General | Posted a month agoAs the title says! I am now taking on new commissions as my queue for the past several (very busy) months winds to a close and I find myself needing an income again.
I need to get around to making a new price with new examples as my method has shifted over the past few months, but I'll do my best here with things I've done recently. First off, I'm considering simply doing away with the monochrome sketch tier - it generally does not save me a whole lot of time with my current method, and it just seems redundant. At the same time though, I don't want to price anybody out by charging too much, so I will probably leave it there as a more affordable option at $40. Slots for this sort of thing will probably be limited and/or delayed, to try and incentivize people who can pay more to do so because I do still need to make money... But! That aside!
Colored sketch: $60 - A fully-colored image with generally faster, looser linework and coloring. I've discovered that it's simply faster and easier for me to draw rougher linework than it is to clean up the sketches and the end results look nicer anyway, so that's how these are done lately!

Flat color: $90 - A fully-rendered full color image, typically with highlighting and more detailed linework and coloring than the sketch tier.

Cel-shaded render: $120 - Full color, linework, shading, highlights, the whole package!

Soft-shading remains an option if anybody wants it, but I've found that not many people have gone for that! They are $140.
These are base prices, and additions such as extra characters, extra versions (such as SFW and NSFW versions), and the like incur an additional charge. Simple backgrounds (like the dorumon or tinkaton sketches) are fine if you have an idea for one - I typically don't have a lot of inspired ideas for backgrounds, which is why I don't do 'em a lot! More detailed backgrounds are a case-by-case basis, we can talk about it. Feral/semi-feral characters will generally be full-body, anthro characters may cost more for full-body depending on the complexity of the pose involved (I'm less experienced with them but still capable enough!).
How do you get in on this? Easy! Send me a note! Or, if you prefer, I have set up a Google form for commission submissions I will link below. Either method works! I can most easily be reached on FurAffinity (kerilyn), BlueSky (batty.love), or InkBunny (lilacbat) if you have any questions!

I doubt I'll post notices every time I go live, but I usually try and stream at least a couple hours each weeknight evening (with the occasional exception of Mondays or Fridays because I have tabletop games those nights so time can be tight). Lately I've been finishing up my current commission queue but I'd like to do more in-stream commissions in the future!

General | Posted 4 months ago2025 has been my first year doing commissions and having art as a primary source of income, with the job market being as difficult as it is lately. It hasn't been easy, but we made it, and I owe that to everyone who's followed me over the last year, or helped spread my art - it's been a lovely experience watching my follower count rise substantially over the last year and to feel like I'm genuinely improving in my art as well. While I've still got a long way to go it's helped to know so many people have enjoyed what I've already done!
Things have slowed down a little bit lately because I'm preparing for a big move in the latter half of the month to a new city, and that sort of stress makes it hard for me to sit down and focus on drawing. That said I've still got a few things to do, and a few things I've gotten done and just haven't gotten around to uploading yet. Things should be less stressful in the new year, though, and I hope that I can continue to put out more consistent work and create things that even more people can enjoy.
Commissions are closed 'til sometime in January, but that's what most of my journals are about and I need something else to show on my page, so... enjoy this sappy message and happy holidays!

As for life, we're planning a move that should make things a fair bit less tight, but I do still have some bills to catch up on in the meantime, so any donations or commissions are very much appreciated! Things should stabilize after December for the most part, but the move we're planning is cross-country which means my computer and desk will have to travel a long way too - meaning there's a chance some work might get delayed a week or two if things take too long. I've got a laptop and I plan on packing my tablet with it, so I'd like to keep powering on with work while my PC is en route, but it's mostly a matter of how long it takes to get things settled in at the new place. Fortunately, costs for the move itself are largely taken care of - it's just the usual grocery bills I need to worry about. The $1000 goal should cover paying off credit cards and paying for food in the meantime.

Pay-What-You-Want commissions, extended!
General | Posted 6 months agoHi! I was only going to run the PWYW thing until the end of October and aimed for $1600, and the good news is, I did make that goal! Unfortunately, I think I underestimated how much I need to get ahead on rent and bills, so I'm running it just a little bit longer. I'm aiming to get a total of $2000 (so $400 more), but if there's interest I might take a bit past that, too. Either way, please feel free to shoot me a message if you want something! I'm currently unemployed and as we're planning to move early next year to somewhere finances will be more stable, finding a job at this point is kind of a moot point - we just need to make it through the next couple months before things can get a little steadier.

11/26/25 update: Due to life events I'm going to have to delay any further commissions. I'll still take them, but as I'm going to spend December moving cross-country and my things will be in transit for about 2 weeks on top of that, new commissions will not be worked on until January.
So, my commission queue is nearly finished save for a couple of people and... I'm broke, ahahah. So I'm going to hopefully try and encourage more work by opening up PWYW commissions! This time around, since I don't have much of a queue waiting on me (and I intend to weave some of those in with the PWYW work as I go), I'm going to include tiers for people who want more than a monochrome sketch:

General | Posted 8 months agoJust a heads up - I've mentioned it in a few of my uploads lately but I've been running a Pay What You Want fundraiser for my monthly bills the last week or so and it's still going! I'll probably wrap it up in the next few days, but I still need more money, so if you'd like some art or just want to support me this is your opportunity! Home from trip and back in business!~
General | Posted 10 months agoJust a heads-up - my trip to the west coast is over, I'm back home, and although I am feeling a little under-the-weather I plan on getting back to work in the next couple of days finishing up the commissions that did not get done before I left. Apologies to anyone who's had to wait a little longer - plans were made on fairly short notice and I finished what I could. ^^;

General | Posted 10 months agoI know 100 doesn't sound like a lot in the grand scheme of things, but I've been doing art for a long time and it's the most I've ever garnered, so thank you for all the support. ;w;
I'd like to organize a raffle or something for when I get back from my trip in a couple of weeks - we'll see how it goes! I've never done one before so I will have to look into the logistics of such things.

Upcoming break!
General | Posted 11 months agoI will be taking a trip to visit someone very dear to me on June 10th, and I won't be back until the 24th. I plan on getting as many of my current commissions done as possible before leaving - but I can't really promise I'll be able to do much drawing while I'm there, so there may be a delay of a couple of weeks for those I can't get to. Since most of my current slate is sketches, it probably won't be a big problem, but any new commissions will have a sliiightly longer wait than usual. I'd like to take my tablet with me if for no other reason than personal sketches on my laptop, but we'll see how things work out! As mentioned, the last couple weeks have been a bit rough, but things are hopefully going to even out soon.
That said, I'm more than happy to continue taking on new commissions to work on when I get back! <3 They're still very much open.

General | Posted 11 months agoI've gained a nice bump in watchers over the last week as I've been uploading my older stuff to e621! Hi! Hope you all stick around and I hope you enjoy what you see ^-^ Almost to 100 finally, triple digits let's gooo! I'm just about finished uploading older things to e6, but hopefully the momentum sticks around when I just have occasional new things to upload...
On another note yes I am still open for commissions! And in fact I could do with a few, I'm almost finished with my current slate and I could really use some grocery + rent money! Artwork has been a little slow lately because a mix of depression and allergy season have been kicking my ass, but I'll be over it soon enough. And I'm still unemployed, so every little bit of money I have coming in helps a ton.
Maybe I'll do something when I eventually hit 100 watchers? I dunno what the normal thing to do for that is, I've never had 100 watchers before.

General | Posted 12 months agoIt is incredibly disheartening and frustrating that the site where I have the biggest following, however meager, has not let me upload any new art in almost a week now at a time when I've been drawing quite a lot and would love to have more traffic and commissions coming in. It's not feasible for me to leave FA entirely, but if you would actually like to see what I've been working on instead of read-only mode on a janky old website running on spaghetti code, once again, here is a list of my other art accounts I actively post to. As I mentioned previously, I recently moved! I'm now living with my formerly long-distance partner, who is now my wife! ♥ I proposed when I moved in at the start of February, and we got married on March 12th in a small courthouse wedding with a handful of close friends present. However, I am currently unemployed and she's unable to work, and we're living off my savings. We still have rent and groceries to pay for, and in order to have some sort of income in the meantime, I'm opening up for commissions! I'll be taking them for as long as my workload allows for it.
Primarily interested in drawing Pokemon, Digimon, or other cute little semi-feral creatures, but I might be open to anthros as well - I can draw them, I'm just less experienced. Open for anything from sketches to full art pieces, although the latter will understandably take more time to make. I still have only a very small following, so please feel free to spread the word if you know anyone who might be interested!

Life update
General | Posted a year agoThings have been quite active for me the last few months! I've still been drawing here and there, though I haven't uploaded in a while - I should have at least a couple things I can upload later to cover the gap. I did recently get back from vacation visiting my long-distance partner, however, and I am now trying to raise funds to help cover the eventual move to be closer to her. I don't have enough free time to commit to actual open commissions just yet, but I do have a Ko-Fi that anyone who'd like to help is welcome to drop in whatever they like. Anyone who donates $20 or more is welcome to leave a character reference either on the Ko-Fi message or noted to me here with a screenshot of proof of the donation, and I will give you a small sketch as a thank-you!

General | Posted 3 years agoIf you follow my content, it may become pretty obvious why I may view FA's recent policy changes less-than-favorably. Even if I don't draw much NSFW, I don't appreciate their conflating "small and cute" with "child-coded and underage", and odds are I'm going to either stop using the site entirely or at least minimize my footprint here. The way I see it, if they're axing NSFW art that isn't even underage, then the next on the chopping block will be feral art, which consists of most of what I draw, so I figure I'm better off widening my presence and not relying on FurAffinity.
I spent the evening filling out galleries on other sites, so here's where you can currently catch me! Things are still a little disorganized, but I'll probably work that out the next time I have free time.

Mass upload!
General | Posted 4 years agoApologies for both the inactivity and the sudden dump of artwork. I have been busy, I just haven't been inclined to upload much of it here... but as you can see, I have now! Generally artwork done of my Pokémon OCs, of which I have been on a designing kick these last couple months.
I do not often reply to complimentary comments or shouts I receive as I often don't know what to say beyond "thank you" and I have terrible social skills, but please know that I deeply appreciate any faves, comments, or watches that I am given. I just like having people enjoy my work! ♥
