Lately I've been feeling sort of... distant.... from K'eyush. I looked through my gallery of all the pictures I've had commissioned of her, and it just felt off. K'eyush is not a character, she is me. She is supposed to be my spiritual form, in a sense, so she should be like me. So what I noticed that felt wrong was that... well, in almost every picture I have of her, she looks happy. And, well, unfortunately, I'm not generally a very happy person. Even though it might be nicer to look at when she looks happy or cute, that really isn't me... and it's made me feel a little disconnected, now that I've realized it. I guess I need to commission some pictures of her looking kind of depressed, lonely, or even angry... I'm hoping that'll help me feel more connected to her, because that unfortunately is more like me. Sigh... hopefully that's all I need to do.

On another note, my friend's mom paid me to help her give her cats a flea bath and spray down her house, so I made some extra cash today. I have deep scratches all over my arms, and had to throw away my flannel because it was literally in tatters, but hey, money XD

Every time I put the game in, it says it can't read the SD card and to quit the game and try again. Every time. I've tried cleaning the cartridge and blowing into the slot, but it doesn't work :( my other 3ds games will work, just not this one. So sad X(

Well, it may just be badly sprained, but either way I'm in a cast and can't move it. So... I can't draw, paint, or write. I don't know what the hell I'm going to do with myself, as those are the only ways I really have to release my frustration and anxiety. So, fuck me.

So, a couple weeks ago, I preordered for Rainfurrest, and paid the full $35 for preregistration. However, it turns out I can't actually go after all. I don't really want to be down $35 and not get anything for it, so I was wondering if I could sell my membership to someone else? I have no idea whether there are any rules against this or not, so I figured I'd ask you guys. If it turns out there's nothing wrong with selling it, I'd probably do it for $25 or so.

Next Sunday I'll be going to a reptile expo in Chico, and I can't wait! I'm majorly into herpetoculture, and I have a special affinity for snakes, so this will be awesome! Apparently they will have an event where you can get your picture taken with a green anaconda, so I'll definitely be doing that^^ There will certainly be pictures!

Sooo, one of my coworkers never showed up to work today, and never called. He's someone who's usually pretty on top of his shit, so this is very unusual for him. I wasn't working today, but all of my coworkers who were either called or texted me asking me to find out where he was, because he and I are very close. I texted him around noon today, and still haven't gotten a response.... also very unlike him. I'm going to stop by his place in a few minutes to see if he or his boyfriend are there, and hopefully find out what the hell is going on... but I'm really worried that something may have happened to him :(

I recently sent a down payment for a fullsuit, making it official - K'eyush will be coming to life. I would like to refrain from saying who I've commissioned to make her at this time, but I will say that they are a very talented, well-respected fursuit maker. More info will come later. I'm so excited! :D

Also, I went to the San Francisco street fair in Japantown today, which was simultaneously hosting a gaymer con. Saw a couple of fursuiters there, which just made me all the more excited for my own suit! Eeee!
