There actually is a new version of easy Paint tool sai comming up. it seems to have alot of improvements and changes, for example:

-64 bit support

-a font tool (yay for comics!)

-a bigger brushsize range

-a ruler for circles and straight lines

- selecting and editing multiple layers (finally)

-a new reworked interface(yay?)

and the best of all, if you you allready have bought paint tool sai, systemax lets you upgrate for free!

this whole concept is still in the works tough, but there is a beta version, which anyone can go and try out.

since Sonic Lost world brought us new characters, I decided to make a few of my own. Dont worry, scarlet isnt being replaced^^. but sadly wanna make it a little contest, so the to characters will be compeating in a popularity contest,
and you guys are the jury. you choose which characters gets... well more drawings.

if it ends in a tie:

both girls will enter the 2nd round, where they show their goods

if it ties again, they'll go all out XD

well there's something I'd like to share here. some of you may or may not have seen it allready. I'm working on a little sonic game. well its not really that little but well..

Im not gonna spoil the story to you guys, so Im just gonna tell you guys who's gonna be in it, if everything works smoothly.there is ofcourse sonic and tails, so as amy and tiara ( yes tiara bobowski) and be big boss: eggman.

the visual style will be a blend between sonic heroes and the adventure games.

the stage was an old test stage from chishado, a good friend of mine, and a great blender user^^. oh and the game uses the blender game engine.

about half a year ago, another friend of mine, shock44, decided to make a video of him playtesting the newer version.

since then I have made some progress. Im allready working on the first stage, and sonic's playerscript is pretty close to a solid state. Ill be giving updates of my progress from time to time, if you guys would like to read it ofcourse

yes also for 3d stuff, but Im still working things out, sothat the pricing wont be too high.

if everything works out,the cheepest model I can do, will be around 15 to 20 bucks, the more customized stuff will be around 30, and the full package, which will be pretty awesome if everything works out, around 80. but that will include quite alot. like multiple renders, the model itself in an interactive program with animations.

for my drawings, Im not quite clear yet, I'd say 5 bucks for a sketch, 6 for sketch+color (Im not really good at line art) 15 for lineart+color (Im not really good at line art) and 20 for a painting.

if you want a scene,with background, or more than 2 chars, youll prolly need to pay extra.

2D animations arent on the list, because I simply need more practice

I wanted to ask you guys if you'd like me to upload, my sketches aswell, since I do sketch everyday, for several hours.

another question: whos your favorate sonic girl?

I had alot of difficulties in the past with animations, since sonic characters dont really work well, if their limbs cant be streched and squashed, and such effects would be very difficult to produce, with the current rig.

but luckily, blender has updated riggify, so now I have alot more control of the character, which is very encouraging and helpfull.

I also discovered a better way of rendering(cellshade) which takes alot less time to render, but still look really good

actually it also looks quite good ingame, so if things work out well, I might create little 3D games (more to showcase the model) with some basic camera controls and afew actions

about the comic: I would like to include a "next page" and "first page" link, so I would be greatfull if someone could give me some tipps on how to achieve that.
