Insomnia is setting in but I had this little idea....I wanted to do a PCA Character sheet for my group as Seniors. Just for fun mind you. Im gonna post them now so I dont forget

For the past year or maybe a little less I have been fighting major writers block, its like any idea i start I just couldnt finish

But something has changed and I have been writing up a storm lately, some clean, some naughty but it feels so good to be writing again.

My first project is to post a series of PCA-ish stories I have been working on since last summer and Im hoping everyone likes them. Mpore to come and lots of naughtyness as well

I got a note today from a dear friend who is seeking people to make commissions so that they have some breathing room and grocery money. Their prices are reasonable and I promised Id get word out best i could so give them a look, here are their journals on prices.

Last Wed. I had to go "under the knife" to repair a hernia on my stomach area, a week of pain followed by a small infection...I know this will come as a shock to you all....SUCKS!

Well this is it, as a late B-day gift me and mine are going to the Texas Renaissance Festival for Halloween. I cant wait to get there and I'll see you all Monday and tell you all about it *giggles and waves* Have a good Halloween everyone

To the Judges, Artist, both prizes and those who entered my PCA contest I am sorry, I decided in the days following the closing of the contest to cancel it overall.

I had such high hopes and thank the few who sent in their pictures and stories, but it wasn't enough to really validate the concept of the contest. I wish I didn't have to do this but it was just too hard what with lack of apparent interest in the subject, so few entries, and with others giving me too much input on how the contest should have been run.

Again I am terribly sorry for apparently wasting your time in the hopes of doing something fun, but....I just wish it had been different.

Given the nature of the contest and talking with a fellow judges I have decided to lengthen the deadline to June 24th See previous journal for info

Concept: The PCA world is well known for its events such as the Winter Formal, Spring Fair, etc etc. But what about other events the students of the school might be interesting in visiting.

Welcome one and all to the PRF, or Pokemon Renaissance Fair! Here everyone from students, teachers and everyday Mon are welcome to participate in a living, breathing world of History and Fantasy.

Length of Contest: Begins: May 1st
Ends: May 29th

Winners will be announced first week of June

Artists and Writers are welcome

Rules:
1: Have fun with it! Submissions can be as simple or detailed as you like

2: Appropriate outfits are a must. Subjects can be dressed in period outfits, Movie replicas, anything Medieval inspired. No sci-fi or such

3: You can draw any Mon you wish, doesn’t have to be a student or a teacher.

4: Single or Group “shots” are allowed, but participants are limited to no more than four submissions

5: Tasteful showing of flesh is allowed, but no complete nudity .

6: If you are writing we are accepting short stories

7: Send links to pictures or pictures themselves to KhaleenCabbit on FA and she will pass them to other judges.

((I have been to a few Ren Fairs personally and love the environment and creativity
you get to see there, I know the contest has a long time frame, but I really want to see what people can come up with.))

Yup I finally got off my tush and re wrote my PCA Team Viridian's profiles and bios since  januspeldragon was so kind to draw my team model sheets.

Nothing big, just talking with Janus and after helping him with his character Adam I have decided to redo my PCA character Sheets, the Attacks will remain the same but Im gonna rework a few things to their bios to make them more believable, other than that nothings going to change, im moving my old ones to my scraps

Seeing as how I started this last month and said I'd keep it going I again searched for an artist who might not be as well known as some, but whose skill is something I believe people should see. Now this does not mean whenever I do one of these that it will always be an "unknown" artist. I feel I should turn it into a kind of suggestion thing where I would like others to see artist I enjoy.

I have to say though for my second one it came to a tie between an atist and a writer for me.

Yami is a very kind writer who has posted a wonderful story and was so kind as to write me a great story that I must get around to putting in my gallery one day soon.

IrishNeko is an artist whose work i found one evening when i was looking for something perticular, mainly mares in bondage *snickers* IN has a perfectly drawn picture in their gallery and upon closer looks much more worth wild art. aside from the picture itself I love their WIP and enjoy the use of their sharp lines which soften and turn into wonderful pics.

Neither Yami nor IrishNeko knew I was going to write this journal so I hope they will forgive me and I will remove it if asked. but for any reading this I encourage you to go check both out for your enjoyment.

Ok I know many may do this, but I have come to a new realization that there are some artists who deserve a look at. Now of course it is impossible for me to cover every Artist on FA even though I would love to. But What I want to do is let others know about Artist I have found who I feel others should see.

I mean a majority of anyone on here is aware of  bbmbbf ,  EWS ,  maxblackrabbit , and  ebonyleopard who I admit are all wondeful artist and love their and many others' wonderful artwork.

But anyone reading this should go check out  januspeldragon , i discovered his site purly on chance and love his work. He has a different style and much of his stuff can be describe as a little extreme, but still anyone willing check out a new artist click the link.

I have found him to be a rather polite and a funny person who enjoys nothing more than a comment or two on his work. Like many he is the kind of Artist who wishes feedback so he can better his work.

So lets all band together and support Artist like this who take time to grace the net with their hard, but talent filled work

seeing as how my first true art contibution on FA looks pretty bad, I'm going to try coloring the original lined version with colored pencils to see if i can do a better job :D

Ever just have one of those weeks where nothing goes right....Mine just started.

Sunday evening I finnally finished 4 seperate stories i have been working on, I was really happy with all of them. instead of posting them right away (cause I have to check with other people first to make sure I represented their characters right) i decided to save them and go to bed, so i shut down my laptop and went off to dream my little cabbit dreams.

When I awoke monday morning, I started up my laptop and began trying to boot up, but it wouldn't do anything, so i tried to restore it from a restore point...nothing, tried a boot disk....nothing, called Artie....nothing.

I took it to another family friend who has been working on computers since the dawn of time (seriously he is a wonder) and late last night he tells me not only did my computer have a virus, but he thinks i may have a problem with my hard drive (i can be assured he is honest cause he doesnt charge me for his work but i pay him anyway) so now i have lost everything on my laptop, including those 4 wonderful stories *cries* its just gonna be a bad week.

Well if you check my gallery you will notice four wonderful pics by  ebonyleopard and I have been working on bios for each while he has been at hard work. While writing the bio for the team captain, the black arcanine, i found a central focus on how he got his scar.

This has indeed sparked a muse cause now I want to write the story in its entire focus. but this also leads to a new problem.

I wish to find an artist willing to take on a picture showing the battle in a form, i Have the image in my head and would love to hear from anyone willing, we can talk more about it if there is an interested party.

Well after much procrastinating and other crud such as re-writing a lost story I have finally got off my tail and wrote two new stories. check them out >^.^<

Ive been sad for the past couple of days.

I found out that, Tuesday I think, Gary Gygax, the co creator of Dungeons and Dragons died. Many of my friends and I used to play D&D and its how we deepened our long standing friendships. Its not often that something causes us all to get together, since we all live in various parts of the state, but this weekend we are all getting together, dressed as our character >:) yes we went to many a ren fair dressed like that. and pay our humble respects to a great man who despite many contoversies surrounding his game created a wonderful time for those who play.

So i encourage all those to take a little time, raise a coke (or Mountain Dew) and thank the spirit of a good man.
