I hope that everyone got to have a good Holiday season and a happy New Year! Its been a fast, but yet, long month for me. I'm still hurting from money stuff. Well at the beginning of December, my cat got really sick and she had to have emergency operation or else she was going to die. Thank god i was able to get on this credit care plan to front all the money because it was a $600 job. I still have to pay for $500 of it.. So of course that happened right before Christmas. My pockets were crying hard by the end of Dec and beginning of Jan. Anywho.. with the pet care bill still in need of paying, as well as me needing to have money to live off of, i might have to re-open commissions again. I know some people have been asking, and it seems i'm going to have more time open to work on them. However, my brain is still fried and i still have old commissions from DA that i need to take care of before i even think about opening back up again.. but it's something that might have to happen soon.

Other then that... This winter has been extremely COLD this year. The amount of snow already has been crazy! I haven't seen this much snow before the new year, in a looooong time. I hope that the end of it wont be to bad.. I'm really looking forward to Spring. And new idea's to come with it. Im such a winter bum. It makes me cranky.. hehehe. Spring makes me poing around like Pepe Le Pew.

hahaha YES! I do believe i do! Im sorry guys! I have been working pretty hard with www.hardblush.com artwork, and some others for another site.. that i kind of forgot to at least somewhat update pictures here! I check here every day.. i just never think i have anything to post. Except that Halloween one. Anywho.. I will go dig through my folders and see how far behind i am with pictures and start updating on a couple pieces!

I was soo close to it. Stuck in bed for like almost two days.. Unable to even really eat anything. Anything i did eat.. didn't stay in long. And the worst of it... i was taking meds to help with my illness, on an empty tummy.. and that made me worse. uuuugggggggggggggg... I started sucking down all the soup i could get, and making sure i had stuff inside of me.. and i started to feel better. Today i was actually able to get up and get on the computer and finish my artwork for Hardblush. shew. I am able to eat more then just soup.. and i hope things are getting better! Tonight i plan on sleeping A LOT! To catch up on the non sleep i got all week. 3-5 hours isn't enough for me. booo...

Anywho.. Oct is going to be a very busy month. My friend is getting married, so i have to get ready for that... and do my art as well. FUN! Crazy busy month. But it will be fun! I have the oddest headache in the back of my head. Ow.. ow..

Its been a while since i've posted anything here. Thing's have been kind of slow, yet fast at times. Dealing with a lot of legal stuff. Had to go into court last week to fight against some stupid company. It's kind of like pulling your hair out. Ug. We can't exactly hire a lawyer.. So i've been doing what i can learning everything i can to fight against these morons. POOP on them i say!

Art wise.. Its been really slow as far as personal stuff. I've been hating everything i make recently. And that means coloring. Which is rare for me. i also need to stop being so darn detached from everything. Make more updates.. and show more sketches and stuff. I feel so lazy watching people who do the same things i do, but then do their OWN art as well in between everything else. It makes me wish i had that kind of drive and talent to just.. make pictures work every time i wanted to draw something.

I changed my personal blog! i didn't like the old one.. The layout was weird.. and i didn't much like how they had you update it.. so i went back to my old account at http://kayiko.blogspot.com/. and will do my best to upload that as much as possible. With pointless things, and sketches.. and what not.

Its starting to get chilly here. Some of the trees have JUUUUUUUUST started to let their top leaves change color. I mean just. It is still hitting close to 80 F every day.. But at night.. its getting cold. Fall is coming!

For anyone who is about to enter their 20's. Fuck the fact that EVERYONE you know will most likely be getting married before you hit 30! Prepare for this!!! Plan your money well! Because wedding after wedding sneaks up on you like you wouldn't believe!

So, wow.. i kind of went on a lovely 6 day vacation. Went up to NYC for a couple days. Then did friend things. Wedding shower.. and then hit the shore (beach) and got fried. Ow. haha but yeah..wow.. its hard to get back into the thick of things.

Whats going on commission's wise? Still doing them! I have a couple other contract jobs i am doing as well that sadly, have deadlines.. so i always have to pause the commissions, to start and finish a picture for the deadline. Then go back to the commissions. Mean while my talent doesn't love me..and i can't draw on some days.. So.. i get pretty stressed when i need to get things done, but im having a haaaaaaard time getting anything to look right. So im slow with commissions because they aren't contracted and don't have a deadline.. But they are important! I did get money for them! So don't worry. No one is ever forgotten. I have a lil book that sits next to my screen that has aaaaaalllllll the info for each commission written in it. So still trying hard. No worries.

Now i just have to get out of that vaca lazy mode, and get back into the motivation of drawing. ::yawns:: Its hard. i got shit for sleep all vaca.. I've been trying to catch up since i've been back. Haven't really gotten there yet. I hope everyone is well!

4) i stink at poses. I do the same poses over and over. As well as hands

6) Prospective is hard for me. Even in SAI. Body form and motion are some of the hardest things for me to do. That and backgrounds. ooooh man. I can do them on paper.. but i can't do them well on the computer.

Does anyone have an area, or something, that they find soooooooo hard to draw or get right? Necks and shoulders are always hard for me. More so on guys then girls.. but maaaan. Sometimes i'm working for hours on the neck. haha At the moment though.. eyes have been hard for me. I never know what shape i like.. and my eye shapes change with each picture. haha i type this now cause im working on a commission and i cant get the eyes looking right.

When you are having trouble.. what are some of the things you do to get through it? Though eyes are hard to hide, i use hair to hide my neck flaws. I used to always put hands behind their backs cause i hated hands! Still do. I guess looking at refs would be the most expected thing to do. Does anyone do anything else? Keep trying till you get it right? ect?

So its been a couple days since June 25th, and though the events of that day hit me a shit ton harder then i ever thought they would, i'm feeling just a tad better. Except that.. my sadness has moved from shock and grief to remorse. I was talking to my mother about Michael, and we got on the subject about how i was mad that the news and the press are marking in on him now and are like all sad he died. It angers me because these are the same people who did their best to make sure Michael was hated. They ripped him apart for years and never left him alone. One bad, freaky, thing after another. What still keeps me sad and makes me cry, is that, Michael probably died thinking this country and others, hated him. He thought no one loved him. To have a life full of people who use you for your money, and gain, and then hurt you. I can't imagine how alone he must of felt. He's been booed off stage.. and he didn't understand why. "Why do they hate me?" He said. I know the trial and everything that happened, really didn't help much.. but i guess i always thought that sooner or later.. Michael would make this awesome come back and the people who strayed away, would all come back and love him again. ..... and its sad to know that it took his death, for people to do that.

I hope he died knowing that there are people out there who truely did love him for who he was. I really hate to think that he died thinking the world hated him. And i feel slightly angered at the people who did hate him, are now marketing in on his death, like they actually cared about him in any way before he died.

So.. as all have noticed.. my gallery has turned into line art with some flat colors. Im sorry for that. A lot of the commissions i got were mostly sketches. I only had 2 that were totally fully colored. 1 i finished.. the other, i haven't gotten to yet. So please bare with me as far as lack of fully done pictures goes.. Alsooo.. its hot here in the land of Philly, man. almost 4 days of over 90 degrees F (about 32C). All the lovely flowers just came out and are now starving and lost their colors.. its sad! Rain tonight though.. i'll be glad for the cool down.

Aw man.. my fingers were itchin to draw, but everyone yelled at me to take it slow.. so i did. Good news, the hand is healed! Well healed enough so that i don't have to keep anything on it anymore and constrict my hand. Soooo Yaaaay! back to work! hehehe

Soooooo Lovely news! I cut my right hand on a large piece of glass today. My friend is a glass blower, and she had a piece in her car that i didn't see, and ran my hand right over its nice sharp edge and cut a very deep gash in the side of my palm, just below my pinky. Yanno.. where your hand presses against the table when you write or draw? Yeah. So i had to get some stitches, and it bled like a mother f-ker all over the place. And on me.

To my commissioners. I'm going to be unable to draw well at all, for at least a couple days. Then i can at least start to. I dont want to chance fucking it up and getting it infected or anything, so im going to let it rest and heal for a couple days. Its wrapped good.. but still. It is so hard to do everything left handed. I feel so whiney. hehe

Stitches come out in 10 days. I should be more then healed by then. But i will be slow for at least the start of this week.

I guess this is never easy to ask anyone, but at the moment, I (like everyone else in this country) Is hurting money wise. I never ever make a journal for this unless I'm completely done with my old ones, but at the moment, i need help. My best and close friend is getting married, and the wedding i was to be going to go to and be a part of, got moved up about a year to fast. Now its only like just under two months away, and i found this out last night. She lives far away from me, and i thought i would be able to put money aside and save up more to go. Long story short.. I am opening myself up to commissions again to anyone who wants one.

This will be fun. All she has left now is her brother Fujiro. Kayiko killed her parents when she was only 4 years old. She killed them because they were being abusive to Fuji.. and Kayi wanted them to stop. Thats when she was taken away. They had a grandmother.. but she died in a house fire, which was set by Fujiro (who is a pyro) but he didn't know the grandmother was in the house.

Well.. The death of her parents. Then thrown into a mental hospital for kids and left to fed for herself until she turned 18. When she turned 18, she was transferred to a new hospital. Fuji kidnapped her before she made it there.

Now. She is with her brother and her friends.

Kina i guess.. She is the only one who i seen is honestly happy. The happiness Kay feels.

After they got in a fight and she lost. He is also helping her control her anger. Lou (Kina's girl) Is her first girly friend. (If you want to get out of charrie though. She is married to Kami and LOVES her bunches)

Nah.. she has no real special powers.
