Now that patreon is done for last month, I can start on the doodly commissions. You guys will start seeing those show up this week. No worries I haven't forgotten :3 Slowly but surely, the backlog is being taken care of.
SPEAKING of Patreon, now that Patreon has cracked down on Adult Work, I cannot upload NSFW requests on the patreon itself. I will still take them, I just have to upload them only on here and tumblr. It really sucks, and my NSFW isn't even that out there. It's just Paypal...again. >:(
This month, I SHOULD have the Soap tier done and ready to launch in August. If you like handmade soap, I hope you'll give me a look! I'll be ATTEMPTING to take nice pics of them in this DARK ASS HOUSE. I swear :M I might have to take them outside and photograph them around the flowers and maybe the cat, Pinkie Pie XD That would actually be really pretty, I just need to wait for the heat wave to pass.
Speaking of....yeah. My Car broke down :( IDK what happened...details are in my journal on tumblr. I'm okay along with my GF, I just got a little bit of heat sickness that was helped by a lukewarm shower and an entire bottle of gateraid. It did NOT help that it was 96 degrees F, whew.If anyone has a spare dollar or two, or even can signal boost this, I would really appreciate it a lot. It was 76 bucks to haul it home hhhhh.
I am so glad the car broke down in a parking lot and not in the middle of a busy intersection. In the end, we were safe and that is the most important thing.
I'm sad cause this was my grandmother's car :<. It's a 2006 chevy cobalt with only around 46,000+ miles on it. I guess even with a low mileage, a car will still show its age. I had it for five years at this point! It's a good little car :3
I will warn you guys, my scoliosis has been acting up lately, so there may be days that I am not reachable due to my back spasming. Those days I just take a shitton of meds and try to rest a little. If you do need me, my tumblr messenger and gmail are directly linked to my phone, so I'll get the message while I'm still in bed.
I hope you guys stay cool during this heat wave :( Oof!

Posted 7 years agoOkay fellas, now time for a hard close on commissions for a good while. I'm good now that I can just sit and draw. I'll have even MORE time now in the weekdays, because my gf has finished practicing in the musical she's in. She performs on friday-sat-sun which means i only have to drive her around then.
I tell you what, it was both murder on my wallet (cause of gas driving into the city center) and my back from all the driving around. I felt like an uber driver to be honest, lol. I'm glad it will be over soon.
I'm going to be making some soap too, just slowly getting equipment here and there when I have some spare money. They are intended to be patreon rewards, but I'll post photos on here cause I'm going to make them PRETTY. I even found a mold that has a kitty paw print on it so that will be really cool.
Also I'm expecting baby millipedes soon, cause two of my Ivories mated and the female is underground now, most likely laying eggs. I'm time I'll be getting some peedlings :3 I'm so excited!

I got my tax refund and I used a bit to get some more millipedes. Four of them, each a different species. It's going to be awesome :3. I hope at one point I can get the space to set up a desert tank, so i may have beetles and some desert millipedes. Velvet ants are pretty cool too but I wouldn't want to be stung by those. I want pet roaches but my gf is super afraid of them so I can't :(
I got abs now too after two months of working out. Well....semi abs? I dunno it just kinda crept up on me how flat my belly got. That's a good thing tho because the reason why i am working out is to treat my scoliosis, and having a strong core and back reduces a lot of pain and injury, so that's going good!
That's it really. I'm kinda boring. I just plan to work and play with buggy pals through the whole month.

What I have learned from Doodlies
Posted 8 years agoI've been very sick this past week. I drew three of the doodlies last night when i was feeling a little better, and i finished the rest today (except pheagle he told me what he wanted late today <3).
So if I can manage to draw 9 doodles in 8 hour time frame while SICK I bet they will be even faster once I'm completely well again. So they would be more than a viable and fun way to reward patrons :3
Thanks to everyone that allowed me to perform this experiment. It gave me an accurate ball park on how long it would take me to finish a pile of these. Obviously some are more simple than others, but in the end it all evens out. <3

Posted 8 years agoAs you all know I'm thinking of starting a patreon, where a 10 dollar tier will get you a doodle in THIS QUALITY. Sketchy lines with flat color and a flat background, with flair here and there.
what I need to do I test to see how quickly i can realistically finish these in a timely manner. The Patron needs to get these quickly and I can't spend all month working on sketches. So, lets do an experiment.

Posted 8 years agoOkay, I think I figured out what I want to do for rewards and exactly what people will get. I still appreciate feedback and I'd like to know what everyone thinks! Please suggest what you would like to see as a reward!
1$ tier:
- You get to vote on what gets drawn next, for single images and comics and stories!
- You get to see art a month in advance.
- Access to WIP stuff and sketches. (This would be patreon only. Finished stuff will be released as normal).
- A TF coloring book page? Maybe? Would be fun for people to color maybe just for some fun and kicks i think? It would certainly encourage some creativity. Nothing too detailed.
5$ tier:
-Everything from the 1$ tier.
-High rez downloads of art/comics in a nice folder, maybe as a PDF too if people want that? I will look and see if I can make things formatted for NOOK and KINDLE, it would need some research. Pretty much want to make it look nice like an actual book. Finished art will still be released online, but I'd like patrons to get a nice version of it that they can keep <3
10$ tier
- Everything in the 1$ and 5$ tier
- You get to request a sketch of you or someone else turning into something! Or if you aren't into that, just a lil' doodle. sketches will have this level of quality. EXAMPLE. Something quick and a little rough, but still colored and looking nice :D

1$ tier:
- You get to vote on what gets drawn next, for single images and comics and stories!
- You get to see art a month in advance.
- Access to WIP stuff and sketches. (This would be patreon only. Finished stuff will be released as normal).
- A TF coloring book page? Maybe? Would be fun for people to color maybe just for some fun and kicks i think? It would certainly encourage some creativity. Nothing too detailed.
5$ tier:
-Everything from the 1$ tier.
-High rez downloads of art/comics in a nice folder, maybe as a PDF too if people want that? I will look and see if I can make things formatted for NOOK and KINDLE, it would need some research. Pretty much want to make it look nice like an actual book. Finished art will still be released online, but I'd like patrons to get a nice version of it that they can keep <3
10$ tier
- Everything in the 1$ and 5$ tier
- You get to request a sketch of you or someone else turning into something! Or if you aren't into that, just a lil' doodle. sketches will have this level of quality. EXAMPLE. Something quick and a little rough, but still colored and looking nice :D
