Posted 8 years agoI am on a mood stabilizer now and feel so much better than I have in a long time. I'm happy that I finally went to a psyc.
The downside to this is that the medication interacts with alcohol negatively. After dark at IFC is gonna be different.
On another note. The friday of IFC is my birthday! Weewwwwt(god I am starting to feel old).

Identity crisis! HAAAAAALP! :)
Posted 9 years agoKazeli doesn't quite fit anymore, but i'm not ready to let her go. I came across the Lorvaka species last summer. I spent something like 8 months trying to settle on a character design and had to put it down and come back to it many times. I nearly gave up on in in exasperation a few times.... Now that I have Krisik, I'm quite in love with it. Is it my last?

I took my new suit and I can't wait for more pictures to start cropping up of my suit. I didn't suit as much as I would have liked due to a cold and spent much of sunday in bed, but I had a great deal of fun!
Some hiccup in the kitchen at the hotel set the fire alarm off sunday, other than that it wasn't very eventful.

Jan19-May14th 2016 I will be holing up for 16 weeks. With a hard work I will emerge having finished the last two classes for my Ass. of Science degree!
Conventions conventions OMG WHAT TO DO!! I only get two vacations!
I will not be attending any conventions that are during the time frame for my classes. Which means AnthroOhio is off the list.
I had been talking about anthrocon, but due to a invite to some faaabulous and mostly free pagan festivities i'll just wait till 2017 (I'd have been attending on a very tight budget due to paying for college anyways)
I will more then likely be attending FurReality next year as well.

Posted 10 years agoI've kept this to myself for too long. I go through this occasionally because I just don't know how to cope with the sadness.
I know I don't talk about my mother and sister passing much. I tend to sweep sadness under a rug to periodically find later. I tell people I'm fine when I’m sometimes not.
I was at work today and my mind wandered to all the good times I had this past weekend and I cried. I cried because I wished my mom was here to see me, I wished my sister was here to share it with me. I cried because I even missed how much they annoyed the ever for loving snot out of me or embarrassed me just for the heck of it (my mom was really bad about the latter).
I realized that in small way furry events and conventions make me a bit sad.
I’ll never get to hear my mother and sister’s ear piercing squeals at the sight of my fursuit. Or the questions about “What is a furry?” Or the ability to drag my little sister into the fandom with her grinning ear to ear along the way.
I’ll never get to hear my mom comment on how I've become handy in my own way (she was good anything she wanted to do household wise-plumbing, etc. I’m not bad at sewing, or craft related stuff.)
My mother didn't live long enough to see me get my driver’s license or for me to share with her that I'm bisexual.
I stand here looking at myself knowing they'd be proud of who I am today. It still makes me sad though.
I wish I didn't have remember them and think about how awesome they'd think what I've been up to is... I wish they were here to tell me…

Posted 10 years agoIFC is just around the corner and my free time until then will be spent making myself a backpack for the convention. I designed the pattern today and will cut it out in them morning and begin putting it together.
Post IFC I will be focusing on figuring out my Lovraka ref design... Class(composition 2) start the 24th and a the dude that purchased the fursuit head will be commissioning me for partial parts.
To sum it all up, I have a full time job, and am taking a college class this fall and do one commission and find time for my mate, paramore, and friends. (whew)

Something to make you chuckle
Posted 10 years agoI played some ESO with my man today. Apparently I had derped.
As we are finishing up he trades me some gear that I might be able to use.
I mouse over the chest piece and the comparison pops up.... I was wearing a Lv 1 chest piece(I'm a tank type character).K, now lets put this in perspective...
We'd be through 6 sit downs of playing and I had been wearing this lv 1 chest piece since lv 14(16 now). I was Lv 15 beating on critters(by myself) that were Lv 20.
All this time not having enough of a problem to check my gear, never realizing I was wearing... I was missing some 300 armor points this entire time... lol. I'm awesome.
