Settled in
Posted 6 years agoIt’s been awhile!
I’m all settled in and just posted a wave of my art I’ve done recently. I am mostly active on Twitter and you can find me UtasArt if you’d like to follow me there!
Commissions are closed for all but the two Halloween YCHs I’ll be putting up, I just got my 3D printer and so I’ll be focusing on that for a bit~

Big Move
Posted 7 years agoSo I’ll be moving at the end of February from Alaska to Washington and it’ll be a heck of a drive. So I’m opening for several commission types to help get my car ready. The tires I’d like to get are gonna cost me $690 alone, I could go cheaper but it’s a 1400+ mile drive and this time of year both my home state and Canada are gonna be snowy so the better the tire the safer my drive.
if you don’t see a commission type you want feel free to ask! Anything will help really~

New journal I suppose~
Posted 7 years agoSo I got an iPad, not a pro as I got word they might be releasing something new. I figured if it was a new pro then the old ones should drop in price, but I was pleased to hear it was a cheaper version that was compatible with the Apple Pencil. I know there was a bit of talk amongst the artist community surrounding whether or not there would be noticable lag, and I’m happy to say I don’t notice it at all unless make long strokes from corner to corner as quickly as I can.
Over all I’m incredibly pleased with it, it’s an amazing little work machine that’s light weight and portable~

Goals, cause we all need one right?

With the release of the procreate app it's actually made me really excited to get one. However even a refurbished can be pricey, upwards of $600, not including the pencil. So I've decided I'm going to save up my funds from my commissions specifically for this, and hopefully have one in hand by some time mid next year :3
It should be a fun endeavor with a nice outcome~
Dakimakura Commissions
Posted 8 years agoCommission Journal
I'm currently open for two Dakimakura commissions. I'm opening these in a short window, I'll be placing an order for Dakis soon and know I could finish two more in that timeframe. They take about a week each to make and would be done in time to place the order.
A doublesided dakimakura is $200, and the daki itself would be $25 to create and ship to you, so $225 before shipping. I can only leave this open until 10/27/17, any later and I won't be able to order on time. The slots will remain open, however I won't be able to order it at such a low cost. My next large order will be in late January/early February.

Slot 2:
Please comment or message me for a slot or more information!

Uploads and such
Posted 8 years agoSo I've been utilizing my FA account more, as those following me can tell. I've cleaned up my gallery a bit and moved a ton of things into scraps, my need to post WIPs were consuming everything X3 I'm still progressing on the Link/Sidon piece as well as my last few Anthro pieces I'd like to finish before Anime Expo rolls around. Might disappear again as I try to complete the remaining Overwatch pieces, I need to make them top priority again or all 24 won't be done on time.
I'm alive ;w;
Posted 9 years agoMostly~
I just got back from tabling at my first convention, an artist alley at Senshicon up here in Alaska. I've been dedicating most of my time to fanart as of late, so I won't really be updating FA much :/ To be honest I haven't really been updating any of my art sites sooo....But it was a ton of fun! I came away in the green and am shooting for other tables in the states now :3
I've also been dealing with a headache that won't go away. On most days it's just pressure in one spot but on others, like the last day of my convention, it's migraine level. And I can't take anything for it or I'll make the stomach erosion I have worse ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Damned if I do dammed if I don't. So that's been slowing my art production down. If doesn't go away after a week after I get new eye wear then we'll do an MRI.
So that's about it then~

Seller beware PayPal
Posted 9 years agoOr at least thier most recent shady practice which you can see here ---> https://mobile.twitter.com/BITTER_T.....35829387079680
They've added a new option to select adult content, and if you do they shut down your account.
So just be carful for those that sell their wares in a store setting :(
So a paypal alternative for artist would be something like square or Cash App, which I offer as a payment choice, or something like Bitcoin.

Axentwear Headphone winner....
Posted 10 years agoSelling my Cintiq 12wx and headphone giveaway
Posted 10 years agoHey guys! So I'm getting a new Cintiq with a larger screen and will be selling my old one for $450 or best offer! The screen itself is in perfect condition, no missing pixles or discoloration. There are some mild scuffs around the sides and some wear on the actuall pen. I'm it's second owner and looking to give it a third :3 I'll post pictures and link them as soon as I get a chance to do so.
The headphones are here! I'll do the drawing for them sometime next week so you have from now until then to take a commission from me to be entered in :3
And that about sums it up! I'll have some new art up after I get home from my vacation~

Whiney Journal with nothing of note here.
Posted 10 years ago*sigh* I really hate not being able to give people things. And I don't mean for things like the mandated holidays, just generally speaking things they want at random. I have a friend whose going through a good yet stressful time trying to get started on his T and thats eating away at all of his free funds. He really wants to go to the DEG concert in Toronto but it would be too costly for him right now with everything else. I wish I could pay for his ticket, his travel, and his hotel so he could go see them and destress a bit....But that is life I suppose. I know he's happy with finally getting to see a therapist and have treatment, but I know how stressful that kinda financial burden can be. It's one of the few things that makes me wish I had a killer nice paying job, I mean buying myself stuff is always nice, but I have so many friends and loved ones I'd like to help out you know?
I just had to get that out there, typeing into the ether so to speak.

Fellow artist is in need!
Posted 10 years agoAlrighty, to my few FA followers we have an artist on here who just had her credit card info stolen and lost nearly $400 of much needed funds, especially since she now has a sick pet in dire need of care.
is currently selling off a large selection of her characters, as well as most of the art attached to them, for pretty cheap.
will also be opening up for another YCH soon to help raise funds for her as well!
You can check out her journal entry here ---> http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7122630/ Take a look and see if there's one you like, or if you can please signal boost her!
Thank you!!

Art Flood
Posted 10 years agoI just flooded my scraps with a ton of art for my character folders. I did this primarily so that when I try and commission people I don't have to go to three separate sites/accounts looking for it all.
Looking to commission an Icon for this account
Posted 10 years agoBut I'm having a damnable time find someone who does something painterly that is open or that does seasonal or holiday themes. If you know anyone open for either a fall or preferably Halloween please drop me a line!
So, I'm alive.
Posted 10 years agoNot as well as I could be but I'm headed in what I'm hoping is a good direction. As a few of you know I haven't had the best mental heath the past few months. I've been seeing a behavior health specialist as well as a psychiatrist and the end decision that I made was to go onto anti-depressants. It's been a far more comfortable road since I started them. I have also been working two jobs, which started at around the same time as my prescription, so I only have around 8 hours a week total to sit in front of my computer to draw, so there's that too. It'll continue like this until the first week of December, which is when I'll be switching to my new job as my only job.
The Axentwear headphone giveaway is still a go, and they have an official release date finally. They will ship between the 17th-27th of November this year, and I'll do the drawing for them after I leave my second job behind. So anticipate for it to be done on the 6th or 7th of December~ Information on the giveaway can be found here ---> http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6268222/
Due to the two jobs taking up my time I won't be streaming art anytime soon, so all commissions will be taken via email or note only until December. Sorry if you've been hoping for some new art to watch in stream to those of you that were regulars.
I'm also looking at getting a new tablet and will be putting my old one, a Wacom Cintiq 12wx, up for sale for $400 or $450. I'll post a new journal for when that happens.

Going to be AFK for a little bit longer...
Posted 11 years agoThings have gotten kind of crazy on my end of things. My birthday weekend landed immediately after Black Friday, got a new loft bed so the computer has been disconnected while it's been built. Now I'm swinging into Christmas. While I will be doing art, I won't be streaming again until January.
Art to do offline:
Finish my evolving critters
Finish traditional water color cards for donation
Finish design for Rowan
Complete travel gift piece
Complete Line entry
All in about...two weeks for everything? *sigh*

Thank you for following me and a bit about (RED)
Posted 11 years agoThank you to all of my old followers that are watching me from my old account, and to all my new followers that have recently found me~ ^_^
All of the art I wish to transfer has been uploaded so everything should be new and exciting from this point on! I've got a really, really, REALLY long stream planned next Friday and my goal is 24 hrs. I plan on doing art to raise funds for (RED), the organization that works to combat AIDS.
Here's a small excerpt from their site:
"(RED) was created to help provide a sustainable flow of money from the private sector to fight AIDS. We’ve raised over $275 million to date through the sale of (RED) products from iconic companies - like Apple and Starbucks – and from (RED) events. And 100% of that money goes to work on the ground."
I'll have a list of goals set up that will would range from 'realistic' to 'not a snowflakes chance in hell'. I'm hoping the stream can be a fun one for people to chat and enjoy each others company while I make some art.
I'll be selling $10 head shots, and people can choose to donate more per piece if they wish. I have a brand new PAYpal account set up (same name as this account) and will be screen capping it from ground zero (zero funds in it) as well as the final amount raised and the receipt from (RED) proving the donation of those funds in that amount!
And if I'm still awake and people are online and interested by the end of the 24 hr mark I will continue to draw!
Anyone who wants to spread the word about this event can, and that would be awesome if you did! Every commissioner is also going to be entered into my drawing for a pair of axent wear headphones as these will count as commissions from me~
I think that about sums up this journal for now~ :3

Axent Headphone Giveaway
Posted 11 years agoIf you're unfamiliar with what these are here's their Indiegogo campaign https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/.....ear-headphones
So I'll be doing a giveaway for a pair of Axent Wear Cat Ear Headphones to one of my Commissioners! This applies to both past (which have already been marked down for their entries) and future commissioners. I'll draw the name of the winner in April when I get the headphones physically on hand. This all depends on if they keep their production time on schedule mind you, as that is out of my control it could be longer.
Here's how you get an entry:
For every commission you get from me you will receive one entry. That's it! There is no limit to the number of entries you are entitled to. It does NOT matter what kind of commission or how much that commission is worth. A $10 commission and a $25 dollar commission will both only be valued at 1 entry.
Contest ends when I receive the headphones from Axent Wear, this should be in April 2015 but could be later (or earlier!)
Call Me Khaos
Posted 11 years agoDoing a mass upload right now. At least as much as my patience can stand with the 60 sec cool down time. I'm moving from an old account and have plenty of art to upload.

Refurral Program
Posted 11 years agoI would like to start a Refurral(referral pun :D) program.
For those that have commissioned me you can refurr a friend and receive $2 off your next commission...and the stack up to $20 per character :3 So lets say you refurr 10 people who all commission me, you would have $20 refurred dollars. You the commission me for one full colored Iron Artist which is $25 and you choose to used your refurred dollars on that commission, it would only cost you $5! Lets say you have the same scenario but you have $26 refurred dollars, you would still pay $5 for a full color Iron Artist as you can only use $20 per character.
How this works:
So you tell people about my art in one form or another, maybe you posted the image I drew for you or a friend made mention of wanting to commission someone but don't know who. You tell them about me and the refurral program. Telling them about the refurral program is an important detail. They email me with any info on what they would like commissioned AS WELL AS stating this is a refurral and including YOUR username/site that you are from. Each individual will have their own spreadsheet located within their commissioner folder on both my PC as well as a back up drive.
You may only receive the $2 refurral dollars per USER not per piece they commission. You will also not receive the refurral dollars if the refurred friend cancels their commission before it's midway point for a refund. Refurred dollars will only count once the piece has been completed and sent out to the refurred friend.
I reserve the right to cancel this program at ANY TIME as I see fit.
