Heart surgery update

As soon they started the heart ablation it broke my hearts electrical pathways
An I flatlined. Ded!
They installed a temp external pacemaker an finished the surgery 3 hours later.
At 2:30pm they sent me back into surgery to have my perminate pacemaker installed into my chest
Got back from that at 5:30pm
Two major heart surgeries in one day.
Now it’s Friday the 13th!
As soon they started the heart ablation it broke my hearts electrical pathways
An I flatlined. Ded!
They installed a temp external pacemaker an finished the surgery 3 hours later.
At 2:30pm they sent me back into surgery to have my perminate pacemaker installed into my chest
Got back from that at 5:30pm

Posted 6 years agoFor a long time now, i've had a condition know as Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy.
When i had my heart attack 3 months ago, my cardiologist was surprised that this wasn't the cause.
Just a 99% clogged artery.
So finally, after years of trying to fix it with drugs.
They are going to do Septal alcohol ablation on the heart to reduce the thickness of the heart walls to allow for greater and easier blood flow through the heart.
They are hoping that this operation doesn't aggravate my hearts electrical problems..
Yeah, I'm just full of problems...
But if it does, I win a shiny new pacemaker..
Arrrh way is the operation set for 6am!
Who is even going to be awake then!??
Hopefully see all you critter again soon..

Had a life-threatening allergic reaction on VD day
Posted 8 years agoStarted with my hands turning red, and getting itchy..
Then my hands started to swell-up, followed my lips going numb, and m face getting puffy..
Next came lightheadedness, soon followed my passing out and waking up on the floor..
Co-workers finally saw what was happening, an called the emergency medic squad.
The medics took me to the squad, my blood pressure was 60/53..
they tried 5 times to set an IV in my arm, but the pressure was too low to do it..
Got taken to the hospital, where they used ultrasound to find a vein to get an IV into..
While in the ER, i broke out in hives, the color in my face went away.
while talking with the admissions guy.
i had a feeling of my throat being very dry, and having trouble swallowing.
The nurses tossed him out of the room, an gave me several injections into the IV..
After an hour they had the reactions stopped, and my blood pressure going back up twords normal..
Then had me in observation for another 6 hours..
Don't know what caused the allergic reaction, going in for allergy testing Thursday
AN i get to carry an EpiPen around with me all the time now..

Posted 10 years agoMy heart goes out to the thousands, as my friend stopped running today.
Apparently, not only can i not have nice things, I'm not allow to have anything at all.
As i had to put my husky Tears, ( Who i've only had for 3 years, and 5 months now. ), to sleep today at the right young age of 6. :(....
Tears was diagnosed in Oct. with bladder cancer, which saw her go from 52lbs to 38lbs. while crying out in pain to pee.
After surgery to remove the growth, which the lab reported as a per-cancerous transitional cell melanoma.
We had hopes that we had caught it in time, an that we could control or stop the regrowth of the cancer with proxicam.
She did better for 3-4 months, getting back up to 44lbs.
Then she started crying out in pain again when she had to strain to go.
Which brought up the possibility that it had spread to Colo-recto cancer as well.
Still trying to pay off the $2,250.00 i had spent so far in trying to save her, I just didn't have the $800 it would have took to do a colonoscopy, to see what was going on in there.
So we just tried to make her as comfortable as possible, adding Tremadol to control the pain.
But these past two weeks saw her go crashing again, like she did in Oct.
An i was forced to admit defeat, an end her suffering.
