This gon' be a long one~

Alright, so first off, greetings to anyone who comes across this; I've made so many "I'm ded, cummin' back" journals for pretty much my entire time on this site, popping in and out, taking comms, and doing YCHs, only to vanish and never finish them. Undertaking projects, with dreams filled of grandeur and high expectations, much like any rising artist, with stars in his/her eye's, only falling flat, much like any other artist. This isn't to try and rationalize my absence or anything like that, it's more of a segway into my point.

So why am I writing this? I miss it here, I miss drawing, and making people happy, it's the main reason I undertook art in the first place. I made journals before talking about delays, and personal garbage that most don't care for, and I don't blame you, you're here to see the art. So I want to do exactly that. Get back to providing fap-tastic art! I work as a QA Support, mixing vaccines for a undisclosed company (for security reasons). I wrote in a previous journal about how, it's been providing for me so well, I've been very content in life, art; while I still drew, it was now done for me, and no one else. Now that life has settled down, and I've got a set schedule and routine, I feel content enough to get back to posting, and getting all the art I've owed out there. Learning to draw for myself, has made me appreciate art a lot more, and actually have fun with it! ....Weird right? lol.

It's still awhile off, I won't be back for about a month or so, like...around July to be safe. I've been bouncing around trying to get Wacom to just approve my purchases, and waiting the ridiculous down time for banks to communicate, it's a nightmare. However once I receive my new tablet (Cintiq Pro 16) I should be back onto posting, I'm just waiting on my bank to get it's funds back, I could purchase one currently, but then I'd have no emergency savings and that's no bueno~

I will also be moving my entire gallery into scraps, as I've made ample progress refining it, looking back at this old stuff (much like any artist) honestly makes me cringerino. So only my favorites will be kept in the main gallery.

I will be making new reference sheets for main characters (I had main characters/OCs you ask???) since it's such a disorganized mess. I will also be redoing prices, etc, but that's not until way way down the line, as I don't feel content taking comms when past work is no where near done.

Hello everyone, I'll be writing this journal from my phone so forgive me if there is typos or bad punctuation. I'm honestly not sure where to start with this journal I know I have a bad habit of saying I'm coming back and then going right back to disappearing. I know I always say life is busy but that really does apply now more than it ever has, I found a job that pays very well, so well in fact that I'm spending all my extra hours of what would be free time into this job to get overtime let's just say overtime is over the $20 mark per hour. Now, I still want to draw our is still very much my passion and my life but from here on out I'm going to be approaching it from a different manner. I'm working on a visual novel game 2 if anything flush out my characters and my world. I don't want to get too heavy into the details just in case something happens to this project and it falls through but just know I am hard at work in the spare time that I do have doing art. Someday soon I'll upload some sketches to show the progress or just do progress updates every now and then. I have a lot of art that I have not uploaded or shown to the public and I feel like I really should, as I haven't just been complacent I have been actively drawing when I can. So just know that I'm Not Dead although I say that a million times and disappear millions of times I will come back eventually once I get used to this job and it's 14 hour work days, I'll be able to work out something in my schedule to create Time for Art more than I do now. So please, please, bear with me for just a little longer.

In the mean time I think I might start posting all the sketches I've been doing but never posted, they'll eventually be moved to scraps, as they get uploaded, etc, so I apologize for the flood ahead of time.

I have quite a bit of things to do, so I wanted to list them in a journal just for organization purposes. First off, yes I am officially back, for good. I won't get into specifics but life's been a little tough, not physically, but mentally, I took some time off to do some soul searching, and to re-constitute myself. I won't get too into this here, but I also want to maintain transparency, so just know my absence was in regards to profession and moral obligations, ya know, life. :b

With that said, what's on the plate are as follows:

1. Getting Holiday themed pictures out to you all, as I always have some shit to deal with in life that prevents me from doing that, not this year! >:C

2. The comic, Paying Rent/Soul switcherz, still brainstorming the overall arc of the story, I haven't decided whether or not to keep it simple with a one off comic with Paying Rent or use it to expand on my characters mythos with a reboot, just know this is a priority above all else. I've actually made super alpha like game demo using my art, as I was thinking about making it into a game, not sure, more on that at a later date.

3. The commissions and YCH I owe are going to be included in the aforementioned comic, still not sure how I'm going to be handling that as explained above, just know it's a priority <3

4. The YCH raffle, I still haven't forgotten and plan to get back to that as well ^w ^


So yeah, I think that about wraps up everything, I again apologize for my absence, it feels like I'm always randomly disappearing, I really am sorry about that. Thanks for the patience and all the kind loving words and support, I love you all! <3
