I removed my prices because I was selling way too cheap and before i haven't thought out a FAIR pricerange I will not continue having these prices up but only give them out on request.

so.
We all know redrawing bids from auctions is a shitty thing, no matter what you do or why it is.
You should have checked your PayPal before, or thought about bills that might come in previous to bidding.
However
If you do have to redraw for whatever reason- just message the artist.
Just say "Hey, I'm very sorry I had to withdraw my bid on (...) because (...)"
that's all it takes. Is that too much to ask ? Most artists are very understanding. Just tell them why ! It's so nice to know that there's another human being at the end of the screen withdrawing a bid with a reasoning. It shows that you care about the artist.
Not messaging them and withdrawing a bid pretty much seems like "Screw you, artist. I'll withdraw the money i promised you"

so just take those two minutes to message them. It helps.

So my mom and i were thinking / hoping that this would be over in like 3 days...

Im in a lot of pain and i cant really walk much or move or whatever

So the art delay that i now 2 months large is growing further.
Gladly, one person whos been waiting this long i havent asked to pay yet, but the other one already has.
I am still and as always when my commissioners wait long (its never been this long) deeply sorry. I thought of that quite a few times.
I am german, which is why charging Euro would make more sense for me (also as i would get the money i actually want to charge lol)
but comparing -
getting a shaded fullbody from me would then be 47USD instead of 40 :o and that i find to be quite a lot (of change)
ofc i could then lower the prices if i decide to charge in EUR, but at the same time i could just raise the prices.
THEN ofc if i took 37€ instead of 40 (when changing the currency) it wouldnt be too much more expensive (43USD instead of 40) and I'd always get the same amount of money (as USD worth changes for me, but 37€ is 37€)

So yesterday i went to a party. Met a dude who asked me if i didnt just want to sleep in his car (he was so tired he wouldnt have done anything else than sleep anyways). So we went there, i put my bag in his car and went back to the party to get something. When i came back his biddy was sleeping next to him and i woke them and asked for my bag.
When they finally found it i was sure i had my glasses in that bag before, it wasnt there now. I thought: maybe its still in my moms car (because thats the last place where i coulve left it) so when she picked me up i immediately checked the backseat. It wasnt there.
SO i was like FUCK. A GUY WHO'S TRAVELLING TO SPAIN ON MONDAY HAS MY GLASSES.
so when i got home i also checked the kitchen table but they werent there.
The next morning i texted my classmate who is the bestfriend of the dude and asked him to check on it.
An hour later i decide to tell my mom (i didnt want to immediately because 500€ new glasses.. she wouldve freaked out) and she went "oh i took them with me! I put them away-"

I mean before i start there may be a chance on saturday (which is two days after my bday) but iz kinda still upsets me

So i never needed any huuuge parties. Last year i just had my two friends, we ate cake, went to the movies and chilled for the rest of the day / night.

Now my birthday itsself wont work (Thursday). It rarely ever did but thats normal. I have school til 4:40pm and we all have to get up at 6am so its not the best idea.
Friday wouldve been ideal: wed all only have 4 lessons (7:30-11am) BUT one of my friends will be working that day. Then saturday we planned to visit my aunt (which might not work). Sunday wont work either and after that, my other friend is gone for a week and ill be dealing with my drivers license.
Now celebrating one week after is... just too long ;-; idk

At least we're going to go eat ice cream with my chemistry teacher on thursday. ;3;

So i took my last test in school today so I AGAIN HOPE THAT MOTIVATION WILL BE GOING UP
ive been saying this way too much and sadly grades do still count (otherwhise i could just stop worrying completely which would be great)

Considering how hard it has been for me to just sit down and draw for more than 2 minutes, i guess you could call this an art block.
Sadly i can't just drop the work that i still have to do, otherwhise I'd do it. For my and my commissioners sake.

So I've had this idea that will fit right into my experimental phase
Its gonna be dark with glowy lanterns (the ones that fly)
And a character in one corner with one of those hovering above their hand.

Now i have two options: selling it to one person and drawing their character (ill probably make it very cheap and hope that multiple people are interested so i can pick a character that i think will fit best OR
Drawing it with a random character and letting people donate whatever they want to get the Full Res Version. (Wich probably wont work that well but who knows)

Just wanted to throw that out there, maybe get some feedback. But my FA has been getting less and less active and so are my watchers. I have never gotten many comments on journals, maybe im just overreacting xD

I will do a kind of experimental phase.
i want to practive backgrounds, i want to try candy gore and idk just have fun with my art !
I might do some PWYW YCH kinda things so people have an idea of what im planning but yeah ! :D

I just need some time to enjoy the art im doing and get on with practicing, which is also why they probably will be pretty cheap. (also because the backgrounds might look horrible)

I don't know if that will work well but i think i don't really care. It'll be more about me focussing on practice than earning money :D
