Eternal Spirit
Posted 7 years agoCome help bring a new game into reality.
Explore a vast world that spreads over various climates as you fight to survive against thirst, hunger, predators, competition, and even the weather. Take and hold territory, form alliances (pack, herd, flock, your choice of animal group here), find a mate, or even just wander alone. You get to choose what you do. If you want to decimate the rabbit population then go ahead, if being a world explorer or jumping off a cliff into a lake is more your style then do that.
Looking at having at least 15 different species in the game, all of them playable. There will be only a few to choose from at the start with the others unlocked through game play. Characters will age and die either from old age, injury, thirst, or starvation. Carnivores get to hunt for their food or scavenge carcasses and herbivores need to locate plants to eat while avoiding being hunted. You can change species anytime you are dead so you are not stuck playing the same animal all the time unless you want to.

New adoptions & breeding program
Posted 12 years agoBreeding Program
Here you will be able to find information on the breeding program for my creature adoptions.
-What is the Breeding Program?
It's a breeding program...
It's for my creatures (split hoof grazers and ocht adharca so far). Those that own one or more of them that are registered with me as breed-able can acquire offspring from different pairings (must be male/female pairings of course). The offspring will be a randomization of the parents genetic code with both dominate and recessive traits that can then be passed down to their offspring.
-What do I have to do to use it?
First you must have adopted one of my critters and have it's genetic information stored*. Currently the only ones available are randomized from tuft adoptions, however later on their may be generational offspring available for adoption.
Once you have a creature, you need to find one of the opposite gender that is willing to pair up with you. Then of course, you come here and request a breeding. Sometime in the 2 weeks or so after payment, you will receive the offspring.
Current Adoptions: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10254107/
-What do I get?
There are a few packages available.
Basic: $10
1 flat color reference (1 view) of the offspring
listing of the visible traits
"papers" giving family tree
Basic Plus: $15
1 flat color reference (2 views) of the offspring

"papers" giving family tree
Advanced: $23
1 flat color reference (2 views) of the offspring
1 flat color family shot (parents and offspring only) -or- 1 shaded image of offspring
listing of the visible traits
"papers" giving family tree
Legacy: $30
1 flat color reference (3 views) of the offspring
1 flat color family shot (parents and offspring only)
1 shaded image of offspring
listing of the visible traits and possible carried traits
"papers" giving family tree
Add-ons:
Custom image +$8
Additional Images (flat color) +$8 first character, +$4 every character after
Shading +$3 per character (can be used for any image, bundled or additional)
Simple background (solid color or transparent is free) +$3 (can be used for any image, bundled or additional)
Reference images will be a pose of my choosing, additional images will have sketch approval if wanted.
For Basic Plus and higher, you can choose what the additional view(s) for flat color are. Possible views are:
-back
-head shot
-different age group (infant, child, teen)
-with accessories
If you somehow happen to get twins (rare, but possible), you will be shown both twins. If you wish to keep both, there will be a $4 twin fee (to cover the extra character and storage fees). If you only want one, you will have your pick and the owner of the other parent will be offered the second twin at the twin fee. If neither wants it, then the twin will be put up for adoption.
Dual coat characters will get a free view with their secondary coat.
Characters that have a glow will get a free view in dim lighting.
All offspring are automatically listed as breed-able, you can request for them to be "fixed" though.
-If 2 creatures are needed, who gets the offspring?
The one who pays of course. If the owner's of both parents want to have joint ownership they will either need to split the fees or make other arrangements on their own. You are not to charge someone to let them use your creature in a pairing, although trading is not off limits. The non-paying owner will be given a link to see what the offspring looks like if they request it and can post it (see next question), but they cannot use that new creature.
-I'm the owner of an offspring's parent, but didn't pay. What can I do?
If you want to be able to have any rights towards that offspring, you need to contact the owner. You can however request a link to the offspring's image to see it and post it. If you post it you need to credit me and list it's owner.
* yes genetic information. I have a nice little program that I made which will randomly create a new creature within specific parameters or take the genetics of a pair and create a new one from their genes...not too dissimilar from what actual DNA does. So, since there are both hidden and visible traits I need to have each creatures genetic information stored in order for it to be able to breed. This will give rare traits and such a realistic chance of cropping up and allow for true breeding lines. I currently have 31 individual genes that determine everything from eye color to horn shape, there are even a few in there that modify other genes. The only thing not really programmed in is coat/wing/horn coloration, but that is just a matter of time...
If you want to register your creature for free breeding (available for anyone to choose for a pairing), please let me know and I will put them on a list. You will be contacted when your creature is chosen and be given a link to any offspring.
If you are interested in using this program, either leave a comment or send me a note.
I will need your creature's information, who the owner of the second creature is (and which creature if they have more then one), and which package (and add-ons if any) you wish to get.
--Terms--
I retain rights to use any and all creatures in my art or media.
I must get written permission from the owner of both the male and female that are to be bred before I will accept the commission.
You must give credit to me when posting the character the first time.
You can draw it at any life stage or have anyone else draw it.
You cannot sell the character for more then you paid.
You cannot alter the character design (change features or colors), you can add accessories or wounds (broken horns, scars, and such).
