So, being just slightly north of Tampa, we were kinda' concerned in the beginning, but now, the damn thing keeps moving west so we're out of the 'cone of probability.' We'll get rain and maybe some winds. Our only concern really is possible flooding. I'll let you all know.

I just can not seem to shake this art block. Maybe I burnt myself out, I dunno. I do know I have a piece in mind for  crazdude 's contest, but getting it from my mind onto paper/digital... *sigh*

Nothing much is ever going on here. Lots of rain, lots of not-rain. About the most exciting thing is I got my hair cut and I like it this short. Oh. And I was denied disability...which is kinda' good because I can go to the 'free' clinic now. (Disability in Florida means you're preggers, already have kids, or you have a doc who says you are - none of which I have or am, despite the epilepsy and severe anxiety). Ah well.

But that's about it. Ideas abound, but not a drop of motivation to make it happen. Blah.

Woo! Florida was/is flooded! We received about 11 inches of rain. Of course, by my picture of my neighbor canoeing through the streets, you can see how bad it got for my man and I. Rivers are flooded still, though and some places are being evacuated, but not us. It got kinda' scary there for a minute, as the waters were coming right up to our houses and in some cases, as Eric's bro's house, it does come right up to the steps. But around midnight, it had finally receded to minor puddles. We lost power around 9pm and it finally came back around 2am. HOOOOT. Blah. We had a leak in the ceiling. We were worried it would get worse, but the next morning, Eric and his bro got up there and caulked some spots. We're crossing our fingers it fixed it. Also the next morning, our mailbox fell over. The wooden post had rotted. Other than all that... no issues. :) We're getting minor rain storms every now and then, but nothing as bad as before.

tl;dr? Well fuck you, too, buddy.

Yes, as it says, I'm sick again...and still. I was thinking about it the other day. It's a rare day when I'm feelin' good and not under the weather. Last night was BAD. I'm not sure if it's a sinus infection or my teeth hurting, but I suspect the weather pressure wasn't helping. About midnight, I was about ready to off myself, just because it hurt so damn much. Luckily, I'm doing a bit better today. I feel like I'm going to be sick and I'm horribly tired. :(

I'm going to be writing up a book list soon-ish. It's going to take a while because I have a TON of books and have read even more.

My hope with this is to help others who are looking for certain stories. I read a lot of anthro/were/fantasy/wild animal books and I think it might help some people who really like to read.

I've been thinking about doing this for a while and I'm going to have my man write up a website for me for all of it.
