Webcomic advice, please!
General | Posted 14 years agoSo I'm still working on giving Work Sucks its own, but I have some things I'm unsure about. Here's some points or questions I have. If anyone i knowledgeable, I'd appreciate the advice!
- I'm thinking of hosting it myself, instead of using a wecomic host like Drunk Dunk, or all those other comic sites (plus I'm not sure how a comic like this would really fit in those communities...)
- I'd probably use a combination of Wordpress, Comicpress
- Any ideal hosts? I heard there's some good ones for 8 bucks(ish) a month, but I'm not too savvy on this. I guess ads could offset it, but again, I'm new to this.
- Since I have a backlog of 40 pages, how far in should I start uploading? I figure maybe going up to a certain page, to give me a long hiatus perioud to work on more comics and such, but I'm unsure. I'd appreciate feedback on this the most, though I'd probably upload all of the first arc.
- What would be the best ways to get the word out of this comic? I guess an FA ad banner would be a start. I'm sure I could think of more.

Your Questions, my Answers
General | Posted 14 years agoHere's an idea I thought would be fun. How about some people throw some questions about the comic my way, and I'll see if I answer a couple? Either it'll be through another journal, or comments, or heck, maybe even a quick scrap comic or something.
Keep the questions only around the comic. Just ask away, but here's a quick forewarn.
If you ask something silly, I guarantee I will have some fun with it. Keep in mind that it's all in jest though, and shouldn't be taken too seriously (unless you want to, of course, which makes it more fun for me).

Welcome!
General | Posted 14 years agoWelcome to my little gallery, which is host to a comic I'm working on, called "Work Sucks"! I'm currently in the process of getting an actual website for it, since I've sunk a bit of time into it already, but for now, you'll be able to find all of the latest updates (and other art) on this site.
You can also find the comic here (for all those time FA goes down):
http://kazjester.deviantart.com/
Anyway, the comic's not about much, just two people hired to do a crazy job taking care of weird monsters, under their host, Kaz, who's quite the jerk. Please comment on it, as I appreciate the feedback, and feel free to say "Hi" any time.
