So it's been 5 years since I've first said to myself, " I want to be a part of the furry fandom." Boy, was that a sentence that changed my life.
Before I joined the fandom, I really wasn't much of a social person. High school had just started, and it was tough making new friends. Not to mention I was constantly being annoyed and picked on by some punks. After school, I would usually play some pc games or just check out random memes and crap. It wasn't long before I heard about furries. Now I don't exactly remember where I first heard the term, but nonetheless, I was intrigued. I started to look up what furries were, what they did, what they drew and so on. I was immediately fascinated but what I was looking at. Anthropomorphic characters, art, fursuits, and more. It was then, on March 11TH 2010, I decided I wanted to be a part of this fandom.
When I told myself I wanted to be a part of this fandom, I started looking online and on YouTube for things about furries. I came across a bunch of fursuiting videos made by Kijani Lion on YouTube, and was amazed at how nicely the people reacted to him in costume and how he made every child smile. I wanted to know more about Kijani and decided to get into contact with him. I talked to him online and asked him a lot of questions. Like, when did you join the fandom, why, how do I make a "fursona?" He answered my questions and told me all about his fursona. It was then, on the next day, I created "Kato". My fursona.
I continued browsing YouTube for more on furries, and I happen to come across a video. It was titled "Furries in New York. no way!" It was because of this video that I found out that furries hung out in the same park I chill at! So I tried to get into contact with the person who made the video and try to meet with him in person. My first encounter with a furry in person! On my way there, I was just a nervous wreck. I had no idea who this guy was, what he does and so on. But I told myself I had to do this, and I had arrived at his place. I rang the doorbell and the door soon opened. For the first time ever, I've met Frisky and Dream. I was super nervous, because not only was I meeting 1 furry, I was meeting 2! I barely spoke, but both of them helped me realize there was nothing to be nervous about. We hung out got, to know each other more, and we even practiced sword strikes at the park. It was the start of a great friendship.
A couple months later, the NY Furs were holding a furmeet at park just a couple of blocks from where I lived. Knowing it was so close, I had to attend! It was a really great experience. I got to meet a lot of new people who became some of my greatest friends.
2014. Having been part of the fandom for four years, it was time I took the next step in my journey. On July 3rd, 2014, I headed to AnthroCon with the help of Frisky. When I first arrived, I was just awe struck by the number of fursuiters and tail wearing people everywhere. I spent most of the con just relaxing with friends, meeting people in person for the first time, and more. It was a great experience and made me feel glad I decided to join this fandom.
And now, the present. Its been 5 years and I'm still in the fandom, and because of the fandom, I've met some great friends like Frisky, Dream, Jay, Yoko, Nova, and so on. And because of them I've been able to improve upon my self as a person altogether. And for the future, I will continue to keep on improving myself, my drawings, and more. Because without this fandom, without my friends, I wouldn't be the guy I am, or will be. Thank you.

My 1st Anthrocon (Pt.1 )

Day 1 ~
First off, i would like to thank
MC_Frisky for coming with me to this con and showing me around.
When i first got to the con, i admit, i was a bit overwhelmed at the sight of it all. It was just a really big con, never seen anything quite like it before. The first day was just the starting phase and even then, i was already starting to enjoy the con. We headed to Tonic to get a drink, (I got a coke), The "Yiff Me Berry Hard" drink was interesting, even going as far as to
xerxes_wolf asking the bartender what "Yiff" meant. I havent had a good laugh like that in a really long time. After that we got to look around the convention center, saw a couple of fursuiters, and even got to enjoy the view from the Con Center rooftop, and as i stood there, staring at the Pittsburgh sunset with the wind slowily breezing through, i knew, that this was going to be one great weekend adventure.
Day 2 ~
Day 2 was pretty neat, I had realized that my friend's plan to surprise his friends with his current disguise wasn't working out so well, So we figured we'd head to the Dealer's Den to check out a new disguise. While he was off looking around for a disguise i managed to commision a new badge from the awesome
SignalFire . Unfortunately right after that as i was trying to buy something from the Bedfellows Table, it turns out i lost my debit card and was pretty much unable to buy anything after the con. After that though, my friend had acquired a new disguise, which was carefully put into a box as to not spoil the surprise. We headed back to the hotel room and my friend got to put on his new disguise. Afterwards, we managed to wander around the con for a bit before my friend wanted to try and put his skills to the test at the Anthrocon Dance Competition Preliminaries. The judges were really giving him a hard time and round after round, he struggled to stay in the competition, unfortunately, he didn't make the cut, and we had missed the 4th of July fireworks. Afterwards i got to finally meet 
LittleW0lf for the very first time and even managed to surprise 
woger with the special guest appearance of MC_Frisky
Day 3 ~
Day 3 was ok i guess. I woke up pretty early and headed out to Dunkin Donuts, it was where i met Ket for the first time. Afterwards i headed out to Dealer's Den again and received my new Badge! I then bumped into
jayfox7 and we proceeded to head into the Con's game room. I signed up for 
Yoshils 's N64 Grab Bag Tournament. When the time came, i went into battle hoping to come out a winner. The 1st round was a game called "Cruisin' USA" which at the very beggining none of us knew how to even drive, but after me and my opponent managed to find the Accelarator the race had begun. Several car crashes later, i emerged the victor and moved to round 2. It was then i got placed another opponent and the game chosen was "Rampage: World Tour". I had no idea what i was doing and in the end, i failed. Having been defeated in battle i decided to withdraw to the Floor Wars event. I was just amazed at the dance skills of both Suiters, and non-suiters (mostly non-suiters, Dem Jacks tho). Afterwards, i went back to chill for a bit with Frisky and 
InuYoko . I unfortunately missed the Super Smash Bros. Tournament i had signed up for and decided to go anyways and cheer on Jay. After Jay unfortunately also lost, we decided to just hang out and chill for a bit. I then proceeded to call it a day.
Day 4 ~
I will continue this on the 'morrow. But for now, this will do....

Staring at you! Its so creepy and awkward in my opinion. It always makes me feel like theres something wrong, like a stain on my shirt or something like that. Its just disturbing.
I want to know what are some pet peeves of other people, and if im not just the only one who feels this way on public transportation.
