Posted 11 years agoJust wanted to let you all know that WE FINALLY MOVED MY DESK, so I have a surface to work on! Now all I need to do is unpack my tablet and I can finally get back to working on them! (RL work comes first though and my week is really jam packed. Posted 11 years agoOkay, so we're off thin ice as far as needing a place to live. I signed the lease with my roommate the other day, so all that's left is to start moving my stuff into the new place, and hooking up the internet over there. (which hopefully he is doing >>)
Although moving is going to have to be put on hold for a bit- as I've found myself with a nasty cold/strep throat combo. Fun, eh? What's more is the medicine I'm taking for it knocks me out and gives me weird dreams.
Anyways, this should all be over by the first of the month. I'll be working on commissions between moving and packing when I'm not confinned to bed having weird dreams, then return to working on them more when we're all moved.

Why is moving so stressful?
Posted 11 years agoLike, the woman who's handling the paperwork for my co-worker and myself to move to a new apartment is taking forever. We applied two months ago, and she was supposed to have gotten back to us by May, and then by June 1st. That being the case, he submitted his "moving out" paperwork and I need to be out of here by July. And she still hasn't gotten back to us. And we can't find a backup place in case we don't get this one, which she said we were pretty much a shoo in for, and I'm like wondering "what if this lady is full of shit and lied to me?" Which, after how flaky she's been, I kind of feel like that's the case... And I'm starting to panic and have NO idea what to do.
On another note, again, that is one of the main reasons commissions are taking extra long. I'm panicked about not having a place to live, and desperately trying to find an alternate plan in case this lady was blowing smoke up my ass. I do apologize about that, this like... never happens ever. :/

In dire need of some help.
Posted 11 years agoOkay, guys... So... I've got to take some emergency commissions.
My stepmom had been in the hospital, recently, and she hadn't been doing well.
Her heart gave out today, and she died.
I would really like to go to the memorial service, so I'm going to need to take some emergency commissions to get a plane ticket back down to San Diego. I'm aiming for$250,which is the price of a round-trip ticket. So, if I do 25 $10 commissions, I should be able to get down there. I'm aiming to be there from about the 7th to the 15th, because my family is in bad shape, at the moment.
I don't have any rules as to what I will and won't do, so just have at. NSFW commissions will go on FurAffinity, though, just so you know. Slots are unlimited, and they'll be full colored, and whatever you want for just $10. I require payment up-front and immediately, as this is an urgent situation, and I will be spending all my time not spent at work or sleeping doing these commissions. My Paypal is

My stepmom had been in the hospital, recently, and she hadn't been doing well.
Her heart gave out today, and she died.
I would really like to go to the memorial service, so I'm going to need to take some emergency commissions to get a plane ticket back down to San Diego. I'm aiming for$250,which is the price of a round-trip ticket. So, if I do 25 $10 commissions, I should be able to get down there. I'm aiming to be there from about the 7th to the 15th, because my family is in bad shape, at the moment.
I don't have any rules as to what I will and won't do, so just have at. NSFW commissions will go on FurAffinity, though, just so you know. Slots are unlimited, and they'll be full colored, and whatever you want for just $10. Posted 12 years agoWell, I make one of these every year, and I love giving things to people who also make them, but I never get anything... Oh well. Maybe one year I'll get lucky and get some art or something, but they're fun to think up... So here it is. I guess it also works for my birthday because it's in like, two and a half weeks...
~Step 1~
Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.
~Step 2~
Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special!

1- Money to go to a pet rat. I am bi-polar, and I just moved 1,300 miles away from the place I have lived for 23 years. I'm very lonely, and I just lost my mother, so it's been hard. I've been trying to save up to get the only pet I'm allowed, which is a rat, but they cut my hours at work (So all my money goes to rent and bills right now. Literally ALL of it...).
