To those in Orlando, and the surrounding areas...

Thank you so damn much for making this winter break awesome!! Big ass thanks to  Tilt_Longtail for picking me up and letting me stay with him and  wildwolf for letting me stay, recoup after getting what I am assuming was the flu, and throwing not one BUT TWO kickass parties so that I could see old friends. To all I saw the past week, it was so good to see all of you again and hope to do this again next year. Next time I will bring my suit though :-P

Now it is time to go back to Fort Myers, where I won't have the luxurious internet to peruse, and in another 5 days I fly back to Maryland where my roomie  MotorCat will pick me up from the airport.

Next Tuesday I start back to school for my second half of junior year..my last semester as an undergraduate.

On January 2nd, my awesome and most gracious friend Tilt will pick up my Dogbutt, and whisk me up to the Orlando area. I have a week maybe two for hang out time before I have to head back to Fort Myers. If anyone would like to hang out, say hi, or whatever...please respond either by text (the 863 number is still the same if you have it) or if ya don't, send a PM please.

So as I said before, I will be in Fort Myers, Florida from December 16th until January 18th...so basically a month and I leave this coming Sunday. I will not have a car and I will not have much to do besides sitting around my moms place. I really would like to see my Orlando/Sarasota/other areas of Florida friends, but without a mode of transportation, that might be a slim chance.

If anyone would be able to pick me up and take me to Orlando or something, and be able to drive me back, I would be totally grateful! It's about a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive down to Fort Myers from Orlando. Please PM me if this sounds like something you might be able to do. I would really like to see you guys, and it would be a shame to be in Fl for an entire month and not have the chance to see any of you.

I was looking at some MFF 2012 videos on Youtube and ran across a music vid Revit made with a lot of fursuiters I know. I always seem to miss the boat on doing fun, cool stuff like that. Makes me jealous :-P But, I often notice I seem to be the guy people hang out with on an individual basis..I'm not usually part of group things as a suiter or even as a person generally. I never have had an entourage, followers, or anything like that like I see many people I know having at cons and stuff. I don't really want to have that image per se, but I often wonder how they have them and I'm wandering about by my lonesome. Every place I have lived also has little cliques of people who all hang out and know each other well, and I never seem to be a solid member of any particular group. I feel like I'm the "+1" in the group and never quite 'belong' with the group in the network of friends, never quite reach a level of 'your part of us'. I can hang with one or maybe two of these people usually, but I always hear about how "we all did this" or "we all did that" and I think...why wasn't I asked to be a part of it?! I can act goofy and spazzy in suit, and apparently a lot of people like it, and that makes me very happy..but sometimes I wonder if I could do something more creative with others, something 'out there' I like being social, and I certainly would like to be included in group activities. I dunno...I think right now it's the fact I need sleep tonight mixed with a pinch of feeling kinda lonely :-P Anyways, just a little window into the collies mind tonight hehe

PS - I could totally go for some hot chocolate right now :-D

I am now officially DONE for the semester for school. Winter break here I come :-D :-D :-D

This semester kicked my ASS, but whooooo whee am I looking forward to this break

Despite my best attempts at trying to drive down to Florida for winter break, it looks like I will be flying instead. I will arrive in Fort Myers on December 16th and will be there until January 19th. If any of my O-town, Sarasota, or other Fl friends want to snag me for some get together's however, I will be more than happy to go along :-P I just need to make sure I am back at home for Xmas and New Years.

I have a prepaid phone and as usual with end of semester funds, they are low and I need to use my money for more important things like gas and food :-P In the meantime, IM, email, and PM works best

The semester is ending either next week or the week after, so I am excited that it is over. Although time has flown by, this semester seemed to drag on...I think I mentally checked out half way through the semester. So the winter break is very much anticipated.

I will most likely be heading to Florida for winter break sometime around mid December, I am hoping to drive down this year instead of flying and if so, I want to try and see my friends in Orlando area. If interested, let me know and I will keep you posted on what's happening. Usually I fly into Fort Myers and am literally stuck at my moms house with no car and no way to get around. A few friends have visited me and helped releive my boredom, but this time I would actually like to see some stuff, ride some roller coasters again (I missed that) and just see folks I haven't seen in awhile.

That's about it. Currently I have been working my tail off trying to design a visitor center for school. I had to be an idiot and design a very curvilinear building..Really kicking my butt, but I am pushing ahead. Final presentation will be Friday.

I miss all my friends at MFF, I need more reasons to suit up, especially now that it is really cold outside :-P

Hotel was amazing and felt nice and close-knit

Met so many of my old friends, so many in fact it still surprises me how many I saw.

Met some new people who I really hope to see again as well

Met and took care of some unfinished business with a friend I haven't seen in MANY years

Took 18 hours to get home

Despite feeling half dead, I assure y'all I am not :-P

As usual, school has blown its homework load on me and left me to clean up it's mess..and there is a LOT of homework!

Studio as usual is what takes up 99.9999% of every waking moment (to 'wake' means I need to sleep tho) and ultimately the goal of this semester is to create a Master Campus Plan that will be in effect from 2013 until 2023. Not only that, but I have to research every thick inch of this campus, and create a Visitor Center for many people to come inside. To accept so many visitors, entering over and over..its no easy task! The trick to turn is that I have to present to all these educationally horny individuals with some damn sexy building eye candy, and have it be easy enough to find if they want a information quickie.

Suffice to say, all this research, model making, and conceptualizing has left me exhausted but excited to do more...

Luckily, I have reached the massive hump of the semester! Midterms are this week and I'm already half done with this lengthy shaft of a semester. As time mounts on, I will keep y'all posted on how happy this project ending will be.

Much needed short vacay from the stress of school. I came out to see  TOS and  krasnayath and as usual they have been so awesome and hospitabl to this collie :-D Only regret is that I couldn't stay longer.

Today marks the end of my summer internship at the State Highway Administration. Overall, I felt I learned some useful information. Everyone is taking me out to lunch today, which is nice :-P But. from now on...no more unpaid internships

In other news, I was an extra in a new Netflix TV show starring Kevin Spacey. I got to see him stand no more than a few feet away from me! :-D It was very interesting and fun...I had no idea how much work goes into production. Now that my name is in the casting database, I have a good chance of being in other stuff in the future. Bazinga!

Ah, where did the time go? I have one week left before I start school again. I know this week will go quick too. For those that know, once school starts I will pretty much be completely AFK for the semester. They want to make sure every waking moment is focused on them...why are they so clingy? :-P

Internship didn't pay so I didn't really make any money
Dealing with my school. They are charging me grad school prices a year early and its taking FOREVER for them to correct their glitch
School funding I live off of has been cut by over $500 this year
Got sunburned a few too many times
Summer now seems too short :-P

I just logged onto my FA and noticed I had 36 watches and a few private messages...for an account that maybe in a week gets a new watch here and there. What could be the sudden spike in watchability? Well, those in the know, know..ya know?

Yesterday I received a letter from my university that was an acceptance letter into graduate school! In the 10 years that architecture has been taught at the institution there has only been one other person who has been accepted in their 2nd year. I had to look over the letter a few times to make sure what I was reading was correct. :-D It was! And now I am totally stoked as to where I go from here. Nobody in my family has ever been to grad school.

So, I wrote a loooong AC wrap up, and at the end the internet crashed..I saved what I wrote but upon pasting it back in..not there! Damn technology. There were so many people and so many things happening at AC, that I can't possibly remember it all.

So to help I thought I'd change it up a bit. If we met at AC, what fun times did we share? Be sure to leave a comment :-D

Damn, I have a busy summer!

June 5th - My internship at the state highway department starts (Every Tues, Wed, Thurs)

June 9-10th - Painting someones house

June 14-18 - AC BABY YEAH!!!

July 7-8 - Camping on Assateague (Wild horses roam all over the place, we are camping on the beach)

July 12-16th - Going to my family cottage in Canada to relax

August 20th - Back to school

In the meantime I need to find a second job for some actual cash making :-P

I finally have all my grades in. This concludes my Sophomore year at Morgan

Design 2 - B (This was the class where I had the asshole professor, made my life and semester a living hell. Just glad I'm done with it and passed. If I got less than a B, I'd have to retake the class)

History of Built Environment - A (I love History)

Building Materials - W (Had to withdraw due to many car troubles)

Intro to Physics - B (I failed every test, got 100% on every lab..I'm thinking grade curve :-P )

Now for Fall 2012 Junior Pt 1 here is the fun I will have:

Design 3 - Intro to Urban Design (yay cities!)
Statics & Strength of Materials (I hear this class is REALLY hard)
Historic Preservation (I really am excited about this one)

Classes start back August 20th, so until then I need to make some money and also have fun :-D

As of 9:09pm, after working 24 hours straight on my dumb ass portfolio for this semester I can now officially say after turning it in that I am DONE with this semester!!! This by far was the worst, most aggravating, semester I have ever had...but it's over! And now for the first time since January, I actually have a chance to relax and catch up on some me time (and others time too)
