of purring, communicating through murrrs... and feeling very sleepy.

Through practice apparently I can move too... scooting works.. somehow... as does rolling... I can make eyes appear when I want where I want.. though getting them to far apart or to many gets disorienting. Can create mouths to eat things, and can form an arm when I want to hit something... but it quickly disappears.

I'm going to try and do some art of myself this weekend... hopefully at least getting this simple form done.

So, being over a year and a half into transition, my voice has resisted all attempts at training thus far... which is both weird and annoying. However, soon I will have a mic and be able to record and play back my efforts which should help.

Still, most people would think that as a shapeshifter, that is not tied to any species or sex, changing my voice should be as easy... I'm here to say that no, it's not easy. Do you know how complicated vocals are? I mean, I'd have to know how to completely restructure not only my vocal cords but the very way I use resonance and pitch with and without them. It's easier to completely overhaul a circulatory system then it is to alter ones voice. Especially since as a shapeshift, I can't mimic like a changeling or skin-stealer can. Sure I can copy someones outer appearance, but that is both purely cosmetic and a huge fopaux if done for any other reason then doing a "scene" of some kind (both pg and adult). There is a reason changelings and such were feared and hated for doing that, so the rest of us prefer to avoid it unless given permission by the individual we'll be impersonating. Even in cases were we can impersonate, it takes weeks to months to of training and practice to get the voice right... now try doing it without a reference to listen too and it gets even harder.

But, some day next year I hope to finally find my real voice... just like I hope some day to finally figure out just what the hell am I lol, I've been changing forms so much for so long that I no longer know what species I actually am beyond being a Shapeshifter who believes their existence is in some way related to Loki, my patron god(dess)

I mean... not very happy at the moment for me, I'm off my anti-depressents (though they came in today so I start on them tomarrow... may take time to take effect) and am dealing with a mother who has a fractured arm so now am having to do just about everything for them that requires more then one hand until further notice (i.e. they regain enough functionality in the arm to do it themselves)...

But in good news, I've gotten closer to finishing an image of my fursona... still need work on the face and practice doing the hair... and work on hands and feet and getting the body curves right, but I finally succeeded in doing four legs without it looking stupid so YAY get to keep that feature. So yah... once I complete my normal fursona, I'm gonna work on a small version because I sometimes spontaniously turn 'lil in reaction to various things because mind decided to go squee.

Most the time I'm just an a typical demigirl, mostly femme female with a dose of other gender expressions mixed in... however sometimes my identity can get weird, and during those times trying to describe said identity gets even weirder...

such as yesterday while chatting with my irl gf, where the best short description I could come up with at the time was:

"Two ferrets in a ball pit"

... why ferrets?

((my irl gf is actual gender-fluid but I tend to close off in confusion and become a quite shy bean when trying to tell others about them, so they permit me to simply use gf as they have worked very hard to keep me get me out of being a quite shy bean already... and yes they know I have multiple partners online, they do too, but we are gf/gf dating irl with only one another... for now, there has always been the possibility we'll form a irl polycue)

Yup, fucking artist block still at it... at least I have refined my look in my head.

Not that it was hard, when your fursona is basicly a cat eared, long haired, curvier version of it's inspiration with an extra set of legs and a nice plump fluffy abdomin,,, it's not hard to picture since similar examples exist, the hard part is defining scale >< I'm not as tall as Angel Dust irl, but then I'm standing plantigrade in IRL while angel is very much digigrade... So getting a sense of scale has been... difficult.

So, bit of a long overdue update... I have been working on drawing what would best be considered my "default" form... which is a complete overhaul of my old alien species into something entirely new and extra-dimensional.

However art block has been a pain in the neck. I know what I want to draw but drawing it is... tricky to say the least, and its the same reason I haven't gotten far on my arachnoid project... Try drawing a being with four legs attached to one set of hips, and you have my problem. The four arms are easy, the body shape is easy, the head has been... troublesome but that's more because I'm not used to drawing the kind of head that they have. Making it fluffy will be easy enough, though the tail is still... up in the air so to speak.

Till then, just using any of my SL avatars works for now, I am a shapeshifter afterall.

working on species for fantasy city: Arachnoids -refers to a collection of humanoid arachnid like monster species... or as humans call them "walking emotional conflicts" aka "don't know if should kill it with fire, or fuck it senseless?"

the city the Arachnoids inhabit is called "The City of Spiders" on maps, but has no local name as it's their only settlement... at least no local name any non arachnid can pronounce. The city itself is built along the walls of a pit like entrance to a massive and deep ancient underground labyrinth that full of old ruins, dungeons, and foul magics that make traversing deeper easier but returning harder. Much of the known ruins have been confirmed to belong to the Arachnoids ancestors, with the deeper you go the further back the ruins date. To this day no one has made it to the bottom, or even know how far deep it goes, thus the origins of the Arachnoids remains a mystery... are they a naturally occurrence or were they created by some ancient race in times to old to comprehend.

More importantly though is that the city can only be reached from below, though other distant entrances to the upper parts of the labyrinth. This is due to the location of the pits opening being on an unmapped and uninhabitable landmass that is, as far as anyone who's gone up to look can tell, completely barren of life and frigged cold.

Seriously, why am I even commenting on this... I don't really use tumblr much anymore, maybe I'm just venting because a lot of my inspirational blogs have been axed due to this. Meh, either way, their loss, I'll remain on it as long as I can till it dies spreading the good foozle word.

There are a few species and tribes for mlp that have been floating around in my head

First are the Valkyrie: an owl like pegasi tribe that takes heavily after the real vikings in dress, weapons, mane/tail styles and beleifs only flipped so Mares are the dominat pressence on the battle feild rather then stalions... mainly because there are so few stallions born to them. Tend to mix in small amounts of meat more often with their diets then other tribes.

Harpy: Chimp head, Chip chest, Hawk like wings (arms), and Hawk lower body. Cheeky little buggers, if standing straight up can look a pony in the eye. Omnivours. Love to gossip.

Sphinx: Gorilla head, Lion Body, females have wings, Males have thick bushy manes and often beards. typicaly no nonsense types, most often still have a soft spot for messing with the other sentient species heads. Mostly Carnivours with some vegitarian diets.

Well It's that day of the year again... >< and I can't even remember how old I am now.

Anywho, no big plans or anything, just another hatching day going by.

I've been into the idea of Extreme Bimbofication for the past week or so... and really like what I've seen and heard.

Then I was offered to have it done to me, now i turned them down because I'm kinda in a relationship already, one I'm happy with. But my mate is willing to do it as well, so the question I present is: Should I do it and become a bimbo?

Now I kinda already made a decission, this is more out of curiosity of what others think. So be candid.

My poor laptop gave out this morning not a half hour ago, I'm down in the lobby again posting this. Unforniately it won't even read the reboot disk anymore.

I NEED some kind of new computer, hell even a net book will be better then sitting board all day in the room.

*sigh* I'm still a week away from moving into the new place much less getting a job, it's going to be some time before I can even afford to get a new computer. A very long time.
