Hello, everyone!

It's been a...Whew, long time since I last updated this journal, haven't I? Things have been more or less been all well and good ever since the hurricane. The island has slowly but surely recovered, but there are still very deep scars from the disaster, to say nothing of the absolute disaster that is our power grid and our overall government. Ah well, that's a story for another time.

As some have already noticed I've been slowly adding new artwork on the gallery recently. I've been trying to get back into creating art and while I'm still slow as hell and still learning it's been fun getting back to this creativity. My bear has been given another overhaul, this time joining the world of wrestling! I've been very excited over this new change and have been getting some pretty awesome commissions while still having plenty of ideas for more in the future!

I'll be aiming to be more active here in FA, especially uploading into my gallery commissions I've gotten. I figured it'd be much easier to archive them here over X (Formerly Twitter, god that website keeps getting worse), plus I can also scratch my writing itch by accompanying short stories with these uploaded artworks!

Greetings, FA. Long time since I updated this page.

As you all are probably aware, Puerto Rico was ravaged by Hurricane Maria two months ago. It was a...Pretty scary experience to say the least. Thankfully me and my family pulled through just fine without losing anything, but the recovery after its passing was and still is very touch and go. More than half the island is still without power, and even those of us who have power again are on a very delicate infrastructure where the power can go out at any given time.

It's...Not been easy, seeing my home island ravaged and destroyed. I can't say this hasn't affected me despite being one of the very lucky ones who has managed to find food, water, and still have a roof over his head. People are still out there suffering, help has been arriving but we still need so much more. Political red tape is hindering recovery efforts, and incompetency and corruption in our government are only making things worse. It's all been stressful and so frustrating to watch. You can't help but feel powerless.

Anyway, just wanted to let anyone who reads this know that I'm fine and that we are surviving. There are no shortages of charity groups out there who are helping Puerto Rico recover, so if you know of any please don't hesitate to donate even a dollar to help us out.

Just wanted to let my peeps know. Happy birthday to me! =D

Lately I haven't been in the best of moods, with worries about the future and about what to do with myself, and I've been desperate for anything to take my mind off of things and to distract myself. Lo and behold I see MellowSpark's journal entry on DA, and the rest is history.

I've been meaning for an excuse to get me back to drawing for some time now, so maybe this will be my ticket to get back to it. So ask away and let's see what I can do. This journal is also on DA, so the ten slots are shared between FA and DA.

Today marks the 24th year of my life. That's right, it's my birthday! As of today I am officially 24! Two more years until everything starts going downhill, as some of my family says. Hahah.

Nothing more to say, just wanting to put up a new journal entry to replace the Christmas one.

It's that day of the year again. The day for peace and harmony and to spend time with our friends and family. The holiest day of the year.

Nothing new to report in life, just a little something I wanted to share.

After many months of planning, writing and adjustments, my newest FanFiction based on the short-lived animated series Road Rovers is finally ready for all Road Rover fans to read.

New chapters will be uploaded every few days, I'm considering one chapter every three to four days.

I haven't updated this journal since I joined this site. I apologize for that, but I haven't done anything to upload to this place. I'm planning on getting back to drawing again thanks to seeing some art around this place (Thank you for inspiration, Kuma), so expect some art soon.

Anyway, for today I'm going to give a short biography to a few characters I have created as time went on. I might draw these guys soon too.



Name: Zero
Age: 5 (since creation)
Sex: Male
Height: 3"0
Abilities: Has incredible speed capabilities, having the ability to run at the speed of sound if he so chooses. He's vastly knowledgeable, rivaling a supercomputer and can survive anything from fire to bullets, however these can sting. He's very agile and acrobatic and can control gravity thanks to the Gravity Band, a wristband-like device around his left wrist that only he can control.
Background: He was created by accident when Jumba Jookiba was experimenting with newly created toxins and formulas, therefore he wasn't given an official number in his ranks of experiments. He has been through a lot, both good and bad. He has numerous psychological scars and physical scars which his black and blue fur have hidden.
Personality: He's a big rebel and does things his way. He can be quite cocky and kind of a smartass but he has a good heart. He can be a headache to deal with though. His body and markings make him look cute, but he despises being called cute.
Quote: "Hah, you sure look tough but I bet you're soft when you get hit!"


Name: Nyx
Age: 3 (since creation)
Sex: Neither, it has no gender
Height: 3"4
Abilities: It can fly freely with no penalties to its stamina or energy. It may not be strong but it can outsmart anything and can shapeshift, although this ability is a little limited. It also has a special function that whatever it sees it can be transmitted to another end, kind of like a surveillance camera. Also, if he can touch the foreheads of those who are sleeping he can appear in their dreams.
Background: It's Jumba Jookiba's latest creation. It has been awaken recently but has enjoyed the free life so far, loving every moment he spends flying through the world.
Personality: Nyx is very care-free and lovable. Thanks to not being of any gender, his voice can be pretty confusing, it can sound like a young boy or it can sound feminine, depending on the opinion of the hearer. It can be pretty playful and loves to play pranks and games. Also whenever he introduces himself to others he's very polite and formal.
Quote: "Why hello there, little one. What's your name?"


Name: Goemon (Working name)
Age: 4 (since creation)
Sex: Male
Height: 3"2
Abilities: He has unlimited energy and stamina. He can incarnate his energy into seemingly unlimited choices such as blowing fire, create copies of himself or create a forcefield. He can also sense vibrations with his feet to be able to map out his surroundings. Other than that he's pretty normal with huge talent wielding swords.
Background: He's an experiment much like Nyx and Zero, but his creator wasn't Jumba Jookiba and to this day remains unknown. The only clues to his creator are random nightmares he gets. He woke up and found himself in Japan, where he met a nice old man that gave him shelter and a family, but any memories beyond that or how he arrived to Japan were wiped out.
Personality: He can be cheerful when he's not in hostile environments, but when he's under attack or on missions he's like a specialized soldier. He's quite a nice guy and pretty merciful, sometimes a bit too much, like a kid.
Quote: "Honor, huh? Well, you don't seem to have any the way you're going."


Name: Rex
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Height: 5"8
Abilities: He has a pair of wings which allow him to fly. He can walk on all fours or up on two legs like a human, although he prefers running on all fours. His teeth and claws are lethal though, and he can smell blood from afar, like a true hunter.
Background: He's a Dracovol dinosaurs who grew up with his herbivores friends in the Great Valley. As he grew older he began to adventure out into the world to find anything about his parents and about his species.
Personality: Friendly too a fault, sometimes a bit too nice. He loves his friends and can be a pretty helpful and friendly person. He can get a little annoyed easily, but it takes a lot to get him mad.
Quote: "As long as you guys are here with me, there's nothing that can stop me!"


Name: Yahto
Age: 13
Sex: Male
Height: 4"10
Abilities: An average junior-high student, but he has a secret: He can transform into the powerful Millenium Dragon. In his Dragon form he can spit fire, fly, has superhuman strength and endurance, and he's pretty skilled in fighting. As a dragon Yahto's height doubles as a 10 foot tall dragon.
Background: He was an ordinary boy until he inherited his dragon powers. Since then he's been a guardian of the Magical World, fighting those who try to harm the Magical World and against any kind of evil force that tries to harm either the Magicl World or the Human World. He had a horrible childhood though, often letting himself be swayed by peer pressure and humiliating moments. But his role as a guardian was a blessing in disguise for him, often being the one protecting others from this kind of situations.
Personality: He's pretty quiet and shy, often unsure of himself. He can get easily scared from anything of the unknown or if anything just plain jumps out from the darkness. But he has a good heart and can be pretty friendly and outgoing when he gets comfortable.
Quote: "I...I can do this! Dragon Up!!"


Name: Jett
Age: 40 (Don't tell him you know)
Sex: Male
Height: 6"0
Abilities: A very skilled wrestler. His training to be a wrestler earned him to be pretty good at kick boxing and fist fighting as well, making him a force to be reckon with. He doesn't mean for it to happen but women find him attractive, often getting looks from them in bars.
Background: Ever since he left his family he's been on the "bad road" as you can call it, going to the bar to drink and getting into gang fights. It wasn't until he was found out and offered a chance as a professional wrestler that he began to set his life straight. He soon found himself on the ranks of a superstar and one of the most popular wrestlers in the game. He doesn't let it go to his head though, and he refuses to live off of his profession as a wrestler alone. When he's not in the ring he's out in the world as an accomplished handyman.
Personality: Quiet and a bit mean, often ignoring others and keeping things to himself. He's cocky though, giving him the image of a badass from his friends. He doesn't show it but he cares about others and can be a gentle wolf.
Quote: "Whatever..."


Name: Ken'ichi (Twilight Wielders version)
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Height: 5"7
Abilities: He has the power of Light and Dark infused in him, giving him a power of Twilight. He's also the one who can wield the Twilight Blade, which can amplify these two attributes and allow him to control the three Forms: LIGHT, DARK and TWILIGHT.
Background: He doesn't know his parents, as they were murdered when he was little. He was found by Jett along with his brother, Kamali and was later adopted by Jett as well. Thanks to Jett he can defend himself well with some self-defense tactics.
Personality: A bit of a rebel with an inflexible attitude. This bear can be a bit of a troublemaker and a handful. He's pretty playful and friendly too.
Quote: "Hey! What gives you the right to say that?!"


Name: Kamali (Twilight Wielders version)
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Height: 5"9
Abilities: Unlike his brother Kamali didn't inherit any kind of Light or Dark powers. But just like Ken'ichi, Kamali learned some useful self-defense tactics from Jett.
Background: Kamali doesn't remember his parents either, he was along with Ken'ichi when Jett found them next to their murdered parents. He was later adopted by Jett along with Ken'ichi.
Personality: Kamali is pretty obedient and a very responsible bear, often being the one keeping Ken'ichi in check and out of trouble. He knows when to play and when to be serious, often pulling his little brother away from danger.
Quote: "You do realize this is just going to get you in trouble, right?"

Hello there, friends.

Allow me to introduce myself, the name's Ken'ichi, a black grizzly bear. I've been on DeviantART for a while and then found myself in this area looking around at the art. I decided to make myself at home here as well, to broaden a bit more the amount of art I see and hoping seeing all these wonderful art could bring back my interest to draw and make me focus more on it to improve my skills. I'm also eager in meeting new people and make new friends here on Fur Affinity.

To be honest, I'm more of a writer, been writing for about four years publishing my work on FanFiction.Net and some of them on my DeviantART page. I thought I could also share my written work here as well to anyone interested in reading them.

When I upload old and new artworks, I should warn you I do not own a scanner for my drawings, nor do I know how to use Photoshop or any kind of program like that, at least not yet. I only have my digital camera as a means of getting my artwork into my computer. I apologize for that.

Currently I have just uploaded some of my artworks from the past, including a couple of writing works of mine, to have something to show on my gallery while I'm in a very busy period of time in college. Not only that but to also see if anyone have any constructive criticism and suggestions/advice on how to improve.
