Posted 9 years agoSo I've been working fifty plus hours a week, 12 hour shifts, with one day off. I haven't really drawn anything in months, so I apologize for any delays. I am, however, going to do a little art dump of things I have managed to do in the past six months.
So yeah, there's art, but it's old. :/ Sorry I'm so inactive.

Posted 9 years agoYep, so we have internet now, so I'm more active than I was. I'm juggling the computer as it's slowly dying on me. Some days are good, some are not so good. I'm going to be getting a new unit soon, even if it's just a store bought one to complete some way past due work.
I'm not home much anymore, so I don't have a lot of access to the comp. It's...amusing really. I got a good job, but it takes my time away from something I enjoy doing. :I Way to go Kii.

Posted 9 years agoSo, as you guys know, I've been inactive. I'll make this quick, I'm on my phone.
Hubby and I moved again, and will be moving at the end of April as well. Everything is still packed, so I haven't been able to do much of anything. I just got my computer unpacked, but I have no desk, so it's difficult.
Also, I got a promotion. It's at a store an hour and a half from home, and I work 48 hours a week so I don't have much time anymore.
As far as art, it's stalled. I will try to get my owed work completed. It's just been a complete, chaotic nightmare the bast two months.
I am so sorry guys ;.;

Our place kept flooding and there are traces of black mold in the rooms where water would leak through. Especially our bedroom. So, with much discussion with our landlords, they moved us to a different location. It's only temporary until they get the apartment worked on.
What's going to end up happening is that I'll be moving back to Johnson City with Mike. He's already got his old job back, and he moves ahead of me next week. We're actually moving him on Christmas day. I'll be moving a few months after him. We have to put money away for the move, though, since I'll more than likely be jobless when I move, and we need money for bills for however long until I can get a new job.
So, again, I apologize for how spotty I've been. Things haven't been the best lately..

Posted 10 years agoI'm just letting you guys know that I haven't been hiding. I've been working 45 to 50 hour weeks and really haven't had time to myself in a while in order to work. The images have been getting completed sporadically, and I apologize. It's unprofessional and I try my best not to become some of the artists that just up and leave with no word.

I have a few things I have to make money up for. (Mostly stuff relating to car maintenance.) So! I'm planning on doing a Commission Livestream/Art Giveaway tomorrow from 12 pm to around 8-ish PM with a break from 3 to 5:30 or 6 in between. [All EST] [Chore time xD]
What to expect::
***I'll be taking In Stream Bust commissions or Chibi's depending on what you would like. Busts range from 15 for an Ink bust (Example), 35 for a flat bust with simple bg.(Example)
Chibi's are $35 to $40 depending on character complexity. (Chibi Example)

So I've been unwillingly relocated.
Posted 10 years agoThe past two..three? weeks, I can't remember, I've been relocated from my computer and my home.
So, what happened: We live in a cabin turned apartment. It's two story, and they've been getting the top floor apartment ready for the landlord's daughter. They went up there to fix the plumbing, took out the old toilet and figured "I'll just put some towels around this here pipe to keep it from getting everywhere." They left. I come home from a double shift to notice 'Hey! There's a puddle in the floor!" I first think Mike's flooded the toilet without realizing, but then I notice a steady stream of drips coming from the ceiling. I also notice that the water has gone through the baseboard and into the livingroom carpet, right under Mike's 'battle station'. I call the landlord, and this is when things start going down this path.
So they come over, tear down half of the wall that's between the toilet and the shower and the ceiling to assess the damage. They work on both bathrooms and leave the bathroom pretty much torn apart and say that they'll be back the next day. I'm like "Alright! See you tomorrow, thanks for responding so quickly!" As the day goes by, and I use the toilet, I get a drip on my shoulder. I look up, and I wonder if it's just.. you know, left over water. A shoulder shrug and about four hours later I come back to the bathroom and notice that OH HEY! IT'S FLOODING AGAIN! This time, it's down the same wall it was down before, and now it was coming down the opposite wall. Apparently, they did the same thing twice and this time, it caused more damage.
They come back the next day, I explain the situation after setting a meat cooler under the drip that, mind you, was a little more than half full when I got up that morning. I go to work. I get a call from the landlord. They are putting us up in the vacation cabin they own until they've finished working on our bathroom, and he explains that it shouldn't take more than under a week. So, we uproot a few things and bring it over. This cabin is nice, though small. This cabin ALSO has no internet. And, I don't have my work station with me. It's been a couple of weeks since. I've gone back to the apartment a few times to see if there's been any change, and they haven't been back. Well, they worked on the apartment for three or four days since we uprooted, but not since. The bathroom has mold in it now. My livingroom carpet? They said they would help us get a carpet cleaner, but at this point, I'm not so sure a carpet cleaner is going to work.
TL;DR-- My apartment bathroom flooded, and I'm stuck somewhere else without my computer or internet. I'm using my wifi-only ipad in a burger king to post this.

I've just been going through a very rough patch, so I haven't been around much. Things don't seem to be improving; in fact, they seem to be getting worse.
To keep from being one of those who leaks her own personal issues all over the place, I'll just say that I am sorry that I've not kept contact with you all, and if you've noted me and have waited for a response, I'll be getting to them this week and through the weekend.

Posted 10 years agoHey guys. I wasn't going to open for any slots until I got more work finished, but I'm in a bit of a bind right now so I really need to make up the money. I am short close to 600 dollars for my bills at the start of next month [which is Sunday], so I'm really stuck.

Posted 11 years agoOkay guys, I know it's been a month since I've been in contact, but I AM alive. I've just been trying to get everything set up in my new place. I don't know how much bills will run me yet so I have not set up any sort of internet account up here.

I found a place.
Posted 11 years agoI found an apartment thankfully. I'll be moving Friday and Saturday of next week. Thanks to the handfull who helped me <3 I'm still trying to come up with the rest of the first and security, a pet deposit and deposit for lights... Not sure how much it will be to turn on the power, but I'm hoping not much.
The indie-go-go has 7 days left if anyone would like to help out. I have to look into internet, but if I can't come up with enough to get it turned on, then I'll be without for a while.

I wasn't going to make this very public, but things have gotten very troublesome. Two weeks ago, the people I've been staying with had a misunderstanding with myself and my husband, and they gave me until December 31st to find a place to move. If I can't find a place by that date, then I'll be sleeping in my car. I would much rather avoid that posibility, but I don't think I will be able to come up with the amount needed to get into an apartment/trailer/house to rent in two months.
The $3,000 goal is enough for first and deposit, pet deposit, getting our lights and water turned on and two months rent until my husband can find a job locally, and we will be very honest and transparent about where each penny is going. Any extra will go toward an emergency fund and will only be used for bills and groceries if the need arises.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

I helped my family with errands, got food stamps specifically to give to them so they could go without worrying about buying the extra groceries, and offered willingly to do and give what I could if they needed it. I have an aunt who lives next door that isn't in her right mind and dispises me for whatever reason, and she's not exactly made things easy for me; causing ridiculous fights with myself and my mother, pitting my uncle and his wife against one another because she thinks I'm doing something... things like that.
The situation that caused my sudden soon-to-possibly-be-homelessness started when my uncle's wife asked me for rent each month, which I said that I would need to see how my check would be but that I would do whatever I could to give them rent. I'm unsure how it happened, but I suppose she thought I was blowing her off and she went behind my back to my husband and was less than polite about telling him he needed to talk to me about paying them (which I had already agreed to, and I thought we had worked out an understanding that I would help). After my husband told her he thought that we had worked to an agreement, my uncle's wife took it as an argument and came to me that night, telling me that I had until the new year. I go in and out through the backdoor now, I eat whatever dry food I can manage to grab with my food stamps because I can't go into the kitchen to cook anymore, and the tension has literally been making me ill. I can't leave my job because I just got insurance, and I have some medical issues I absolutely have to have dealt with, so if I can't find a home, I will need to sleep in my car to stay local... _

Posted 11 years agoJust figured I would let you guys know that I'm still working. The Strip Club picture should be done soon if all goes well. I just want you guys to know that I may be scarce. Some serious shit's going down on my end, and I will be having to put in some serious hours at work.
