Going to MFF? Want something for free?
Posted 11 years agoMy interest in creating key jewelry has faded and I need to make room for my pyrography passion. I will be selling wares at MFF in Artist Alley, including my key jewelry at clearance prices.
So then, what's for free?
If you are going to MFF this year and are interested in key jewelry, leave a comment here with your badge name. I will write it down, and if you find me at MFF, I will let you pick one piece of jewelry for free! And as a holiday bonus, you can add the badge name of a friend to the list with you.
So, leave your MFF badge name, the badge name of a friend (if you want), and look for me at MFF.
See you there!
Good while it lasted
Posted 11 years agoThis little business project will be falling back into the title of small, occasional hobby. I don't really have much of a passion for it anymore and have found a new craft that brings me greater pleasure. I will still be selling the pieces, but they are now from a limited supply.
Thank you my few watchers who supported me. I hope my new art will capture you as my jewelry did.

MFF success! Work to be done!
Posted 12 years agoI took my wares to MFF again this year and I did fairly well. Earned enough for goodies as well as plenty to order more of my materials. Sadly I realized that some of the pieces I sold I had not gotten the chance to photograph, but we learn. I also learned to not have such visually noisy table cloths.
This week will be a week of updates galore since I now have the time. My etsy account is being built and Paypal waiting to be officially set up. Also with more regular income I hope to set up that P.O box I've been wishing for.
Work! Work! Work!

Sorry for being quiet
Posted 12 years agoLife has been crazy, but it's been fixed enough where I can start posting things again! I'll be doing updates of image uploads and prices over the next few days/weeks. I shall soon have a paypal and etsy account and will post a new journal for when I will be ready to take purchase orders.
See you then!
mini MFF report
Posted 13 years agoMy full report is going to be in my blog, but this is bout how selling went.
I didn't get into Artist Alley until the last few hours on Saturday, but I at least sold 4 necklaces and got many a praise. Next year I will be aiming for more time on more days. I still see it as a good success for my debut.

Chain has been acquired!
Posted 13 years agoI got my chain order today! Huzzah! I'll be stringing up more necklaces Sunday or Monday. I might not be able to post images of them that week though as my camera is being borrowed and I'll be hectic getting ready for MFF. I'll also be waiting to post prices to see what items make it out of MFF with me. I can post what they sold for though for those who might be curious.
Also my key donation container for my selling debut will be my little dark butterfly Hello Kitty lunchbox purse thing. I'll tape a little 'DONATION BOX' sign to it or something.
If you see my table at MFF and see a girl with glasses in hat and gray squirrel tail with a badge saying "Deadly-Moogle", say hi!

Finally! More chain soon!
Posted 13 years agoI finally scrounged up enough money to order more chain. So more product photos will be posted soon! I will also be pricing already posted items soon too. I still can't do online sales/shipping yet until early April.
Happy November!
Happy November!
*~*Got some keys you don't really want anymore?*~*
Posted 13 years agoWell don't throw them out!
I will be having a key donation where if you have keys with no use anymore, I'll take them off your hands (or paws, or fins, or what have you). Your donation will be greatly appreciated as it gives me more material to create my pieces. It does not matter the shape, size, type, age, or condition (as long as it isn't completely made of rust). House key, lock key, diary key, luggage key, random key that's just been cycled through the house.
As long as it really is a proper key and you are 100% certain that you don't, nor anyone else, need to use that key for anything anymore. Once a key is donated I will not be able to guarantee that it can be returned to you.
To donate a key you can look for me at events and plop it in the container that will be marked "Key Donations". Or, if you send me a photo (or link to photo) of the keys and a request to donate I can send you an address to mail the keys to.
There is a possibility that I will give discounts on my merchandise based on the number of keys you donate. If you mail the keys, I won't give the discount until I have actually received the keys.
So please tell your friends, look around your home, or just keep an eye out for cheap old keys at garage sales. I really appreciate it.
Pain for Chain
Posted 13 years agoThis is mainly to push the 4th of July journal off my page.
I'm still trying my best to scratch up some money for chain so I can get more of my many finished pieces ready for viewing/sale. With debts and MFF preparation costs it's not exactly easy at the moment. Luckily though, while digging through the basement, I'm starting to find extra chain that is salvageable. Didn't find much, but it still helps.
Also, question for readers: What chain length do you prefer for bracelets?

Happy Independence Day America!
Can't do online selling yet
Posted 13 years agoI've had a few people asking if I do online orders. Sadly, as much as I really want to, I can't do that for a few months.
In order to make a PayPal account you have to at least be 18 years of age. I am only about 17 years and 3 months of age. This is one of those situations where I feel if I lie about my age it will nip me in the butt later on. So it'll be in-person sales for a while. But the moment March 30th comes I swear I shall make that account and the online sales will begin! Also I'm still in the process of pricing and making things so it kinda works out for me.
Until then, I will be updating on where I will be selling. At the moment the selling day debut will hopefully be held in November at Midwest Furfest.
Sorry if this disappoints some of you. /o_o\

Happily Surprised
Posted 13 years agoI'm honestly surprised that my jewelry got such positive feedback on the first day. I have quite a good number of pieces that will be ready for show soon. I just have to order more chain and get them strung up. I'll try to figure out prices when I can, I'm just mainly in the making stages at the moment.
I do plan to try and sell these up at Midwest Furfest in November this year. It will sort of be my selling debut. Then after that, who knows. :3
Many thanks to everyone again! Toodles!
