Tablet broken. Can ya help? Maybe $1?
Posted 11 years agoFor the last few days my tablet has been acting wonky, it's an old dear, and I haven't been able to get any progress on the commissions I have because of it. I've diagnosed it as... Useless now! Unfortunately, I'm working with low funds.
I have over 100 followers, think everyone can donate a dollar?
How's about this, donations over $10 should note me, I'll add you to a Thanksgiving theme'd picture I can work on as soon as I earn enough. I dunno. I'm pretty stuck right now.
Paypal email: Koishi12@ymail.com
Spread the word if ya can. I don't want to be to much of a bother.

I'll ink your sketches for cheap!~
Posted 11 years agoIf you every have a sketch you'd really like inked, I'd quickly do it for just $5. I can either keep it in their style, or add a little of my own zing of anatomy in it, but that's up to you! I'll also make it a bigger resolution, cuz I work that way! Inking is fun! Note me if ya got anything!~

I went to sleep at 5 P.M. and woke up at 5 A.M.

Want a walk cycle?
Posted 11 years agoIn my animation class, our first assignment is to actually create a walk cycle and original character! So, can i use your character? I'll be practicing more then one single walk cycle, that's for sure! If my first one turns out okay, maybe I'll sell 'em for $15?
What is art?
Posted 11 years agoMy art professor asked the class, "What is art?"
Of course. everyone chuckled, and laughed, glancing back and forth at each other. However, no one answered. It was a concept that required deep thought and consideration, and we hadn't enough time. Today, I can finally answer that question.
I believe, art is anything capable of invoking, or stimulating, thought. Anything covers everything, be it an idea, a theme, a creation, or just a concept. Art has limitless forms. However, art isn't art until YOU have addressed it mentally. Once you have addressed it, it gains form.
An example could be anything surrounding you right now. The device you are using to read this at this very moment, acknowledge it. It is now art, something now with form in your mind. A simpler example would be this arrangement of words you now read. Understand? Look closer, at this font. Acknowledge how the black pixels are aligned in a form to match the English language. Now that you think of it, it has become art. An idea becomes art one it has been thought of by a single person. Once it is expressed, likely verbally, it becomes art for those around. Art can be small, and irrelevant, but it is still art if you give it attention. That's my analysis of it.
Totally random rambling below
Now comes the concept of "Good" art. Good art are forms that simply invoke more thought and stimulation. The amount of stimulation depends on how you perceive something. You don't care about this font. You've probably seen it all your life. It has little impact on you simply because it is a form you cannot appreciate anymore. But what if OUCH HELP DOG FISH MEANIE INK
What a confusing assortment of words... But you probably read them twice. It was the sudden change in tempo, and visualization, that causes you to address it as something special. It is more perplexing and attention grabbing. Take that concept and compare it to music.
"Everybody wants to rule the world" is a pretty nostalgic song:

After, Bioshock infinite created a version for their game:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAA_zE5a3JQ
Even sooner, Lorde made a cover of it for the film, The Hunger Games.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaVA6sgOpws
Which is good? Which is the best? That's completely up to our own opinions, but this is how we'll decide it. Older individuals will likely favor the original because of it's nostalgic value. They mentally tie it to the memories they've had when listening to it during it's first release. Anyone who listen to the Bioshock version may find it somewhat appealing, but the Bioshock fans will value it's ties with the story-line of Bioshock Infinite. They may choose it because of that. Meanwhile, anyone who has seen the newest assassin's creed trailer, or are fans of assassin's creed, are giving their thumbs up to Lorde.
In the end, they're all good, because they are capable of impacting a listener with a combination of not only audio, but value! IT'S FREAKIN' LORDE, PRAISE ROYALS.
Take that concept to the traditional term of art, visual forms. Can you see it? The Mona Lisa has so much praise because of it's historical background, value, and actual attractiveness. Take something I've drawn and compare... I don't stand a chance. However, I may not be able to invoke as much stimulation as standing before the Mona Lisa, but I can still spark something, even if it's "That looks cool".
So, was is good for you, may not be good for others, and likewise. That is how "Good" ties into my definition of "Art". So... I hope this was thought provoking~

My voice in livestream?
Posted 11 years agoShould I invest in a headset so that I can stream and speak as well? Maybe I can stream other things, like Five nights at Freddie's, so you can hear me crying. Just a curious question.

You can totally copy,
Posted 11 years agoYou can totally copy my artwork, to an extent. If you want the pose, take it! Just promise you won't trace it with a program or traditional paper, free hand it or use it as reference. Also, don't steal the characters as they are not yours, and possibly not even mine.
You can also color anything I've drawn, but I'd love to see how you did!
