So much time has passed since I was on here. Feels like forever ago. I miss coming to FA, and there are many great artists still on here as well.
I may have to be just a watcher for now, at least until I get another computer.

Well, I have been sketching off and on, and dealing with a new job. I should have something up soon though. Sorry for the lack of arts. x.x

Man, had a massive headache most of the weekend. No matter. I finally have another sketch worked out, and it's going to be another big drawing like the last one. I think after this one, I will focus on drawing some smaller scaled things, and work more on character design and story. I also need to to some more object research, basically trying to learn how to draw some things again.
I am also trying to figure out/decide on what the full extent of technology will be in this world. It will most likely be all advanced and such. If wondering what kind of world and technology, I would point to the kind of world and technology Johiji Manabe's Drakuun series has. Myriad of races, weapons, armor, technology, etc. I am also trying to decide if I want anything fully magic based, or based purely on advanced technology. Both would be fun.
Well, back to sketching. I leave you all with blueberry muffins. :D

I am going to be focusing more on comic like drawings from now on. I mean, sure, I will still draw a portrait or something like I usually do. However, I want to get back into drawing the stuff I used to draw. I want to create a cool world for my characters to inhabit. I am almost emulating that old 90's and 80's comic feel like you see in Record of Lodoss War, Shining Force, Drakuun/Outlanders/Caravan Kidd/, etc. The kind of fantasy world with technology, perhaps even some slight cyberpunk elements.
Of course, drawing a comic is very daunting, so I will most likely be doing very mini strips. Basically, it is just a few panels or couple of pages of whatever. It could be some characters randomly doing this, a villain doing that, and so on. This way, I can get a feel for the world and the characters. Then I can go from there and write in a huge world and some stories.
I miss the way old comics were: Cool artwork, worlds, how awesome the characters were and the character developments. The worlds may not always be super vast or super imaginative, but the adventure was thrilling and exciting. Characters really stood out, and the majority of them were memorable and lovable. Hell, even the villains were memorable. I wish to try and emulate these old comics, since they inspired me to draw in the first place. Recently, I was watching an old anime, and I swear this one chick you saw for only so many minutes, had more character and personality than most characters I have seen in recent animes and such.
Of course, my world will include all manner of species and such. Just like the Johji Manabe comics (Outlanders, etc) or the Shining Series did. I'm talking Anthro, elf, humans, half this and that, you name it. I remember drawing anthro characters before I even knew what "furry" was. I used to keep calling them "anthropomorphic characters" until one day the search engine showed "FURRY". Then I was like "o3o". Ha.
Anyways, just an update of where I am trying to go with my art. ^_^

Well, I am starting to wonder if I should discard some of my old characters and ideas, and start anew. I think I want to get back into the comic aspect of things again, since I really miss doing them. I may, for a short time, do mini strips of random characters doing random things. that way, I can get back into the flow of it again.
I will keep maybe a few old characters. I am definitely keeping Lucius lol.

Well, after finally checking out the site, I'm digging it. Pretty cool site, and I havent had another site to put my art on for a while.
I'm not leaving FA, however. I am just going to have 2 sites to post my work on. Besides, I have been on FA since like, 2007? Something like that. I dont see any reason to jump ship really.
Also, I am leaving a lot of my cherished really old art on FA. Weasyl will have some of my newer ones, and I am going from there. :3

Getting back on guitar and getting back on the tablet. Got some fun ideas to sketch out. I also am going to redesign some of my old characters.

Well, been juggling jobs (from Bjs now working at Bevmo, etc). I havent uploaded much in a long while, and I have been thinking on trying to go back to some of my old comic characters. I'm sure everyone has seen pics of Artemis, Roche, Lucius, etc. Those guys are from an old comic I tried to come up with, but ultimately failed.
My drawings have always been a mixture of humans, furry, etc. Old inspirations were games like shining force/shining soul, and comics like Drakkun and Outlanders by Johji Manabe (still one of my fave old artists).
I may go with a cyberpunk feel with the new comic ideas, but it is only if I can actually hash out some good plots, since drawing all of that takes a lot of time and work. For now I may just try reinventing the characters a
bit.

I am working through the week, usually not getting off until about 2am. x.x I am still trying to find some time to draw. I may just try to draw something simple for now. I also need to tweak my sleeping schedule a bit.

Past few weeks have been VERY hectic. I'm still trying to think of something to draw atm. I have been not in the best of moods, and very stressed, so I have been lacking the motivation to do much. However, I do love drawing, and want to draw something new eventually. not sure if it will be an action piece like the last one, or just more of a portrait or so.

I'm going to have some new art on the way, life has just been rather hectic as of late. :3

Whew, the past few days has been hectic and exhausting with my new work schedule. I am going to finish coloring the inked pic i posted, then start on another one that isnt so time consuming to draw.
I wonder what I should draw next..hmm...

Yeah, my time in between drawings is getting a tad ridiculous. I'm working on one now, and will hopefully have it completed this week. ^^ I'll prolly upload just the inked copy to my scraps or something.

I am going to attempt to do shading with the next drawing. I am so happy for  kisagi and  riverbreak's help and advice. <3 I love you guys!

I think I'm going to redraw some of my old characters. Whether they still have the same story and backgrounds or not is up in the air. I may just create new characters and go with a new theme or story arc.

I finally changed my avatar after so many years, it really needed it. With this new graphics tablet I am going to try and get new artwork up. However I am still new to tablets so the process may be slow. Either way it's good to be back. ^_^

Watching some of my friends draw (especially thanks to  KimmyMonstah) , makes me feel like drawing some of my characters and stuffs again. I gotta finds my sketchbook and mechanical pencil tho. I wish I had a tablet and stuffs.

In the past, I didnt really care to get to much involved with drawing my own fursona. But I suppose the time has come to at least draw a pic or two, since no one seems to know what my fursona is lol.
