Hello hello. Yes, it's been a long time. I haven't really been drawing much outside of commission work and private work. My apologies.
As my last journal states, I'm a V-Tuber now for fun, and I go by KiiStarr on those platforms. Smol, not impressive but that's where you'll find me. That and Twitter. Oh, I also have a bluesky that I should probably touch more often.

I suppose I should give an update?

I haven't taken part in the furry fandom in a long time. I've kinda distanced myself from it. Too much drama and things like that when I was active, and it all kinda got exhausting. I'm almost forty, drama is just not what I want to see all over the place every day of my life, you know? Unfortunately, no matter where you go, you run into drama. c:

I don't know if I'll continue to post here, especially with the AI nonsense happening.. Not unless the images are poisoned with nightshade first, which kinda ruins the quality of the image, but sadly that's where we are now.

I do have to say, I miss you guys. I do miss the friends I made here, and I miss my community. I just haven't been very ..well. A lot of stuff has happened since Covid that has affected me in the negative, and I haven't really been able to recover yet.

I'm sorry I threw some crappy older doodles on the page, but I got tired of the only thing being my porn comics. I just...haven't been able to draw lately, just finishing already sketched out comic pages. Life's been crazy, and I'm constantly tired. :I

I'm back to work. Apparently, doctors here are too stupid to be able to tell a 15 year old fracture from a new one, and it took them a month to tell me that it wasn't broken, but it was a torn ligament. Which explains why I wasn't able to walk at first, but eventually got full motion and weight baring back sooner than a break would allow.

SO, I got released back to work :> No more basket case Kii :D But, that also means commissions are closed again until further notice. I'll be working on the ones I owe old and new.

As for Old Times Sake

Thankfully, all but five pages of that comic have been completed so I'll still be dropping pages every week. I just have to keep from posting them all in one day like I really want to xD

Broke my leg at work. Out of work :I BLAUUUGH

I apologize for my scarcity lately. Here's the dealio.

So we had a leak in my office. Not like "Oh. Lookit that. It's slightly dripping." No, it was more of a "JESUS CHRIST WHO TURNED THE FAUCET ON???"

It's coming through the light fixture and over my -was- sewing station, so we had to call the landlord to report it. We let them know it was there when we first moved in, so it's not a new leak. It's just one they said they fixed, we never paid much mind to again since it was in our laundry room. But, that's where I moved my office to was the laundry room.

And in my office was my -computer-.

So, landlord has maintenance pop in, says he replaced the roof to a metal one, even though it's STILL leaking. So, the next time, I take a video.

He comes back again, and pulls the tile down from our ceiling, AND THE INSULATION (That he has since laid on our personal property because WHAT THE FUCK RIGHT??), and left it there.

This is what the ceiling looks like. Rotten wood and mold to the point it's got "bubbles".

So during all of this, I've had my computer tarped over and had no access to it until the rain stopped and we could mop the floor, dump the three buckets, and make sure it was safe to move the electronics without worry of water damage.

Now, my computer is set up in my living room so I'm able to get back to work on my owed commissions. For those who messaged me, I'm not ignoring you, I've just had absolutely no access to the computer so I apologize.

Thank you guys for understanding. It's back to the grind, now.

I just wanted to tell you all that I appreciate you so much. I was gone for a couple of years, disappeared.
What happened:
I kind of had a mental break, and ended up getting a retail job to cover expenses since art wasn't going to bring anything in at the time. To keep from going long-winded, I left FA with no word to anyone, and I'm sorry, especially to those who were waiting on art. It wasn't fair to you.

As of now, I'm plowing through my list. I know it's taking time and I apologise, but it will be done. Please excuse the pieces of personal art peppered through as well, since i draw for myself as a stress release.

Long story short, I'm back. I'm trying to make my presence known again, but that takes time and forgiveness from you guys. Thank you all for being so patient and sticking with me. I love you all for that.

I want to make it so my darker images are visible for everyone, so I'll be trying a few new techniques when I work on them. @__@

I'm genuinely curious. I was looking through my gallery on my phone, and a couple of images that looked fine on my desktop monitor were so dark you couldn't see details on the phone screen.

My dryer took a poop, and we got bombarded with surprise 25-45 bills and Mike's medical bill. I need to make up what I'm about to take out of savings, so I'm taking a couple of commissions. A little at a time so I don't get swamped. If anyone is interested in one, comment below.

For those who are a part of the Strip Club image, I know it's been a long time. Here's what's going down:

Original file was lost. Recovery is a bust, so what I'll be doing is using the wip post image I dropped here for slots as 'bones', and working from the bottom up.

What I will be doing: I'm going to note each and every one of you and asking for the refs of the preferred characters again. That way, if you wanted to change the characters or if the character is updated, the image will match and not be out of date.

I'm giving myself a due date of September 15th at the very latest. Why so late? I'm fixing to pick up extra hours at my store due to staff loss and back to school, so I won't have a lot of time to get it done quickly. Plus, for the wait, I want to make sure it looks good and not like a rush job.

Again, there's no excuse I have for it taking as long as it has, but I promise that if it isn't done by my due date, I will be issuing refunds.

Sorry I've been dead. I've been isolating myself to getting old commissions finished the best I can, and realized I had some art that meant quite a bit to me (comics), and figured I would throw them in here.

We're in a bit of a bind. There's my husband and I, and my roomie living together. Right now, things have been tough financially since she's been out of work.

You see, she's a massage therapist. About two months back, someone ran into her, totaling out her vehicle and breaking her arm. Since the vehicle was so old and already had it's issues (and sketchy insurance practices that she's looking into), she didn't get anything for the totaling of her car.

Her arm is healing now, she's finally out of her brace, but here's the thing. She has no vehicle.

She's started a 'YouCaring' to help her get a vehicle so she could get back to work. It would help both  themike and I greatly if you guys could help us out.

Her being out of work has put strain on the household. We've been having trouble making ends meet with us feeding another mouth and paying excessive use of utilities without a third contributor to pay for their end. We're trying to find her something cheap that runs for now, and this would at least help her get a down payment on a used vehicle. :<

'S awfully dusty in here.

So, I've obviously not touched this page in a long time.. Hell, I haven't really done much of anything as far as art much less update the site.

I don't really have enough time in the day to work my fifty some hours plus do art, but I've been trying to throw what little I've been able to do up.

At any rate, I'm alive. Barely, but I am alive. Just wanted to update. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've some cobwebs and dust bunnies to sweep up.
