a lot of people also do mugs and sell them on the same website, are there any of those (redbubble type) you could recommend ?

I mean getting posters and pins is pretty easy, but about mugs and shirts and pillows im not sure ?
I dont need that stuff now, I'm just curious where I'd get a good quality print :C

after the horror experience with Huion, I managed to get my hands on a wacom cintiq ♥

there are three things i preferred with the huion tab
-the viewing angle is much larger (without discoloration)
-it's more handy, less side space and a bit thinner (so if you really wanted you could put it on your lap)
-the stand. it was really nice. the wacom sits so high due to the stand and it can't really be leaned off of the table

other than that
-better pen presicion
-colors are... different. probably better, i havent quite found the right settings yet though. it's a little oversaturated / dark in some parts, but also that's not really an issue.
-no charging needed for the pen
-a freaking pen stand (halleluja)
-you can twist the tablet if you want to, but can also firmly attack it by putting screws in.
-both sides of the shortcuts are usable and deactivateable ! yesss
-the touch bar is in the back, so you dont accidentaly get onto it with your elbow
-the software actually works
-the software hasnt crashed
-the software hasnt crashed my pc

Selling Fanart:
It just bothers me. It's illegal, youre selling artwork of a copyrighted character without permission...
I "hate" this so much. I dont want to sell illegal fanart, but so many big artists do and its impossible to keep up with that kind of competition.
Thats all that im gonna say to this i think all of you get my point here.


Patreon
Some of you might remember that i had a Patreon a little while ago, yet it stressed me out so much because i just overloaded myself with work.
A friend of mine, Moorrito , has a nice System of using Points to manage their Patreon. I find that such a good Idea. Also: as soon as I get like prints and charms of my work, I will include those in Patreon too !
But what i can include even now is Buttons/ Magnets as an option of "Merch". I'll just design one / two each month and include them in some rewards.

I'll have to figure a good system out since I don't always have too much time due to school.
A nice alternative I have atm is ko-fi, which i do raffle pieces of artwork to the monthly pledgers ^^


Future Plans with my Artwork
I really want to sell charms and prints in the future and maybe even attend cons. The con thing wont happen until next year or even later and will also first stay local i guess, but thats not the point rn xD.

I had the idea of little acrylic charms that were sea-creature themed. Who doesn't like a cute wale or seal ? ;3; i already planned one mermaid one and a wale, but before i order them I'll upload the designs and might try a preorder signup thing (even if that one doesnt do too well ill still order them bc i really want some merch).

Then Prints.
Ive wanted to do a Queen of Cookies Card design for a while now, but when i got the idea of printing it i thought that it would make such a good business card ?
Also i want to be able to sell some prints of my artwork, even if its just postcards ect, for example my featured submission would be perfect for that (maybe even the one i uploaded afterwards, but that includes the char of a friend and id have to ask them if theyre okay with it)


All of these things are goals i want to achieve, which is also why I'm back to social media again. I'm trying to get a wider audience, which i should have before selling these charms etc xD but i always start with things like these too early soooo

And yes. Id like to sell my art for more again. But some drawings just dont turn out at all and id feel so bad for the person paying a "proper amount" to get something that im not happy with

Also if i raised prices, especially on my buttons, nobody would buy them.

I might start just doing more YCH's just so i can draw images i feel like doing and practice full illustrations more
