My day just keeps getting worse, and it's going to be very hard to break the news to my family here.

I made a call to my sister's cellphone, and our house maid picked it up. At first I wondered why she was answering instead of my sister, but as it all came out from her, she told me that my sister, was dead.
She didn't give me the specifics of how she died, but that was the only saying.

I...I don't know what to do anymore. I knew we shouldn't have kept her there. I had a bad feeling about it: maybe someone would break in and kidnap her, or she would get hurt and no one would be there to help her. But no, she had to die in a catastrophe.

I'm going to hate telling it to my family.

Well, currently I've got ten people waiting on the list, but with the extra commissioned art from each person, the total amount of art waiting is uhh, 21. With one of them being a comic, so extra long wait.

What would happen if I were to die in a car crash or something similar, totally unexpected? It's making me develop a phobia of riding in a car of fear of being in a car crash and dying.

If I were to die, what would happen to the commissions I've yet to finish? It horrifies me to imagine all those people left hanging.

My teacher mentioned E.T., and she questioned whether we were born early enough to watch it.

Guys, I seriously love you all. I don't know why this happens to me every time I wake up morning, but there's always some positive outlook that fills me up when I wake up early in the morning, say, 3-4 AM. I'm just getting all these different emotions that make me want to throw up my beef ramen in happiness.

Uggh, I hate valentine's day. I'm gonna be picked on.

Anyways, I've got the contest results. Well, as I type this I have them all opened and ready to judge. I should've mentioned that you should've titled it your FA username, but oh well. I did it myself. <3 I love you guys.

There were really pretty backgrounds, which made me stab myself in the decision. I'm also looking for readability, and some texts overlap in the presentation.

All brilliant presentations. But I had to choose  yifftrooper501's PowerPoint. It is very sleek and professional.

But I saw the other PowerPoint presentations and I was like, "what the hell?" So I guess uhhhhh, a full colored sketch instead of a regular colorless sketch? I know this probably isn't worth the effort that you guys put into these, but it's the most I can hand out at once without going overboard.

Please don't cut me. D:

FEAR NOT, for I have another contest. This one should be a bit easier.

I'm too lazy to do my own powerpoint, and I just need one for like, catalogs and stuff. :U My parents are apparently going to go to Japan this summer and want a powerpoint of its culture and stuff.

So I set down some requirements:

There needs to be one title page with the name Japan on it
There needs to be one slide after that about the flag (including information about design, color, history, etc)
and then 10 slides of other information

There is to be a total of 12 minimum slides including title and flag slide, and 15 maximum slides including title and flag slide.

NOW, to make your lives easier, I've already acquired the information needed to complete this PowerPoint. If you are truly interested in this contest, then you can note me and I will send you a copypaste of the information I have collected. If you don't want that, then I can send a word document through email.

This contest will end tomorrow when I wake up around 5:00AM EST.

The prizes are:

2 full colored pictures
1 free sketch for rest of contestants

I will decide which one is the best. You don't need to go overboard with the graphics. As my teacher once said, simpler is better.

The other people that join and send me a powerpoint will receive one free sketch of their decision.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I only have PowerPoint up to 2003. That might help.

I have a[nother] proposition for you all. This here is a puzzle. If you can create it, then you get a free picture (fully lined and colored). Here's the catch--you won't have to wait forever to receive it, it will be put up at the top of the list and will be the next picture posted in my gallery.

So the thing for this one is that you have to make your own one. The whole cube in itself is 27 blocks. What you have to do is create FIVE pieces (and only five pieces that will make up the box. The pieces must have between 3-6 pieces, and some MUST interlock.

The pieces can be turned any way that, horizontal, vertical, upside down, any way except diagonal, or where the pieces do not form to make a cube.

You must draw your pieces (color-coded), like in this example at the top.

Your piece will be graded on how well the pieces interlock, if it's colored correctly, displayed correctly on the exterior view, and if the pieces are correctly made (to the rules).

This contest will end at 5:00AM EST tomorrow, and the best design shall win a free, fully colored art piece from me.

So here is what you have to do. There are five pieces (each color coded) that you must lay down onto the lower left layers. The blocks are all three blocks high (unless you turn them, then they're two blocks high.) Each layer represents a block.

Take blue for example. Its top cube has one, so you put it where you think it could go. The second part of the blue has two squares, so you go to the middle layer and color in the two squares, and etc. for the last row. An example is displayed for you in the lower right hand corner.

Then there is the exterior box, where any color you can see from it is put in there. Example, if you place the blue piece on the outside, like in the example displayed, you would color it into there. However, that one cube sticking into the box will not be shown, therefor not colored.

I cannot replicate art styles that are lineless or are traditional artwork. I will draw what the artist themselves will draw. However, I cannot draw anything that the artist has not drawn yet, for I can't get a good view of what the style is like. Say, they draw a billion dogs but not one cat. I cannot draw a cat for you.

There will be times when I want something, and I post a link to it in my journal. Most of the time, they are more expensive than the price of my normal commissions, but you get more art than this object is worth. Say, there is an object for $40, which is 2 pieces of art. However, I would offer around 5 pieces of art, depending on my mood. Other times, it will be cheaper than my art, say $5-10, which means you're saving money on my art. Keep a lookout for these specials.

Does anyone know a good shop or other (online) that you can send items in to repair:? I have this pink bracelet I found in my neighborhood's yard a few years back, and now it's falling apart. I mean like, the pink leatherlike band is withering away, leaving the white underneath, and there are strings from the yarn popping out. I don't want this to die because it's a very beautful piece of awesomeness.

I was provoking my cat because I like when he attacks me; his face is so funny and he grabs my hand with his paws, and then he kicks with his back paws. It's so cute. I ended up with a horrible hand. Only a few pieces are bleeding, but he didn't really break the skin. It's too bad I'm allergic to him or I'd do it all day. :U IT LOOKS LIKE A GRAVEYARD HERE

Ugh, sorry for the really slow commissions. I JUST got this recent problem.

My computer was fine up to the point where the Conficker virus was removed that morning (see Journal 'VIRUSSSS D:>' for more details. Everything was fine, with the Automatic updates and stuff.

Well, when I opened Adobe Photoshop CS3 (I'm not turning to CS4 D:<), everything looked good. I started working on a commission with my tablet, and the reaction time for the tablet is a lot slower than it was before. It was perfectly fine until this. I tried to use the tablet in Paint, and I got the same choppy reaction. Actually, anywhere I use it it might pause for a second, start speeding up and then work normally until I life the pen back up and press back down.

I tried unplugging it and plugging it, changing the batteries, anything, and nothing happens. D:> I also removed the updates I received yesterday from Microsoft. It still didn't work.

I'm apparently using Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 or something. But I've never had this problem before. D:>

I really don't want to draw with this stupid lag.
