CAT HEALTH UPDATE
Posted 3 years agoPluto had hip surgery today. They removed the head of the joint and leveled the surface of the bone.
Now the baby is resting at home, we were told that he recovered well from anesthesia. Also, he started stepping on the injured paw almost immediately, which is also very good (the doctors said that about 80% of cats try not to step on the paw after the operation)
He still refuses any dry cat food or canned cat food, but he has an unusual love for meat. Apparently we'll have to come to terms with his desire to be a predator.
I want to once again thank everyone who helped me raise enough (and even more than necessary) money for the operation!!!!!!! ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

I slept for 3 hours at night, after that I went with the cat to the clinic for an examination (they also removed the catheter from his paw and I met with the surgeon, who explained to me the essence of the operation)
After we returned home, and I fell asleep somewhere else for 3 hours.
The cat eats very little, hardly drinks, he has not pissed for more than a day - the first time he pissed on the morning of the 23rd - and therefore, if he had not peed in the evening, we would have had to go to the clinic again so that he was forced to piss. but, fortunately, after special pills, he went to the toilet.
He has not pooped since the fall, but most likely due to the fact that he eats almost nothing.
On the 25th in the morning we will go to check his heart, and on the 26th there will be an operation

He has not yet developed pancreatitis from stress and pain, and judging by the tests, he still did not show internal bleeding. (he has a bruised liver and seems to have bruised everything in his stomach)
Bad news: he refuses to eat. Last night, when we arrived, he ate in front of us, but refuses in front of the doctors.
As a result, we were offered to take him home at night and bring him back to the clinic in the morning for tests. If his condition does not worsen during the day, then in the evening I will send you pictures of our cat at the overnight stay

He landed pretty well, as he survived. But, with leathering, he broke his paw - he had a fracture of the femoral neck. And, of course, he had a bruise of all internal organs.
This is all the information that I have, since at the moment the cat is in the hospital at the veterinary clinic.

It is not needed by ordinary people, personally, I don’t even fully understand what we are fighting for. I have a lot of anxiety all day because I'm afraid of new sanctions and I'm afraid of war. I have many acquaintances in Ukraine, and I worry about them. I am against war and do not support it

Posted 4 years agoRecently I wrote that I have a high temperature. (By the way, in the end it rose to 39 degrees, and we somehow lowered it to 38, and only the next day lowered it to 37.)
Today we went to the clinic to take tests for covid, and my husband has a positive test (I have a negative one, but it is obvious that we are sick with the same thing)
