Posted 15 years agoSo, I don't know what to do right now about my page and writings. I know it was probably bad luck with the fact that I loaded my new series right as the site went down back in December but I just kinda gave up on it. Probably going to do one more chapter and see how the reception goes for it and go from there.

News.
Let's see, new semester starting on monday. I have 16 units this semester...I must be crazy.
Wedding plans are in full throttle. We have a date, location, cake, guest list and food taken care of as of right now. All we have left is send out inventions and finish decoration ideas off.
Have an idea for a new AMV that I need to talk to Maguma about on monday. I think it would be good but I need to get a program to make AMVs since Nero hates me now.==========================================================

Posted 16 years agoWell, I came on tonight and saw two artists I watch have the same type of journal. Well, I took the idea...
#5 - "Drop. Your. Sword." The Princess Bride
The scene is the ultimate bluff and intimidate check in movie HISTORY!(I play D&D, if you didn't already know that.) Wesley faces down Prince Humperdink after he (successfully) had killed him by torturing him to death. For the honor of his true love, he comes up with one of the best speeches ever about fighting until the opponent is so deformed that the looser would have to hear "Every babe that weeps at your approach, every woman who cries out, "Dear God! What is that thing," will echo in your perfect ears." He then rises and points his sword at Humperdink and bluffs him to give up fighting.
#4 - The Baptism Scene The Godfather
This scene shows just how much of his father is in Michael Corleone. In one smooth motion, he takes care of all of his families problems and returns the family to it's rightful place in the mafia. The operation is so smooth that even his doubters bowed to him and called him Don.
#3 - D-Day Saving Private Ryan
Probably one of, if not the best, war scene ever. What is not perfect about this war scene. 20 minutes of gritty World War II combat set at the greatest battle in the modern war era.
#2 - Opening Sequence Raiders of the Lost Ark
Set the tone for a awesome movie, a okay sequel, a more awesome third movie and a decent finally. Tell me, how do you top the golden idol and the rolling boulder of doom? You can't.
#1 - Krakow Ghetto Liquidation Schindler's List
In probably one of the only scenes I remember crying in, the brutality of the Nazi Holocaust in Germany is only accented much more by the single dose of color in the film besides candles being this little girl wandering around in a red coat. Later on in the movie, after speculating if she had survived through the whole movie, you see the wheelbarrow carry bodies of the dead past and the red coat in the pile. Schindler's reaction is that of such shock that I realized that movies were more then just explosions and funny one liners. You need emotion and story. For that reason, it stands out far above the rest of the list.

New series?
Posted 16 years agoSo, I've been pretty inactive again on the site, but that does not mean that I am inactive in my writing. I have been working on a new series I am tentatively calling Project: Shaman. I refuse to give away anything to the story but I have been busy with working on back story and other aspects of this world.
I do have a few things to say about what is going on in this story series. It is something I have never done before. The world itself is HUGE even by my standards. Each location has enough back story for it's own series, that is why it has taken me so long to write something. I am also doing something new for introducing the story. These aspects have taken me a little longer then I would have liked to get the first chapter online. However, my writing has been going strong lately and I think I might have the first chapter up within the next week.
In other news, keep those eyes open on my submissions. I plan on introducing the world in a few minutes to everyone.
Thanks for being loyal, folks. That loyalty will be well rewarded.

Vast Revamping
Posted 16 years agoSo, I decided that myself and Teige had reached the end of our journey together. Maybe somewhere latter down the line our paths will cross again but he needs to go his way and I need to go my own. Because of this, I have made a whole new fursona that I think relates more to me right now. Still working on his history but here is what I have so far.

Posted 16 years agoSo, as you guys see, I have the new Quest For Freedom up and am working on chapter 6 as we speak. Just wanted to let everyone know that I am alive and still working hard. If anyone has ideas for stories that they want to see, I am willing to talk about requests and trades but commissions are out right now. Can't take money during these days.

So, recently I have been doing some thinking on my beloved country. I love her, I really do, but things need to be said about people...leaders of the free world...in general.
First off, Pelosi. Where was my vote for speaker of the house first off? I didn't vote for this woman EVER! How did she become the THIRD most powerful person in the world (debatable, I know). This woman defines SOCIALISM in it's purest form. However, I understand how she got the job from San Fransisco...she pushes for LGBT rights and in all reality, how could she lose in that city? Still, are you telling me that Democrat now equals Socialist?
Second, and I am breaking a cardinal rule of mine saying this by bad mouthing the current president, but WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU? I mean it. This guy is more clueless about how to run the country then WASHINGTON. Am I saying our founding father is a retard, no. What I am saying is that he didn't have a clue how to run the country and now, 232 years after our independence from England, we are looking at him to run our country. The guy couldn't even light a FIREPLACE right. He isn't a politician, he's a status symbol.
Third, the media. Enough said. I knew in September that Obama was going to win because of three things. One, the only news I saw of him was positive and everyone thought he was GOD. Second, a study run by George Mason University saw 65%...I pause to let it sink in...65% positive coverage of Obama and only 36% positive for John McCain. Third, the day I saw Whoopi Goldberg ask John McCain if she was going to be sold back into slavery, joke or not, was something I just gave up on. Did I vote for McCain because of the media, no. Did I vote for McCain because I am white and so was he, no. Did I vote for McCain because of religon, sex, region, or experience, no. I voted for John McCain because I didn't, and still don't, like Obama's plans for my country.
Lastly, the 2009 Stimulus Bill. If you have been living under a rock or just don't watch the news, I really don't blame you for the last part, head here:

This gives a list of things that are on the "no earmarks" Stimulus Bill our beloved president and his socialist speaker of the house have passed in the House. Go look at this thing and answer these burning questions:
How does Puerto Rico get money from our tax dollars if they don't pay taxes?
How does $100,000 for doorbells in MS help stimulate the economy, or really anything on this list for that matter?
How did this pass by our elected officials in the house without so much as a bat of the eye from the majority?
Does this make our free falling economy better in anyway?

San Deigo sucks...off to Milwaukee
Posted 17 years agoOkay, so the sand dog doesn't really suck. I love being down here until the squids grab me with their tentacles and pull me in for some stuff.
I want to go into details so this is going to be a long one, ladies and gentlemen. If you don't want to read past this part you can just skip to the bottom for my thoughts.
So, mid 2005 I am on my first deployment with the US Navy. Near the end of the deployment, I start to get depreesed, but I thought that was just because I was going home to nothing but my video games and alcohol. We get a manditory meeting on suicide prevention and my dark side takes over.
Before I knew it, I was violent, angry, and witdrawn from everyone. The only thing that felt good to me was sleep, that would never come easy, and smoking, which killed my bank account.
I seek help though, instead of just living with it. I get it to, within months I find out that, not only do I have suicidal tendecies, but I am Manic Depressive. I get put on meds and life went on.
Fast forward 3 years, I am now out of the military, trying to make a living in southern cali while attending school. I run into this great group of people and, more accretly, I meet her.
Things went okay for awhile but then I started to get worried and depressive. I tried to push her away so I wouldn't end up hurting her but she wouldn't take that. She pushed me to tell her what was going on and so I told her. As luck would have it, I call my psychologist and she tells me that my MD was never fully corrected, nor would it ever be, and I should come down over my winter break so I can get fully diagnosed and get the help I need.
I arrived last week.
So, after a week of testing, studies and appointments...I am screwed. I not only have Manic Depressive and Suicidal thoughts and tendecies, but I now am diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety, mild ADHD and alcohol dependency. So, I now am being told that I HAVE to take medication for my MD, ADHD and GA and must limit my alcohol from now on to avoid full alcoholism. I talked her down today for just the anti-depressives and my anxiety meds.
The really bad news, my psychologist told me something troubleing. It seems that I have a link in my head that brings out the worst in my manic. If I am overstressed about multiple things in my life, in this instance my work, school and relationship, it is unhealthy for me since I loose sleep and I go really deep into my darker half. Problem is, I can only get rid of one of those factors...and you can guess which one.
So, I am now off to my hometown, Milwaukee WI, to visit freinds and family for the holidays, I have one last night here at the hospital and then I leave tomarrow morning.

Posted 17 years agoSo, I know that it's been awhile since I updated everyone on my life and projects. So, Chapter 11 and the entire Time Drifts By series are on endefinate hold. See, I ran into a major problem with the story. Teige and Kalli were not supposed to enter their relationship this fast. Until such time as I can regroup the story, it's on hold. However, that dosn't mean the end of Teige stories. I am in the process of writing another set of stories with new characters except for Teige and Jayna.
Quest for Freedom is still going strong, expect another chapter soon.

So, from now on, no deadlines. I am taking the Duke Nukem approach to it. "It's done when it's done."
See, I wanted chapter 11 to be the funeral. Well, I realized that there are several issues I need to deal with first. So, in story time line, it won't be for a few more weeks. In real time, probably never.

Posted 17 years agoQuest for freedom had some revamping done to it and is now online once again. It is going to be more of a action/sci-fi movie but with some romance thrown in. I've decided that I am going to make my first try at yiff in the next chapter of it.

Where is Chapter 10?
Posted 17 years agoWell, it's been over a week since Chapter 9 hit the internet and, truth be told, I havn't wrote a word of 10 yet. Reason being? I started school again so free time is minimal. Please be patient, as I will keep writing it but I need to get school in order first.
