General | Posted 14 years agoI just realized in the past 12 months I visited all 4 corner states/areas of the contiguous US (Washington, San Diego CA, New England & Florida) and the 3 largest cities in the country(NYC, LA, Chicago). I flew 11 times, from as small as a 2-seater cessna to as large as a 200-seater airliner. Crossed half of the country on a train. Drank orange juice.

General | Posted 14 years agoI'm leaving for MFF on the eastbound California Zephyr train #6 tomorrow. Yup.. California to Chicago by land transportation, totally living up to this year's theme hehe.... 2.5 days on a train.
I don't think I'm gonna find any FA people on the train so I'll just be minding my own business, drawing and playing games on my DS. I'll remember to take photos of Utah and the Rockies =D

My guest sketchbook is a small moleskine so there aren't many pages. It's best if you have similar skill levels as the people that have drawn in there. I'm not strict about it though! (just dont like.. destroy a page by drawing and erasing and scratching the entire thing out).

I like to hide from cameras.

I think I'm mostly a Concept artist.
- What would be your secondary identity?
Webcomic artist and illustrator, wannabe animator.
- What forms of art do you dabble in, but don't excel at?
I do a bit of sculpting but never had a chance to finish my projects.
- How would you describe your 'style'?
Thick black lines with colors in between.
- What medium do you favor most?
Digital (ArtRage, Photoshop, SAI) and old fashioned pencil and paper
- What are your favorite subject matters?
Adventure themes, made up fantasy scenery, steampunk machines, chimeras, mythical creatures, ocean inspired stuff.
- What are your least favorite subject matters?
Human chins on anthro chacracters.
- List your Artistic Strengths
I can draw complex perspective like cars and entire city blocks pretty perfectly without thinking much. (I independently came up with my own perspective theory when I was a kid). I'm good at laying out background scenery. I can do pretty decent lineart.
- List your Artistic Weaknesses
I have a bit of difficulty with the consistency of my characters sometimes. It takes unusually long for me to do realistic digital paintings.. and even though I've had people surprise me by saying I'm good at expressions, I really don't think I am. xD Also I wanna but some serious work on color theory. And poses.
- Which of the above weaknesses would you most like to see improve?
All of them!

- Would you considering yourself a Fine Artist, or a Commercial Artist?
I'd like qualities of both!

Did an internship at a design company.
Chased the sun west and caught the sunset at Ocean Beach Just in time while drinking Aranciata.
Went to a bonfire at Ocean Beach.
It was so amazing, almost lyrical, oh yes.

I will be starting to work on the digital commissions, I will be updating the commission statuses constantly, and if you're a commissioner feel free to send me a note if you want to.
