Posted 16 years agoSo, I work at Mcdonalds. There are these drinks called iced coffee there. I don't make it a habit to consume the corporation's products, but tonight I caved and bought myself a 16 oz. Iced Caramel Coffee with extra caramel syrup (I can't stand bitter coffee). Now, I don't drink coffee much at all anyways, so I have little tolerance built up to caffeine. Let me tell you what makes up an iced coffee:
Double the caffeine as regular coffee
Cream (about 1 fl. ounce)
Sugary syrup (about 2 fl. ounces of it... 3 with extra syrup)
Some ice
So I've found pure evil... and it is called Mcdonalds' Iced Coffee. Now you have KAFFEINE KRAZED KHRIS! >:) >:) >:) >:) >:D
Now you know that I have found Satan in pure form!

Posted 16 years ago1) What was your FIRST video game console?
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES for short). I love the controllers on it.
2) Name a few games you played on said console.
Killer Instinct, Donkey Kong (can't remember which one it was), Super Mario Kart, Super Mario Bros. 3, Mario is Missing!, and Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past.
3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?
I currently own 5, the Gamecube, PS2, PS1 (still have it), Nintendo 64, and the SNES.
4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?
No, I never was much of a fan of fighting games.
5) Do you think Capcom is a FUCKING awesome company with ''creating characters that looks so good you forget to focus on the game?''
I would definitely say so, especially since the Resident Evil series comes to mind.
6) Here's the scenario.. You had some friends over and you all ate FRIED CHICKEN! After the meal you all decide to play some video games. As your friend reaches for a controller you notice his/her hands are very "greasy." Are you the type that would insist they wash their hands before pawing the controller, or is it no big deal?
Oh hell YES! Grease stays on a controller and it makes it all gross.
7) What's your favorite RPG/Action RPG? I will allow a second and third fave if you insist.
It's tough because the two series that I love have been and still are staples of my gaming experiences. In the end though, I would say Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is my top favorite.
8) Do you prefer 2D games or 3D games?
Graphics don't really matter, as long as gameplay controls aren't farked up and the game is fun in general

Nope

I actually have never played it, believe it or not.

Nope, because I rarely ever played a fighting game at an arcade. I was always a fan of the shooters.

I would love to see Killer Instinct remade correctly. 007: Golden Eye would be pretty sweet too with modern day graphics. FF XIII would be awesome to see updated.

Sorry, but I have to stick with the red hat-wearing plumber on this one. Sonic's only good for throwing at children.
17) When a movie shows up in the theaters, let's use Spider-Man as an example, are you likely to buy the GAME version?
Hell no. Games based on movies are notorious for sucking balls, and they hold true to their reputation!
18) What is your LEAST favorite genre of video games? (ex. fighting, sports, shooters, etc.)
Sports above all. I just really don't enjoy those at all. The only exceptions are the Mario sports games, except Soccer because that game sucked balls.
19) Is there a game out there that you feel was unique and didn't get enough love?
I wasn't too knowledgeable about the gaming scene way back when, but I get the inkling that Killer Instinct just didn't get the attention it deserved.

I think this only happened once, but I seriously can't remember which game it was. I think it was either Final Fantasy X or X-2, but like I said, I can't remember. The reason would be because it was moving in a sad way.

My Furry World meme

It is about the size of earth with four continents and seven nations. The nations are based off of cultures in the real world and generally have "native" populations associated with the regions those cultures are based in. Some nations are more highly advanced than others, one in particular more so than the rest. Despite that there are "natives", there are foreign species that will have long since made their homes in the different nations. Religions also vary depending on cultures and nations.
1. Do humans exist in your furry world? If so, how do they treat/how are they treated by the furries?
They do, but they are uncommon. They used to be plentiful, but once 'furs' created through genetic manipulation started to take over, their numbers became less and less. Posted 17 years agoOkay, so for those of you who are not members of the Heat of the Night forums, this might not matter much to you. Or maybe you're just curious and want to read this any way. If that's the case, feel free! ^.^
Okay, so it has been about a week or so ago since this happened, but I finally got off my butt to post a journal about this. There was a brief window of time in which
rainbowjokerhound was offering up her character, Serenity, to someone who wanted her. I vied for her and ended up getting her (much quicker than I ever could have expected), much to my delight. So yes, rainbowjokerhound has given me Serenity the Jolf (Jackal/Wolf hybrid).
Now, why would I want to take on someone's character? I usually don't to be honest, especially if I don't know what I would do with them at the time since my art form of choice is writing and roleplaying. However, Serenity's design is delightfully intriguing and I already have a couple ideas on how to integrate her into the RPing forums I'm a part of. So yes, she won't go to waste now that I've taken her into my roster of characters.
There is one thing that I want to make clear, and it is something that I and rainbowjokerhound has agreed upon. Even though I own the character now, Serenity is STILL the half-sister of TPM (Jokerhound's primary character). This has not changed and never will regardless of where and how she's used.
So! What are my plans for her? Well, start RPing her of course! But when? On January 1st (or 2nd, depending on my plans for the 1st). It seems fitting that she gets a new start at the start of the new year. I'm very happy to have Serenity, and you can be sure she won't be shelved.

Explaining Myself/Artist and Artwork's Worth
Posted 17 years agoOookay, so I just bid (and won) on an auction yesterday that was by one of my favorite artists: 
odylic-force It was a sketch lot of 16 original sketches and 2 prints. Now, in the first place some may think "you paid for mere sketches?". Yes, I did, but that is not the least of which I have been confronted with. As you can see (you can view the auction page here: http://www.furbuy.com/auctions/1006921.html ), the price I bid is 127.00 USD. Plus the shipping it totals at 133.00 USD. This is about 170 CAD, 106 EUR, and 90 GBP.
So what I have been asked by a couple individual is something along the lines of: 'Why in god's name did you pay so much for SKETCHES!!" For those who may be thinking the same, let me explain it to you:
Whenever I bid on artwork, be it multiple pieces or a single piece, I base the maximum amount that I will bid on how much I think the piece(s) is/are worth. I try to take into the account the amount of time, effort, and materials, but not being artist makes all of this hard imagine. Of course, whether it is a print or an original piece is a big factor, as well as how much I enjoy the style (favorite styles= higher max bids).
Now for this auction in particular, I priced the prints according to how much I've paid for Malachi's prints in the past, and then I estimated the value and how much I would pay for each individual sketch, adding all the values up in the end. Trust me, I was being a cheap bastard when pricing these sketches, even though I would pay more for many of them if I were to buy them individually. No matter how cheaply (within reason) I valued them, the total came out to at least 160 USD, and this doesn't include the shipping charge! So actually, I feel like what I'm getting quite a bargain for ORIGNAL work (even though they are sketches) and a couple prints.
So obviously, I do not feel much remorse (there is of course the typical buyer's remorse when you lighten your wallet significantly) at all, and I feel like it was well worth it. After all kiddies, traditional artwork costs a bit more to produce than digital works, and it takes more than just a few flicks of a pencil to create detailed sketches. Artists and their artwork are worth much more than you would like to think.

Posted 17 years agoYup... Obama won, and I truly have renewed hope overall, but now that hope and joy has been tempered. Prop 8 was put through, as did the other anti-gay marriage propositions in Florida and my home state of Arizona. At least here in Arizona, there's absolutely no chance that legislation can make gay marriage legal because of it. Also, gays cannot adopt in Arkansas now. I fucking hate bigoted Christians...

Posted 17 years agoAbout today's family gathering. Today my maternal family is getting together to celebrate my sister's birthday. It will be the first time I will see them after learning that I have to find a new place to live when my mother moves to Seattle to live with her fiance. They've all been calling me, offering to take me in when I know they don't have the space nor the money. It's going to be hard turning them down.... I feel far closer to them than I have felt with my father's family. *sighs* Just hope the best, huh?

Lately there is someone I know of who is really starting to grate on my nerves. I have watched them begin to be rude to anybody who this person might take as offensive to their very suddenly warped view on the fandom and their character's fictional relationships. What the fuck... I mean really. Sure, you may think differently now that certain things have happened in your life... but you don't have to be a complete asshole to everyone else because of it. It's very unwarranted and unnecessary. Stop... being... a dick.
In other news, I still am in total love with my new icon!
